I ordered a couple sandwiches for pick up today and well, they were definitely sandwiches... The bread on both was a soft white loaf; basically a neutral canvas with no real flavor to overpower the other ingredients. The different fillings in each were all incredibly mild in flavor. One had a splash of vinegar taste. The lettuce was crunchy with no flavor. The tomato had a touch of juiciness with a hint of flavor. A little bit of mayonnaise brought everything together and added a little flavorless moisture. It was like eating a nothing sandwich. I took a Covid test and bit into a jalapeno to make sure I still had my sense of taste and all is well with me personally. So, if you are looking for an unpretentious, incredibly basic and ordinary meal, this place will suffice.

I visited Jimmy John's on Sunday, 2/11/24, around 5 PM. I decided to order the giant #11 Country Club. It came with turkey, ham, provolone, lettuce, tomato, and mayo. I was able to customize the sandwich by also adding pickles and mustard. All in all, the sandwich was huge, filling, and tasty. The bread was soft and all of the ingredients tasted fresh. I truly enjoyed the quality of the sandwich. The customer service was fast and friendly. The inside of the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. I recommend coming here for a sandwich fix.

I am happy that they opened up in Lodi. Especially since they have a drive thru window. I tried the #11. The french roll was fresh and soft. It came with mayo, lettuce and tomatoes which also were fresh not soggy. Quite a long sandwich too for $7.99! I wanted s small side of potato salad but they don't offer that. They did have chips and pickles or cookies. The server at the window was very friendly and fast. I really enjoyed my sandwich! I'll be back!

So I waited a week before heading into this new sandwich shop today. First impression- WOW, it is small! Second impression- Wow, it is crowded with people standing all over the place waiting for their sandwich(es). Ordering was simple albeit a tad slow. The making of the sandwich isn't brain surgery and they had 3-4 guys at a small 8-10' counter making the orders. It took forever!! Now when I say the place was crowded there was a table of two and one of four. It took 10-15 minutes to make my sando. When I got home and opened it up I was unimpressed. Meat hanging out of the roll. I opened it up to see below average amount of shredded lettuce and un-ripe green tomatoes. I picked those off. I took one bit and thought, "this is all bread." So I cut off the bottom of the roll and ate it open face style. The sando tasted fine but had a poor meat to roll ratio. And for $9.50 I thought it was highly overpriced. And that was only the sandwich. No soda, no chips, no cookie. I'll continue to go down the block to Mr. Pickles where I can get 2 to 3 times the amount of meat, more produce, a better roll, and a FREE cookie.

Stopped by for lunch today for the new pizza sandwich. I loved it until I found the paper that rapped the meat. Inside my sandwich. Gross

Terrible service experience. Food was old and bread was dry. Not even half as good as subway.

We've been wanting to try this spot for a while, and since their other location is closed in Sacramento on Tuesdays, we finally made the trip to Lodi and wow, it was absolutely worth it the wait and Abdul that helped us was cool. He had a good sense of humor. We were coming back from Monterey and all of us were hungry. We ordered quite a feast: (3) chicken tikka wraps without lettuce 8 piece chicken tikka 8 piece chicken malai 6 regular naans + 1 garlic naan Tandoori fish order Tandoori chicken pizza Chicken tikka masala rice plate Every single item was flavorful, mouth watering, and cooked perfectly. The chicken tikka and malai were tender and packed with flavor. The naans were soft and fresh, and the chicken tikka masala rice plate had that rich, comforting sauce that was creamy smooth you can't stop eating and dipping your naan into. The tandoori fish was a standout smoky, well seasoned, and tender. They give a lot of meat inside the wraps. The tandoori chicken pizza... let's just say we couldn't even wait to get home. We ate a slice in the car because the smell alone was too tempting. That's how good it was. We took everything to go, the quality was top tier! You can tell they care about their food and flavors and wanting their customers happy. Abdul kept letting us know the status of our order and took care of us with chutney and ranch. If you've been thinking about trying Smokey Grill, don't wait.... this place delivers on every level! Ask for Abdul, he is down to earth nice guy. 5 stars!! Thanks Abdul!! Photos are attached

It's one of those classic spots you can rely on when you want something simple and done well. I am a little sad they no longer carry the turkey burger, because that used to be one of my go-tos, but the regular burgers definitely still deliver. I also really appreciate how clean they keep the place. You can tell they take pride in the property, and that always makes the experience better. Consistently good food, a classic local feel, and always worth stopping by. Don't forget to take in the view of Lodi Lake.

This place was small, with only a few table to dine in outside. We came into the window to place our orders. There were only 2 people working inside this tiny place (a young lady and the old lady who cooks the orders). Although the window was only separated by a screen door, I have to keep repeating my orders which only consists of chicken burger, curly fries, onion rings, 2 cheeseburger, and 2 drinks. It would help if she would take off her earbuds out of her ear so she can focus on the orders because she messed up names and orders of 2 more customers after us even though they repeated their orders and spelled their name multiple times. There was a bit of a wait, but when our food came, it looked ok. It was served on a food paper container. The cheeseburgers were nothing really to rave about. The fries were ok, but I would like if they had other options for toppings like chili or cheese. The chicken burger was the only one that passed our expectations. It tasted somewhat closer to the ones we were looking for so that was a plus. It would also be nice to have fans outside their area if you decide to eat it there since summertime can be hot. Focus on your customers, but if you decide to multitask (like having your ear buds on) make sure you pay attention to their orders, so you get them right.

This place did not disappoint. They serve mainly pork for meat options, different types of prepared pork and chicken is available. No pastor to be had. Sadly, no beef or Steak/Carne Asada either. They do pork very well, it was delicious. I ordered a super taco with Carnitas on it and a regular/street taco with chicken. They do not skimp on the meat portions. The actual Carnitas (shredded pork) on the super taco was grade A. Was not greasy, stringy, or crispy. It was tender and tasty. I could tell it was freshly made. They have three different sauce to choose from and all are above average. I got the green avocado salsa. This restaurant is sizable, and has a large seating area with a lot of chairs. There is a bar in the corner too, but nobody was sitting there at all. I'm thinking the crowds are packed in at nighttime here. The customer service was swell. Nothing negative to speak of. I want to give this place five stars, because I really did like the food. I won't do so because on a hot day, some ice in my drink was necessary. The fountain soda machine was not dispensing ice cubes. Nonfunctional. Not okay. Everything else was practically fine though. The price points are not low. Spendy menu items across the board. The store was very clean, with an atmosphere more welcoming than not. I'd return for more.
