We purchased a 4 pk of Raley's premade hamburger patties of 4th of July bbq as we have in the past. However, this product did not cook well, and the finished product was tasteless and had poor consistency. Raley's used to have hamburger patties with different types of cheese incorporated with patties, they had flavor and juicy consistency . Raley's should be more careful with the product they put their name brand on. read more

1 star to the teenager with dark brown/black longer then shoulder length hair I asked where the tajin was. He said it should be here if it's not then I dunno then went directly to the back to avoid me. Literally a lazy ass that couldn't ask his coworker where the tajin was. 5stars to older white gentleman that was filling the produce section and was friendly and helpful. Raleys you need to train your younger folk about customer service. I'd give 1 star if I didn't run into the guy from the produce aisle. read more

I don't understand why Raleys bothers to respond to negative reviews with "we'll do better" when they don't. I just gave this place another chance and it hasn't improved at all. Every line was hitting the back of the store and only 2 lines were open. One line had an employee talking to another. Like, ma'am, are you sure you don't have work to do? This is something I would expect from Walmart or Winco - stores that makeup for their lazy employees with cheaper prices but even their employees put some effort into their work. Selection is good so is location, customer service especially in the self checkout area is substandard, I have used the self checkout many times and I always feel unwelcomed, the employees in this specific area are usually chatting amongst each other usually complaining about working at Raleys. The plastic bags are kept where the employees congregate which makes it cumbersome to reach. A smile goes a long way and it's free :-) read more

Ewww I'm disappointed...I came in craving a deli sandwich which usually they're incredible. Today I came in and the lady making the sandwich seemed more like she wanted to do things her way than to help the customer. She barely spoke and when she did speak it was to tell me she was going to do this or that not give me an option. Secondly, I look up as she starts putting Mayo on my sandwich and it looked like it had been sitting out and not kept cool. There was that nasty yellow clear gel on top. Also the tuna salad wasn't being kept cool it was in a plastic tub tossed to the side Yuck !!!! I told her to wrap it up and threw it in the garbage immediately. read more

I truly hate leaving a review that is only one star because I personally love shopping at Raleys and it's normal for me to stop here on a daily basis sometimes. It's a good place for me to go to when I need to pick up one thing or another throughout my week. I know what is available here for the most part and I basically know where most items are located throughout the store (I could probably work here and really enjoy it actually) Ok but anyways let me get back to what my issue is.... I knew that this location had a coffee shop counter type of a service in the back of the store and was looking forward to coming to this location for that service today. My thought was that I'd visit this location for "$5 Monday " and made sure to visit the store before the coffee counter closed for the day, which is 3pm I believe. Well I was there today at 11am so I was early enough. I truly LOVE the black ice tea that they offer and it's only offered while the counter is open. So I was disappointed when I went to the counter and was told by the older lady who was working there that she didn't have ice tea today. I don't understand that at all. Why doesn't she have ice tea. There's no tea at all??? I mean come on now. If it's something on the menu then why can't it be available unless they are out of it all together. There is 3 different ice teas on the menu. I would've settled for any of them even though I prefer the black ice tea. I asked her again, "you mean you have no tea today..." And she said again that she doesn't have tea today. Maybe if she would have atleast gave me an option to wait for tea to be brewed I could have made the choice to wait but she didn't offer me anything. Just a blank look on her face and the words no tea. I didn't want to hear those words obviously and wasn't happy when I walked away. The young man who was working looked at me a little confused and so I said, " I guess you guys have no tea today" . I can tell he was confused by what I said and he repeated it to the lady with confusion in his voice. Based on his response now I wish I would've went to him to help me today instead because I think it probably would have been handled differently and maybe I'd be leaving with my ice tea that I had been looking forward to for too long. I don't know where I can get Peets black ice tea but I guess maybe I should venture out and see what my options are :( read more

I went to get the best sandwiches over a Raley's today. I ordered 2 turkey, bacon an avocado sandwiches. The girl told me OUT OF BACON.!!! OK, then I told myself I will make some at home. @raleys is not requiring masks at California stores. They could tell customers to order online in order to keep the rest of us safe but Raley's would rather cater to people like this. I won't be shopping Raley's anymore and neither should you. The pat answer given by the Business Manager below is the same answer they gave on the socials. Again, you can refuse to give them in store service and instead offer them curbside pickup. But Raley's refusal to expect compliance from customers over a basic health and safety issue is why I won't be shopping at Raley's any longer. read more

Peet's is available, and since there doesn't seem to be a standalone Peet's location here, I'm happy to go to Raley's since they're usually good. We got there only 10 minutes before they were stopping coffee service. The person from the bakery had been cleaning and was quite gracious, despite the time. She made both of our drinks with an amazing amount of grace and patience, and the drinks were good, as expected. I missed out on my final free coffee, due to the switch in policies but I just got a $5.00 certificate for Something Extra, so I'm not feeling that bad. Raley's is a bit expensive at times, but what I buy is usually cheaper than at Save Mart, and I end up shopping between Raley's, Target, and Safeway to get my non-Asian groceries. read more

I live part time in Lodi Ca and this is my staple spot...all the employees have always been super friendly and have great selections. I am not sure if the amount of bad reviews because on the years that I have been going to this location have never had a bad experience. Sometimes and this is everywhere people are not coming to work so wait times can be longer than normal but gain that's everywhere. Plus they have a great deli with salad bar that I love to frequent. Always fresh and always well kept. Also love the selection of Lodi wines and even though I love going to the local wineries their selection is pretty awesome along with lots of spirits and micro beer selection. read more

I love the Lodi Raleys and have been shopping here for many years. The produce is always high quality. I really like the deli and highly recommend that you try one of their sandwiches. They are huge and delicious! You can find a good selection of pasta salads and other kinds of ready-made salads, and there is a good soup and salad bar available. You can always find a rotisserie chicken, fried or baked chicken, oven-roasted hot turkey breast or meatloaf. It's very convenient to get a quick dinner together when you don't want to cook. Head to the bakery as well for a variety of desserts or bread to add to your meal. Customer service is very good, and I've come to know many of the employees. If the check-out is particularly busy, I just use self-check out. I've never had a long wait except near a major holiday. They get extremely busy then, and it just shows how many other people love this store too. I will always support this store with my business. read more

I have been to this Raley's many times before and usually just come to pick a few items from the produce section (I always prefer to buy my fruits and veggies at the location I am visiting instead of bringing them from home) and occasionally from the alcohol section. This store in general is pretty clean and the aisles are neat and usually pretty adequately stocked. Sometimes the prices for the bottles of wine here can actually be cheaper than BevMo, but not always. The produce section looks clean and fairly fresh. But the only complaint I have is the long lines. I have been here in the mornings and in the evenings and I don't understand why another check out stand just can't be open if there more than 5 people in line, especially if there are other employees walking around, not doing much. Other markets I have been to usually open another check stand if such a situation occurs, but I guess not here. Perhaps people in Lodi are just more patience and more willing to wait in line than people from LA I guess. Anyways, there is always plenty of parking here. read more

I live close to the supermarket so this is my most convenient grocery store and I dread shopping here when I need something. Every time I shop here the associates are always carrying on convos with each other at the check out instead of acknowledging me! I never get a hello or how are you. I have been shopping here two years now and Ive only been asked ONCE if id like help to my car!! I use to be a courtesy clerk when I was younger..I always asked each person for help out!! 5-star market but product purchased 5/4/18 was sub-par, thus 1-star rating. Bought organic basil [$2.49] yesterday to use today. Did not refrigerate as per package instructions and put in cool place in kitchen. Opened today for my Caprese Salad and over half the 2oz was unusable because leaves were already spoiled/spoiling. Two days ago I called the butcher shop at Raley's in Lodi. The butcher shop didn't answer the phone. I drove to the store and went directly to the butcher shop. An employee was stocking the meat shelves. I asked him if he had any fresh turkeys. He turned and said, "Thanksgiving isn't for three weeks. Its too early. ". I then asked if he had frozen turkeys. Again with sarcasm he said, "Turn your big cart around and go back to the bin on the left side of the aisle". There were several people in the area who were watching and listening. I felt humiliated and embarrassed by this man. All that was necessary would be to say in a kind manner that you only have frozen turkeys for a couple more weeks. There was no need for the sarcasm or loud voice. I have been a customer of Raley's since I was 8 years old in Sacramento on Freeport Boulevard. My husband always wants to shop at Food for Less, however, I ask for Raley's because of the nice people great variety and cleanliness. Maybe I'll have to take my husband's advice. I never would have thought that an employee of Raley's would be so rude. He was an older- tall heavyset man. read more

She was making a sandwich for myself & my daughter & proceeded to take the knife out of the avocado spread & use it for my mayo. Another great review for e-cart! Due to needing a specific item or being in another area, we have had the opportunity to try curbside pickup at two other Raley's stores and a couple of competitors as well. If curbside to-go was soccer, the Lodi Raley's e-cart crew would be the World Cup, and everybody else is me on the green team when I was six. She has always gone out of her way to assist my husband and me, who are finding it harder to shop due to the ever-progressive ravages of old age. I went to the bakery dept on Sunday, Jan 2, 2022 at 6:40AM to buy a large tart. They are very good but for some reason they did not have any. I tried to ask the blonde lady working there more information as to when they have them or if they are only seasonal but she was very curt and rude. Quite possibly the best grocery store in Lodi. Some of their prices are a little on the high side but there are many other things that keep me coming back. PROS: Really great meat department. Decent gourmet cheese selection. Nice selection of natural, organic, and health foods. The largest organic produce selection of any grocery store in Lodi. Beautiful floral department. And what takes the cake... Buy 6 bottles of wine and get 30% off!! Did I mention that they have a pretty good wine selection? Oh, and the staff are awesome! Really, really great customer service. This is the worst javita I've ever had! I order them on occasion (once a month when I get a pedicure next door) & I have never had one this color or one that tasted this bad. I asked for a small javita with raspberry flavoring. The consistency is runny & I can't taste the raspberry. The barista did fill up my cup but I wanted whipped cream & she told me she'd have to dump some out to do that. I didn't want to waste it so I declined. What I don't understand is that the person in front of me ordered the same drink (minus the raspberry) and hers looked great.
