The office is cozy and easy to find and is attached to Rex Hospital which I received fantastic care from on the day of my last procedure.

The Bredesen Protoco is proven to not only prevent cognitive loss, but to reverse cognitive loss! I gave birth to a baby boy in November and went to Kamm McKenzie OBGYN. I had originally signed up…read morewith the practice over a year ago based on recommendations from friends. In my circle of friends seven ladies have either delivered with Kamm Mckenzie OBGYN or are planning to in the next few months. To me that is a pretty large sample size of happy pregnant woman. I know it can be hard to get an appointment when you are not pregnant, but when you are pregnant they work hard to fit you in at a time that fits your schedule. The scheduler was great at making sure we had visited every doctor by the end of my pregnancy. I usually went in on Friday mornings for my appointment and never had to wait more than 15 minutes to see the doctor. I was fortunate and didn't have complications during pregnancy so the appointments were pretty quick and straight forward. If I had questions, each doctor took the time to answer them, if I didn't have any questions they made sure I was sure of that! It is a big practice, that is a downside since you have no idea who will deliver your baby and you may like some providers more than others. But, I feel like that is definitely the norm these days and because of this you don't have to worry about your appointment being rescheduled because your doctor is attending a delivery. Another benefit of Kamm Mckenzie is that they deliver at WakeMed Raleigh aka Big WakeMed. They are the only other practice besides WakeMed OBGYN that delivers there. The hospital has one of the lowest c-section rates in the country which was important to me. On delivery day I first interacted with Dr Bernstein and then Dy Byrd. I feel so lucky that Dr Byrd was the doctor who delivered my son. She is a sweet, caring, and upbeat doctor. I loved having her encouragement in the delivery room and seeing her for my postpartum appointment. I can't recommend her enough!

Oversight Mechanisms * Continuous patient feedback should be encouraged and incorporated into quality improvement efforts. * Healthcare systems must maintain accountability through transparent practices. * State and federal oversight agencies should conduct prompt and regular evaluations of healthcare facilities. * Organizations must demonstrate a willingness to address concerns and improve practices based on feedback and oversight findings. CONCERN There seems to be no accountability there. The chairs, walls in the rooms etc are nasty and have filthy stains. I was afraid to sit in the chairs. This is at a health facility! In one room it looks like some splashed body fluids on the walls the area were you change your clothes to be seen. For the past 3 years coming to the facility I have had to wait 1 sometimes 2 hours to be seen even after setting an appointment. Most of the time the doctor have forgotten and begin seeing other patients. I have grown use to I usually bring something to work on now because I already know I will be waiting long. Sometimes I will just ask to reschedule to help the doctor get back track with patients! I have never seen anything like this before.

They made me feel at ease with every step. This was the same with Dr. Park that I saw virtually twice for my consultation and follow up. Everyone wants to care and you can feel it. Minus one star for the blood pressure machine fiasco. I told one of the medical assistants to use a manual cuff as I always run high on the automatic cuff. And I was high and in some pain, so next time I will ask them to give me some time and take it manually. Also, I hope they upgrade their water fountain in the lobby--it kept spraying me in the face--smile.

I had a healthy, successful pregnancy from my very first IVF and 3 remaining genetically normal embryos remaining after I moved to the state. At my first implantation, the doctor asked about the gender (we had 2 males and 1 female remaining. We implanted the female). The doctor said "another girl? What are you going to tell your son one day?" Doctor, that's none of your business. That implantation ended in a miscarriage. For the next two [failed] implantations, my doctor added different medications saying "at this point, the studies are all voodoo, so why not try." She knows more than me so I trusted her, which I shouldn't have done. She tested my thyroid and gave me medication but never told me how important it is to take thyroid medication separate from other medicines. I realize she's not an endocrinologist, but if you prescribe it, you should give the warning. At one point I was taking over 11 pills and a shot. She also assumed that adding more estrogen was the answer and my levels were skyrocketing. Again, I'm not the doctor. As I said, both my implantations failed. I know that IVF is never a guarantee. And I don't completely fault the facility, however, in my journey to expand my family I feel like I wasted a year at Carolina Conceptions. New to the area, I thought it was my only option. It's not.

We first saw the doctors in the Durham office and were less than pleased. Once we started coming to the Raleigh office we were very impressed! The staff is very friendly and discreet. They even let us wait in a different room when we had a difficult visit and I was visibly upset (crying). The doctors are very nice and very informative of the tests they were running and the results they found. They were honest with the results but explained them in a very caring way that made you feel like you were their most important patient. We love Dr. Kuller and Dr. Rhee and after successfully having a baby recently, are continuing to see them as long as they will have me as a GYN patient. It's worth the drive to be in such a caring office environment!

The nursing staff, phlebotomists, and physicians were among the nicest I've ever met. They made this whole daunting procedure as good as it possibly could've been.
