Raleys no matter where you go will always have sky high prices. But it is lower than some other places i've been to. One thing I like about Raley's is that they are right around the corner and their customer service isn't that bad. They do have that wierd manager though that seems to bug the hell out of me every time i go there. read more

Bought 3 items: Knudsen cottage doubles in mango, and 2 hothouse farms protein plus chocolate shake. On my drive home I opened one of the chocolate shakes, it was curdled and sour, in short it was expired. I drove back and they exchanged it. After 2 hours I decided to eat the cottage cheese, it was expired by over 2 weeks! I don't usually check the expiration date because I trust the people working there check it, wrong. I don't even wanna bother going back. Raleys is an ok supermarket, just make sure to check the expiration date on everything. read more

I called the bakery to place an order for a birthday cake. Apparently for the last three years they don't take phone orders by phone anymore as cakes must be prepaid. Okay that's fine, However I have gotten cakes for my kids the last three years by Raleys Bakery. And I called in each order and paid when I got there. Strange...... Oh well as I need cake tomarrow and don't have time to go to the store to order I'm calling Safeway. read more

I downloaded Yelp just to leave this review. This place is the worst. The staff lacks common courtesies like "thank you" after you've purchased something. I waited in line to pay while I watched 7 employees just standing around instead of offering to help and once I'd payed I received no thank you or offer of assistance. The employees there seem entitled and bothered that you are there. I live around the corner and have gone there many times and have gotten used to the lack of competence but today was a true stunning moment of indifference by the employees. If I was corporate I would clean the proverbial clock from top to bottom and start fresh. read more

Thank goodness for Vacaville Raleys, Bren(sp?), and Jonathan!!! They saved my life tonight. My daughter was up coughing all night and we used the last of the cough medicine for her. After picking them up after a long day of work and school ALL of my kids fell asleep on the way home. I called Raley's to see if they had curbside pick up if I ordered online. I spoke to Bren and explained my situation to her. She sent out Jonathan to my car IN THE RAIN to ask what I needed so I didn't have to go inside. He found my car quickly and after discussing with him what I needed he rushed inside to find the medicine. They didn't have what I needed so this poor kid comes out with different types to see which one I wanted. I wasn't sure that they would be okay for her because they didn't specifically say "Children" so he went to go talk to the pharmacist. They suggested a great brand and Jonathan brought it out to us. I am so grateful for his kindness and patience with me as I tried to decide which one would be best while he stood in the rain. Thank you Jonathan, Bren and Raley's for hiring such wonderful people. My baby will sleep good tonight. They even drew this cute picture for her on the bag!!! read more

I was in the store on Saturday and just as I hit the meat counter I encountered a man pushing a baby stroller with 2 dogs as the occupants. One was a huge bulldog and the other one was a small breed tucked under the bulldog. Neither one was wearing a service dog vest, probably because service dogs don't have to be pushed around in a baby stroller. I don't think these were emotional support dogs either as they could have cared less if the man panicked, as long as they got their meat, and besides if you have to have to push two dogs around in a baby stroller to feel secure enough to buy groceries you may be better off getting your groceries delivered. read more

This Rayle's... I wish it had a better selection, was not so outdated, and had a more welcoming staff because its a more convenient location for me. My experiences: In the evening you will be required to use self check out, if you are buying beer they will ring you up, but both times I did so, I was treated like an inconvenience. The produce selection is underwhelming at best. On different days I have picked up rotten potatoes, avacados, and apples. The coffee selection is very limited- mainly peets, starbucks, or the rayles brand and there is only espresso whole beans offered by the Starbucks brand. The gluten free selection here just plain outright sucks- from pastas, to bread, to snacks. I have entered and exited the store in the evening using self checkout where an employee stands staring at you and the entire time not one word was said to me. In other words, my experience has been that the staff is unwelcoming and cold. The store is outdated and on the dirtier side, and the prices are just as much if not more than the Vacaville Nugget on most items- who offer far superior produce, a far better coffee selection, a clean setting, and welcoming staff. The staff from my evening shopping experiences definitely seem unhappy and the store seems lifeless and in need of major attention. read more

Normally shop at Lucky's and stopped at Raley's on my way to work Sunday 08/13/17. A co-worker had a birthday and I wanted to get her a little something. I was able to pick up what I needed and head to the check out where the lines were pretty long, even the express. Since I had a gift card I couldn't use self checkout. Cindy to the rescue! I had only about 5 items so she checked me out at the self checkout register. I was ready to wait in line, but worried about time. Thanks to Cindy I was quicky on my way. Than you for renewing my faith in the customer service at Raley's. I'll be stopping in more often. read more

First of all please allow me to say that I Love this store. My house is literally a couple blocks away and myself and my Family have been coming here since 03. Mike, Sal, Catrina, the whole deli and produce staff they are all amazing. Yesterday I'd gone to the E.R. and found out I've quite a large cyst in my abdomen, I'm in a lot of pain. I was prescribed meds to tide me over until I Am able to have it removed. With residual loopiness due to medication given me in the Emergency room I'd decided it was not best to drive on base to get my meds and thought Hey Raley's has a pharmacy. My Mom volunteered to go for me as it is painful for me to walk. I called ahead to find what all she may need to bring with her to pick it up for me. When I was connected to the Pharmacy, Rodney answered. I told him the situation and he sounded very irritated and told me I'd have to go to my own pharmacy to pick up any pain medication. When I asked him why, confused, he asked me what kind of medication, so I went to get my prescription to tell him and apparently my cheek hit the button on the phone as I was holding my prescriptions and had the phone on my shoulder. Rodney raised his voice obviously frustrated with myself or possibly the world I am unsure and told me I was pressing buttons in his ear and he couldn't hear anything. I told him, "That's okay, I'll just go somewhere else." And hung up. I then called Walgreen's and told them the same situation and they said my Mom just had to have her i.d. and verification of address. I then called back to speak with Rodney to try to rectify the situation because my Mom doesnt drive and I didnt want her walking 3/4 of a mile there and then back. I also wanted to know why he said I would not be able to pick up my meds from there. He said, "Well, I was trying to tell you, but you kept pressing buttons in my ear and then you hung up--" I was trying to speak to him to tell him, I didn't know, you know how these smart phones are plus I was dingy from my pain meds. I mean I have a cyst the size of a tennis ball in my abdomen. I don't know if it's cancerous or benign or what. So our whole family is a bit stressed right now, but still trying to remain in good spirits. Rodney, would not let me speak, so much so that my Mom (Jean) took the phone from me and said; "What's your name?" He said Rodney. She replied; "That's all I want to know." Then handed me back the phone. Rodney could be a nicer person especially in his role in Pharmacy hopefully he will be in the future. but we Love Love Love Raley's and everyone else! read more

I normally like to shop here, but had a bad experience with their meat department last week. I went in late, looking for some steaks. Found some top sirloins that looked nice, but turned out really tough. Guess I'll buy my steaks from another store next time. read more

Raleys you need someone from The Nugget to show you how a bakery should look and what to stock in your bakery! Your donuts areawful , the cakes are stale and you have NO good selections! I really like this deli the sandwhichs are good they use those long sliced pickles that are crispy.....they will put olives and cucumbers on my sandwhich.....At safeway your pickles are those lil flimsy round pickles and you dont get cucumbers or black olives and sometimes i catch them cuting one slice or cheese in half instead of just using two slices of cheese...... read more

I ordered a birthday cake to celebrate my father's 90th birthday. I brought the cake to PFChang's where we celebrated along with his brother and family who came up from San Diego/Chula Vista. I love this place. It's been here longer than any other supermarket in Vacaville. Their service is always great, and the cashiers are always quick and friendly. I love the fact that they hire ENOUGH people to bag your groceries, unlike Safeway, and they always have plenty of people working the registers, unlike Safeway. They still have self checkout lines, but I've never had a problem with them, unlike Safeway's self checkout lines. They have a pretty nice selection in their health food section, and I like eating at their Chinese food (kinda greasy though). I can't buy cheese there anymore because I bought some Brie there once with plenty of time left on the expiration date and it had a weird medicine/house hold cleaner taste to it. My guess is they didn't store it correctly and it probably went bad without correct refrigeration. read more

A big thank you to the pharmacist, Debbie. I stumbled in there to pick up brand new prescriptions after having oral surgery. Her and the assistant on duty that day were most kind and helpful. It was much needed and welcomed after going through tooth surgery. Thank you for explaining to me in detail about the mouth rinse and a huge thank you for verifying that I was allergic to penicillin before filling the scrip. read more

My husband and i love this store, especially the deli. The deli manager and Kirk have always been extremely friendly and helpful. Also, any time either of us have a question for the pharmacist he always goes out of his way to answer any questions and helps us to get the best item for our needs even if it something silly like a sunburn or canker sore. Not to mention all of the cashiers are quick and friendly. Overall great store!! read more

I recently joined Instacart to help stay out of grocery stores. I usually don't shop at Raley's because it's across town. I decided to try it since it was one of the stores I can chose from. My shopper (who had been very pleasant and courteous helping me find replacements etc) dropped the groceries off I took them inside and unpacking bag found hotdogs I had requested 5 of the 8 had ends that were turning a brownish grey. The Italian sausage was all grey. We called Raley's asking if they had curbside service I would drive across town to get these items replaced. This just threw this poor guy into a stupor. How can that be a problem? The next person I spoke to a woman in the curbside dept told me "your shopper shouldn't have purchased those items." Excuse me?? Did you lose all responsibility for the quality of your products I need someone else to shop for me? I will concede that she should've looked better at the meat, but really the responsibility is on Raley's! The clerk went to ask someone else and left me on hold. I finally hung up went to the instacart app found a place to make my complaint. They immediately offered to refund me the cost of the items. I will NOT shop at Raley's again. How disgusting to have gross meat on display and blame someone for picking it up! I guess they don't care. read more

Lack of integrity. Visited Raley's 3/28/16 looking for a special dinner. I planned on a surf and turf dinner. When I picked up a pack of frozen lobster tails, I was amazed what I discovered. The package had been re-labeled. The original label had a use by date expiring in February. They covered the label with one that expires in May. This is a dishonest business practice and a risk of public safety. I gave the package to the employees working, but I could tell they really didn't care. They were more concerned with me explaining to my daughter why this practice is appalling. read more

Chinese deli needs work. Prices have increased and quality and quanity have decreased. Orange chicken was almost all breading and broccoli beef seem to be made out of jerky, even though it was fresh. Allso found the chow main to be dry and sticky. We asked for sauce and were just given mustard. Dinners came with a chicken leg years ago and we really miss that too.
