My name is Malika Orazymbetova, and I am writing to formally express my deep concern and disappointment regarding the care I received from Dr. Jennifer Briscoe during my recent delivery and postpartum period. I gave birth naturally on May 12, 2025, under Dr. Briscoe's care. This was my second pregnancy, and I was determined and hopeful to have a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC). Throughout my prenatal visits, multiple doctors reassured me that I was an excellent candidate for vaginal delivery given my age (32) and good health with no medical history. However, Dr. Briscoe was the only physician who strongly discouraged me from trying for a vaginal birth and insisted that she would not "take any risk," even though other medical professionals assessed my risks as minimal. To be honest, I found Dr. Briscoe's attitude and communication style during my care to be discouraging and dismissive. Her demeanor made me feel uncomfortable and anxious about continuing my delivery under her supervision. Unfortunately, my labor began on a day when she was on duty, leaving me with no choice but to proceed under her care. During labor, I experienced prolonged contractions and extended pushing, but Dr. Briscoe informed me that my delivery would be "hands-off" -- a term I did not fully understand at the time. Throughout my labor, my husband and sister-in-law were present to support me. My sister-in-law, who wears a head covering, was quietly praying for me in the delivery room, as my family was extremely worried about my prolonged labor. However, Dr. Briscoe's gestures and demeanor made us feel unwelcome and judged, which added unnecessary emotional stress during an already vulnerable moment. Dr. Briscoe did not monitor me as frequently as expected during the delivery. As a result, I suffered a severe third-degree tear, which, based on my research and medical consultations since, might have been preventable or at least anticipatedgiven my prolonged contractions and pushing time. Had I been informed of this heightened risk, I could have chosen to proceed with a cesarean section to avoid such a traumatic outcome. The aftermath has been devastating. I have endured intense pain and severe physical complications, including fecal and urinary incontinence, which have lasted for months. I could not sit comfortably for nearly 15 weeks postpartum. These physical challenges have been compounded by emotional distress and postpartum depression, as I struggled to care for my newborn and older twins while coping with pain and loss of dignity. Adding to this hardship, I requested Dr. Briscoe's assistance in completing necessary medical forms for my employer to process short-term disability leave. Despite providing written authorization for the release of my medical information, Dr. Briscoe refused to include my diagnosis of a third-degree tear. I spent several exhausting weeks exchanging messages with Dr. Briscoe and her assistant, Karen, trying to obtain a properly completed form -- to no avail. When I later requested another medical form to support a remote work accommodation, the same dismissive and negligent pattern continued. I have had to chase after them repeatedly, often feeling humiliated and ignored, while managing my health and caring for my children. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of empathy, professionalism, and support I received from Dr. Briscoe and her team. No patient, especially a new mother in pain, should have to fight for basic medical documentation or feel disregarded by the very professionals entrusted with her care. I kindly request that this matter be reviewed thoroughly. I also ask that appropriate actions be taken to ensure that other patients do not endure the same experience. I don't write reviews, but I feel this is very important for those who are seeking a new OBGYN as I have never in my life experienced such unprofessionalism level of care. Called in April to schedule my annual appointment that includes an ultrasound. 1st appnt -2 front desk receptionist and no acknowledgment. I stood there for over 10 min until Finally, the person at the checkout in the back calls to check me in and then she tells me that they never booked my ultrasound. I finally get called in, Dr. says, "oh you are not due for an exam, but we will check anyways" WHAT! does a quick check and advise for a biopsy on an area. I advised about the ultrasound and if it's possible to get that done today. She says "no, just book another appointment and we can do the biopsy then too" The 2nd appointment - I check in, and they tell me its $80 copay now as only the first visit is covered, I just paid it and moved on. The Biopsy was a bloody mess, and I had to talk to convince the Dr to stitch. she was sending referral to UNC based on the ultrasound. Never even got a call and I don't think she ever sent that referral in. I wake up on Saturday to find the stitches came off and there was blood everywhere. I sent a message over the portal and call the on-call number. The on-call Dr. asks if I had controlled the bleeding, I tell him yes, he says "well just wait until Monday and you will need to call the office first thing so they can get you in to re-stitch it" I was in pain all weekend and bleeding on and off. The 3rd visit - I call Monday, and they tell me to come in at 11:20. I get there at 11 and check in. I am waiting, it's almost noon, waiting room is empty, and office is quiet, I check with the person sitting at the back what is the status, she looks in the system and realizes that they NEVER CHECKED ME IN are you serious!!!! Finally, they call me. The Dr. comes in and it looked like they called her from lunch, she apologizes and says "I am sorry, I guess they forgot to check you in" she takes a quick look and decided to use Silver Nitrate. Appnt took 5 min. She writes a dr. note for me that the receptionist will print at check out. I go to check out and the person can't find the note in the system, calls another employee and they finally find it but cant figure out how to print it, they couldn't even find a letterhead document to put the note on. I was then told that the office manager had to do it. I wait, standing in pain as I cant sit. I had to call my husband to come up to help me as he was waiting in the parking deck. He checked with front desk regarding note dela. Finally, 1PM now and the manager comes out with the note only for it to have the wrong information A few days later, I get a message that I owe another $80 for the visit. Why do I owe again when the first procedure didn't go well, and I was asked to go in so it can be corrected. I called billing and the lady was not helpful. I ask to talk to the manager. I leave a VM for Rachel (manager). Days go by and nothing, call again and again. I message the Dr. through portal and ask her to call me. The nurse calls me asking me what it is regarding, I tell her, she says she will pass it on and hangs up in my face. Over 20 calls and 3 messages through the portal and nothing. OVER 2 MONTHs now and not a single person has called me back. I don't ever want to see anyone experience what I had experienced. read more

Came to the Wake Forest office for my 7 week ultrasound apt. Tech told us baby was measuring at 6 weeks and could not detect anything but a sac so they rescheduled us to come back in a week. Came back in a week and another tech told us the baby died at like 6 weeks. There was no heartbeat. The way she delivered the news though was terrible. No emotion on her part what so ever. We didn't even want to see a Dr after this terrible apt that decided to leave. She then proceeded to escort us out of the building as if we were just employees terminated. If I could give 0 starts for this office I would! No compassion towards patients going through real emotions. Just another $$ Sign to them. Go Somewhere else! Note to manager: The girl at check in was nice. However the girl who does check out if very RUDE!! Gave me dirty looks the entire Time I was waiting in the waiting room. At checkout I wrote the date in the wrong part of a form by mistake and she literally yelled at me. I said maybe highlighting it so that it stands out more would help if it's such a big deal. She is not professional nor pleasant to deal with. Too many people looking for jobs to have someone like that working the front desk. She belongs in the back away from having interactions with patients. If you are going to keep here there you need to have a serious conversation with her about customer service. As a Women's Health Nurse in the hospital connected to this practice, I am appalled by the treatment I received during my appointment at Raleigh OB-GYN. Both of my appointments were extremely delayed--the first being 45 minutes behind, and the second being 1 hour behind. This is to be expected at an office, but there was zero regard for tardiness from the front desk staff or the practitioner. I chose Nurse Practitioner Allison because I have always felt more comfortable with NPs over MDs for procedures. This was not the case with this provider. NP Allison discussed the procedure with me, however, did not verbalize placement of a speculum before she placed it, did not warn me before wiping my cervix, and was going to biopsy my cervix without warning me. I had to advocate for myself and ask her to PLEASE walk me through each step of what she was doing. This is NOT trauma informed care. I asked her to hold pressure on the spot that was bleeding and to use Monsel paste. She remarked that it was "too messy" and that silver nitrate would stop the bleeding faster. I felt my request was not taken seriously and she did what was faster, vs what would be more beneficial to me in the long run. I understand that providers need to do what is the most safe, and maybe the Monsel paste wouldn't have worked due to the severity of the bleeding, but that could have been her answer vs. simply not "wanting" to use it. I immediately gave the provider feedback in real time--that you do not place a speculum without consenting the patient FIRST. She remarked that she has never had a patient want to know anything going on "down there". I find this to be completely inappropriate and a sad excuse for a provider running late. Ultimately, I feel I was not treated like a HUMAN let alone a partner in healthcare. I fully enjoy working alongside the doctors of this practice, however, I will not be returning for my OB-GYN care in the future. read more

This clinic advertises fertility services on their website. I went in in hopes to run some bloodwork and investigate why I'm unable to conceive. I explained that I've been doing fertility treatments on and off for 2 years with a local fertility clinic but my fertility clinic only ran Vitamin D and TSH bloodwork in the entire time I was a patient with them, so I was looking for additional testing related to women's health. The doctor was very dismissive saying she won't be able to do anything at all for me. She said their "investigation" doesn't go beyond vitamin D and TSH. Um, what? That's why there are so many women struggling with infertility because nobody is willing to look for the actual cause. This clinic's "fertility treatments" include Clomid or letrozole. That's it. a complete waste of my time. After 5 minutes (if at all) of speaking with the doctor, who barely spoke to me beyond - we can't do anything for you - I got billed $230, of which $40 is my responsibility. I've never had to pay anything out of pocket for my past obgyn visits, with exams and bloodwork run (same insurance, same plan). Not sure what I was billed for in this case when nobody even looked at me. I would avoid this place. read more

I have been a patient for over 20 years and normally would give5 stars. My 18 year old daughter had her first gynecologist appointment and I had to sit in the hallway (the entire visit) near the elevators due to Covid precautions. I was annoyed that men accompanying their wives were allowed inside the waiting room and then back into the appointment. They should have also had to wait in the hallway until the ultrasound was ready. read more

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for Dr. Littleton, his team and the staff both at Center OBGYN and UNC Rex Raleigh. They not only took the very best care of me, but the process from beginning to end has been unforgettable. Dr. Littleton performed a Laparoscopic Myomectomy and he was amazing! He literally held my hand through the OR Room until I went to sleep for the surgery. Going through this was absolutely painful, but everyone was so kind and caring. I can't thank him enough for giving me my quality of life back. It's only been 2 days since my surgery, but I know this was the right thing to do and I know I will be in a better place in my life after I have healed. I highly recommend Dr. Littleton and his team to take care of you no matter the case, but especially with this surgery. read more

I am new to the area and I LOVED my previous OB/GYN in Chicago, so switching doctors was a stressful thing for me but I feel SO happy to have found this practice. The front office staff and nursing staff are very friendly and efficient. I made an appointment with Dr Brimmage to continue trying to diagnose issues I was seeing my previous OB for. He was extremely friendly and took the time to ask and answer any and all questions that would help get us on the right path for diagnosis and treatment options. He thoroughly explained every option available and sent me home with a print out of his notes and suggestions, so that my husband and I could review everything before making any decisions. I sent him a message with our decision on next steps and he responded promptly and arranged my appointment/test at the fertility clinic of our choice. As someone with a history of gynecological problems, I truly feel lucky to have found Dr Brimmage on my first try in a new city! I was about 8 months pregnant when we moved from Winston-Salem to Raleigh and I was nervous about finding a new doctor so late in "the game." I was recommended this OB office by a friend. She raved about how wonderful it was and I am so glad I gave them a call. This office made me feel so welcomed. I didn't feel like "a number." There are quite a few doctors here and I met 3 of them. Usually I don't tend to like having male OBs but Dr. Segal and Dr. Campbell were simply wonderful! When I went into labor, I got to meet Dr. Trollip and I LOVED HER! Th quality of care from the doctors is wonderful. However the front office staff and billing department make working with this office a nightmare. The front office staff is not nice, friendly, or welcoming. You are truly just a number, and they are there just to collect a paycheck. You can tell that they do not care about their patients and are not there to help, they are just there to clock in and out and do the absolute bare minimum for their patients. Billing and insurance is like I said, a nightmare to work with. They are not transparent in their fees. You can go in for the exact same service twice and be charged two completely different fees. If you ask why, they get an attitude and give a very unclear explanation. Sadly after having 2 children with this office, I can't bring myself to continue my care here. The doctors are all wonderful! But it doesn't make up for the poor care that the rest of the admin staff provides. read more

Went in with pregnancy symptoms and very abnormal bleeding only to not be taken seriously and told "you need to stay off google".... later that day i took my own pregnancy test and it was positive... went back in and seen her she confirmed i could possibly be miscarrying....... save your coins and go else where. Dr. Alan Segal is very knowledgeable with conditions that may complicate pregnancies, and speaking as a person with a genetic disorder that may cause problems with my pregnancies, I feel very comfortable with him and his level of care. He spent more time with me than other OB/GYN's have, and was the first to offer genetic testing for other conditions. His nurses and office assistants were professional, efficient. but pleasant enough, not rude like I had read on other reviews. Not sure if the offending nurse is still there or not. His phlebotomist was very gentle drawing the 13 vials of blood ordered by Dr. S. and hasn't left any bruising like other blood draws have. I specifically chose this office because of their affiliation with Rex Hospital and UNC Healthcare, which is well-known and respected for their hematology division. I'm quite pleased with my choice in doctors. The only reason I don't give this office 5-stars is for the time I waited to see the doctor, a full 40 minutes past my appointment time... and I arrived a half-hour early. I'm willing to overlook this for the care I received--if Dr. Segal spends that much time with every patient, I'm not surprised he's running late. read more

I've been a patient of Raleigh OBGYN since 1996. I've had 2 babies delivered by Raleigh OBGYN and couldn't be more pleased with the practice in general. I continue to travel 40 minutes to this office because I feel that the level of care is that good. As far as my OB care went: Dr. Joe Campbell is my primary physician there along with his nurse, Kathy. Every visit is thorough and I'm treated as if they're never in a rush and have as much time as I may need to answer any questions I may have. Their practice has gone above and beyond when I've had testing done to get me the results quickly. You know how it is to sit and wait for the phone to ring with good or bad news, right? My first child was a difficult delivery that required intervention by Dr. Holt (retired) to deliver her. He remained calm and professional and the result was a healthy baby and mom. My second child came later in life and Dr. Campbell referred me to a specialist to make sure my pregnancy was going in the right direction. Again, healthy baby and healthy mom. While in labor, Dr. Campbell even stopped by to see how I was doing in the hospital even though he wasn't on call and it was after hours. As far as my GYN care goes, every attention to detail is given to me and I feel that the practice is aware of new treatments and advances and makes sure I'm aware of them as well. I struggled with unpleasant symptoms which were finally diagnosed by Dr. Campbell and he laid out treatment options for me that make the condition much more bearable. My regular physician had no idea what was causing my discomfort. Glad he did! read more

First of all, I am not usually one to leave negative reviews, as I try to give everyone a little grace and I understand things happen. However, this is my first pregnancy and I was expecting much better than the care I received from Raleigh OBGYN. I was told by several that Rex was the best hospital to deliver. After looking at reviews, I decided to give Raleigh OBGYN a try. I have been for 3 appointments and each has been a little more disappointing. The ultrasound tech and the sweet woman in the call room are the only reasons I have not left a poor review before now. Actually, right now I am currently on my 13th outgoing call trying to get someone on the phone to cancel my upcoming appointment, as I am switching practices. Parking is incredibly inconvenient, as Raleigh OBGYN is actually a part of Rex hospital. They are nearly impossible to get on the phone should you have any questions or need to schedule an appointment. I think this is because they only have the one sweet woman handling the high volume of calls they receive. I only saw Dr. Allison during my visits and she was very knowledgeable and calm. However, the rest of the staff is very dismissive and I felt rushed through every part of my appointment. I understand they serve a high volume of patients, but I even felt extremely rushed to put my pants back on after the ultrasound so that they could hurry and be done with me and move on to the next! The lab techs who draw blood were not much better, hardly acknowledging me even when I said I get faint or queasy when giving blood. They just ignored me and chatted with each other while my vile was full. With it being my first pregnancy, I was looking for a little hand-holding and patience- not dismissive attitudes I have decided to switch practices and the amazing woman in the call room helped as best she could to get me set up with a medical release form, allowing me to email it directly to her. However, other than that, I feel as though no one wanted to help me as I was switching providers and would no longer be their problem. It took my new provider calling Raleigh OBGYN to finally send over my medical release form. They also are not allowing a support person to come to any appointments because of Covid, but I won't hold that against them. I'm glad many have had positive experiences with Raleigh OBGYN, I just wish mine was better. read more

I just had my first baby with Raleigh OB-GYN and had an overall positive experience. I saw every doctor throughout my pregnancy, but Dr. Briscoe ultimately delivered my baby and provided excellent postpartum care. I also see Dr. Briscoe for my annual exams and highly recommend her! She is intelligent, funny, patient and kind. I have to admit that I hated the idea of having a male OB, but both Dr. Segal and Dr. Brimmage actually ended up being two of my favorite providers. They are extremely thorough and make you feel like you are their number one priority. They listen to your needs and take the time to ensure that you are both educated and comfortable. I absolutely loved them! The front office staff is also exceptional - they are always so kind and willing to help. The only reason I did not give the practice 5 stars is because I had a terrible experience with Dr. Campbell. I saw him twice and both times he had terrible bedside manners. He was condescending and made me extremely uncomfortable. It's unfortunate because the rest of the providers and staff at Raleigh OB-GYN are amazing. read more

I wanted to give this 0 stars, but there was a doctor who started here at the end of my pregnancy who was a saint, so I gave it 2 for her. I was never seen for the time of my appointment. I had to wait anywhere between 20 minutes-1 hour in the waiting room before being called back. My glucose test came back negative, according to the nurse, but I had 2 doctors ask me how my eating plan with my gestational diabetes was going while they were looking at my chart. The older doctor here with bleached hair (Dr. Campbell, I think) had repulsive bedside manner and told me that I would get a 3D ultrasound when hell froze over. Not kidding. He was also the same one to screw up my foley balloon when I was induced, even though I made it clear that I did not want him in the deliver room with me. I was induced a week later than their policy "allows", because no one contacted me to schedule it on time. Their management is horrendous with scheduling. And my delivery was a nightmare. They overbooked inductions or something, because my doctor only spent about 30 minutes with me during the time of my delivery (this doesn't include the time she eventually spent giving me a c-section). The rest of the time I was delivering, 10 hours, my HUSBAND had to coach me while a receptionist used baby shampoo as a lubricant. I was not asked if I wanted to walk around, use the birthing ball, or the shower. I laid on my back the whole time in stirrups - even though they knew my baby was going to be huge (almost 10lbs) It was a nightmare. Please, PLEASE, save yourself the stress and go somewhere else. read more

As with other reviews on here, I will state I wish I could give zero stars. I was referred here after going to Rex hospital for a condition that's like morning sickness but doesn't stop and creates dehydration. My first visit it took the doctor an hour and a half once I was in the examination room. She then suggested I go back to the hospital as they "No longer had time to do IV's". They would have had the time were they not running over an hour behind. I came back the following morning to receive IV and was charged for both visits. They did 3 internal ultrasounds in 4 weeks stating it was their "policy". This is with nothing being wrong with my baby and I said they were somewhat painful. The anti nausea they prescribed they did not send a case to my insurance as to why I needed them, therefore I was massively overcharged. They tried to act as though this was the fault of my pharmacy who actually laughed when I repeated this. They stated a medical professional HAD to contact insurance. During one appointment I was left in the waiting room for 40 minutes after a 2.5 hour appointment waiting for bloodwork. It turns out the receptionists didn't bother to check to see if anyone had gotten me and assumed I was no longer there, my hair is bright green. My fiancé and I both checked in with the front desk during this and though we were sitting directly beside one another, acted as though it was the first time they had spoken about it, trying to say he didn't even hand them paperwork (Which is untrue). I was directed by 3 separate staff to wait in the waiting room during this. Due to the doctor having a "preference" for seeing someone at 12 weeks even though I had been seen at 10 they tried to schedule yet another unnecessary appointment and ultrasound despite no problems with my baby. I decided to switch to a birthing center and just request my records be transferred. They were not about to make that easy either. They lied to my new office about the timelines of their record request which is through a third party distributor in...California? Who will not fax and only mail records. I have now gone almost a month without being seen because my records are...somewhere? Both the new office and I have followed up weekly with record request office "Sharecare" with them saying they are "processing". This place does not care about you or your babies well being and try to get the most money possible including unnecessary ultrasounds, visits, and tests. They will just leave you places in the office. The nurses are the only friendly part of the entire experience. My doctor who intimately examined me never so much as smiled and would comment on my nervousness each time suggesting I be medicated. She did not seem to consider improving her bed side manner and shaking hands before forcing people into uncomfortable situations may help. I still do not have access to my own records about my body originally requested almost a month ago, stopping me from receiving care elsewhere. If you value your well being go absolutely anywhere else. read more

I love Dr. Campbell! I have to admit, I was unsure of him at first, but after he delivered my son, and handled my postpartum care, I love this man! He's straight forward and a no excuses kind of guy, and I need that. He tells me like it is. And then, when you're done pushing, and you're breathing heavy, and you have a healthy baby boy, he tells you what a great job you did and how proud he is of you. When you tell him at a postpartum appoint that you feel a little anxious, that you feel a little overwhelmed, he tells you that from where he's sitting, he sees a new mom, with a beautiful, happy baby, and he knows that you are doing things right. Doctors are good but THE WORSE RUN OFFICE!!! If you are on a time frame forget it! I have waited up to three hours waiting for an appointment. I went in today for a glucose test at 8am...didn't get called back for the test until 8:15am. Saw the doctor at 9:05, when that appt. was initially scheduled for 8:20. I waited twenty minutes to see the doctor. I was out of the office by 9:20am. In my opinion, I would recommend a different OBGYN because you will waste a lot of time at their office, despite the doctors being nice. We pay a lot of money for doctors and my time is just as valuable as theirs. To be hounded by reminder calls and emails for my appt. yet when I arrive in the office NOTHING is ever run on schedule. read more

Honestly, I've been to a good amount of doctors during my time and this practice is easily the worst. Ive been talked down to, dismissed, and just not treated well overall. There were quite a few discrepancies between ultrasounds. For example, one ultrasound said my uterus was in one position and the next said it was flipped which is nearly impossible for someone who is not pregnant. On top of that when I explained my medical history to Dr. Trollip there were glaring mistakes in the notes and care summaries. She said I had been diagnosed with something I hadn't! All I said was that it was mentioned at a point when she asked, but I did stress I was not diagnosed with that disorder. To add the cherry on top, I did mention i had a negative reaction to a specific drug. Dr. Trollip prescribed a similar drug and mentioned a notice popped up when she typed it in. I explained I had ended up in the ER with that particular drug. She said it was only similar so it shouldn't be a big deal. I took the medication as needed and on the second day I woke up barely able to breathe, shaking and incomprehensible. When I brought it up to Dr. Trollip she was rude and tried saying that she only prescribed it as needed, even though i was taking it as needed in intervals consistent with the bottle and her care notes. I've honestly never been gaslight by a doctor before so this has been an interesting experience to save the least. At best this practice is unprofessional, at worst they made mistakes in my case that could've negatively affected my health. I wouldn't recommend this practice to my worst enemy. read more

I've been going to this practice for over ten years and have always been satisfied. I called on Monday for a routine prescription to be refilled and no one called me back. I called again on Wednesday and left another message with no response. This is NOT the level of customer service I expect as a loyal Customer. read more

I absolutely would not recommend this practice. I tried to schedule an appointment with this clinic and the admin assistant was totally rude and unwilling to schedule. Their website mentions high risk and they take my insurance so I asked to simply schedule an appointment to speak with a provider because I am being followed by high risk simply because I had preeclampsia with my now 22 year old son and I'm 37 otherwise healthy. I was so disappointed. I could have respected her response had she taken the time to ask why I was considered high risk but instead she heard those words and totally dismissed giving me an appointment. Like she would not schedule the appointment. Then when I asked to please speak with an office manager she said she was an office admin and following protocol and that I could fax my medical records and they would evaluate and see if I could be seen and rudely proceeded to give the fax number. Yeah, NO THANKS, if this is how you treat prospect new patients I defiantly do not want you delivering my baby!!! read more

Dr. Segal, Dr. Fisher, and Dr Rapaport were my doctors during my last pregnancy. Granted I did have to wait 30 plus minutes at every appointment as soon as they were in the room with me I knew why, they actually take alot of time w each patient, answer any question and made me feel at ease. I loved that the office is connected to the Rex Birth hospital. I loved being able to deliver in Rex, Dr. Fisher was the best! My daughter is now 6 but I still go for my Gyn check ups. Staff is friendly and bilingual. Be prepared with a book or take a nap!! read more

I had my first child in DC; just had my second here in Raleigh and went with Raleigh OB-GYN Centre. I loved everything about this practice. Contrary to other reviews, I found the staff to be excellent and the practice to be quite efficient. I know they just changed over to a new computer system so perhaps that has helped things. I saw lots of different staff members and not one was rude or incompetent. As far as the doctors go, I particularly loved Dr. Segal, who attended to me in Labor & Delivery when I had some early contractions and talked me through the scenarios. Ultimately, we were able to stop the contractions. He also performed my c-section a month later and it was a fantastic experience. He did a great job and I feel amazing three weeks out. If you like a doctor who will share with you at length his professional assessment and opinion and has a great bedside manner, choose Dr. Segal (of course it's all up to chance on the big day, but I had a planned c-section and was able to make the date). I also saw the other doctors in the practice throughout my pregnancy and all were competent and I trusted them. Great practice! read more

This practice truly is as good as it gets! Each doctor is professional and personable, informative and caring. The care I received as a first time mom with identical twins was EXCEPTIONAL. Dr. Segal delivered my daughters by elective cesarean in May, and the entire surgery from beginning to 6-weeks postpartum was FLAWLESS! I absolutely love Centre OBGYN. I have gone to Centre for routine gynecology appointments for many years, and now I'm going for obstetrician appointments for my lil' bun in the oven. The front office staff has always been polite, gracious, and courteous. The doctors are professional and very patient. I never feel like my questions and concerns are an annoyance to the doctors at Centre. Have you ever had a doctor that is just plain weird and peculiar?! There are no doctors like that at Centre :)! The wait times in the exam rooms may be a little long at times but it's not severe. I have been to other gynecology offices in the Raleigh and Wake Forest areas, and none of them come close to Centre. read more

The office has terrible customer service. This is not the practice for you if you want a supportive place to go during your pregnancy or for your gynecological needs. I have been a patient with them for over 12 years, and they have delivered both of my children. The doctors are not bad, but over the past couple of years, I have encountered several support staff who severely lacked competence and basic customer service skills. They take no responsibility for their actions, and conduct themselves in a very unprofessional manner. They even resorted to lying to cover their incompetence. It sounds like the other reviewer had the opposite experience from me. I absolutely love this practice. There's convenient parking. It's right by Rex Hospital (and delivers there). I had my first child with them in 2009. Now pregnant again, my insurance stopped covering Rex, so I went with a highly rated obgyn in Durham. I didn't realize how spoiled I'd been. Raleigh obgyn makes it as easy as possible to get through your pregnancy. They handle everything. I'm switching insurance plans JUST so I can go back to them! read more

I am sorry to hear that the previous user's experience was less than stellar, but my experience has been the complete opposite. I have never had anything but EXEMPLARY care at Raleigh OBGYN. I have been a patient there for more than 12 years. Dr. Campbell, in fact, has been my doctor. He is kind, caring, and understanding. He cares about his patients, their problems, and wants to help. It is a practice of his to bring his patients into his office after an appointment to discuss the results. He is respectful and makes a trip to the OBGYN comfortable. As for the rest of the practice, they are just as caring and kind. I had a high risk pregnancy and some complications. The Raleigh OBGYN team was there for me every step of the way. When I had to go to the hospital, the doctor on call was there immediately to triage the situation (Dr. Campbell was there the first time, to my relief; Dr. Bruton the second time). Dr. Munro delivered my girls. Even though it was an emergency delivery (they were 2 months early), she made the situation more comfortable with her prompt, but well thought decisions. Each doctor has their own style, but they are all professional, kind, and caring--patients do not have to look hard to see that they truly love what they do. The doctors at Raleigh OBGYN are an incredibly compassionate, caring, and dedicated. They make all of their decisions with the welfare of their patients (born or not) in mind. I know that it has to be tough to make some of the decisions that they make, but they do it with conviction and the leverage of experience. I am forever grateful for the care that they have given and continue to give me. There is no other OBGYN practice that I would recommend. read more

The group of people that work there always made me feel comfortable and important during my prenatal care. They welcomed me with a smile every time I walked through the door. I would recommend anyone to go there for prenatal care or any other ob care. From the receptionist to the physicians this is a place you would want to go. read more

the PA i had was not very helpful. I wanted to talk through some options and she was pretty much like "hm it's up to you!"

Received a call that the office was closed THREE minutes before I was due at the office. Never mind that fact that it took me 80 minutes to drive to the office and when trying to call the office back I was hung up on once, and twice not one person would answer. I don't expect a business to care about their patients, but at least show a little consideration and notify them in advance. On to find a OB/GYN that actually communicates with their patients. This place must be very understaffed, poor management, or too important for the little people. read more
