I really love Sprouts. I don't shop here enough. Yet, it's a great place to grab lunch or a snack. Especially if you are on the go. They have a huge selection of prepaid items. Along with a deli made items. You can order items from the deli or have a freshly made sandwich. Which they have some great deals! Like being able to oder a sandwich starting at $4.99! Which is a great deal! Fresh and tasty ingredients. Plus, it's healthy and affordable. Which is always a great combination. The stores are always kept clean and it's like Whole Foods but with lower prices. The staff here tends to be friendly and helpful. The over all quality of produce and merchandise tends to be on the higher end. Definitely worth checking out. read more

I was running on empty after a long day of driving to and fro from different parts of the bay. This Sprouts was probably not the most robust you'll find. It did not have a self checkout and the selection was minimal (only one type of small trash bag and low candy selection) however the service was friendly and helpful and we were in and out quickly. Sprouts as a company is great for pantry items but tends to be only a last or local option for me, as their produce is not very fresh and their selection is smaller than either a Safeway or Whole Foods. If Trader Joes is known for their freezer section then Sprouts is where you come for dry goods. But that being said, I don't often use dry goods, so we were only able to pick up a couple items on our list at Sprouts before having to head to Target so we could call it a day. read more

The title of sprouts includes the words "farmers market." It is not. It is a grocery store. I recently bought some produce a the items were terrible. The pears I bought went over the hill in two days. I checked on where they came from administration ; they came from Oregon not Vacaville. Just like any other grocery store. Many produce items sat on the shelves even though they were over ripe brown and disgusting. The staff person I spoke to was very nice. I frequent this store a lot for things that I usually can't find at other stores. They always have plenty of my favorite seasonings in stock. This store is a little pricy but the quality of what you buy here is so much better than other stores so I don't mind spending a little more. The service is always great. The staff are really the highlight of the store, with their attentiveness to making sure customers find what they need. I have been to sprouts a few times now and each time I have gone I always get the friendliest cashier. Her name is ruby. She's always super nice and talkative, always tells me about the good deals that are happening right now and she makes me feel so welcome. I love her customer service, I also like how clean and organized everything is and all the health food they have and gluten free stuff is great too. I shop at Sprouts regularly and generally love the store and its selection. However, I've had witnessed repeated negative behavior by one of the managers (an older woman, I believe), who comes across as extremely unhelpful and disengaged. She often appears unwilling to assist customers and seems more interested in standing around than providing support. On more than one occasion, I've heard her respond to customer inquiries with inappropriate language--including using the word "shit" when asked about product availability or location. This is unacceptable behavior in any customer service environment. Everyone has bad days, but consistently unprofessional language and dismissive behavior are not okay. I hope another manager, or a regional management team will address her issue, as it detracts from an otherwise great shopping experience. read more

Sprouts in Vacaville is a breath of fresh air. The team are friendly and genuine. The store is well kept and organized. The Sprouts rewards program is Awesome and easy to use. Sprouts have great deals and prices. I like finding, what I call "Treasure Hunt" items that are on a crazy sale, markdown or discounted to make you happy. Lisa, Selena, Stacy, Cheryl, Ray Ray, Tiffany, RanJan and Antwone (I hope I spelled each person's name correctly) are the Sprout's family I see often. Excellent meats. Small portion servings for singles/couples. I don't have to freeze meats by portion. I can purchase weekly to have fresh meats to cook for my meals. Theres many health food choices. I can no longer drink my coffee without the Sprouts organic hazelnut creamer. Also, if you love chocolate covered raisins they are better than the popular candy shop brand...was buying two bags a week. And honestly their staff is the MOST helpful, friendly, professional of any grocery market in Vacaville. Their customer service is #1 and not one staff member but the entire staff is ALWAYS helpful, friendly, positive attitude, and professional. Not once but every time I'm looking for something a staff member recognizes me and not only ask to help but stop what they are doing to walk with me to find it. Walked in to the store, the first thing I hear is 2 employees complaining about someone or something within the store, next I walk over to deli and the clerk says you want something out of the deli case, not hello how are you, just a very rude tone, I said never mind I changed my mind, she said excuse my tone I'm just really busy, obviously to busy to wait on customers, then I went to get some milk and the dairy clerk was no help at all, again I felt like I was bothering him with a silly question, I know who the manager is at this store, she's very nice, but her staff sucks, oh the girl at the check out was the only one who was very sweet and professional , I won't shop at this location anymore read more

How is that there were three registers open with only about 2 guests per line yet it took 10+ minutes to finally barely approach the register?? Too much talking coming from the cashiers and way too little movement. If you can't have good customer service/hold a conversation and perform your job then just stick to performing your job. Wonderful experience at this location last week! Staff was so incredibly helpful and nice. Lovely gentleman named Steven assisted me in produce when I couldn't find the herb I wanted and offered me a sample of their sumo oranges. I was asked multiple times if I was finding everything ok. Very lively chat with a young lady with glasses and pink sparkles in her hair (I did not catch her name) about the jade succulent she was arranging on a table. I placed an online order for a prime rib roast. When I went to pick it up, the order was not ready. I waited 30 minutes for them to complete my order, which have should have been ready way before I arrived. When the rib roast was handed to me it was not prepared like it should have been. It should have had the bone cut away from the meat and string tied, but it was not. Found out the young man behind the meat counter was not a butcher and he had no idea how to prepare the roast. What I should have done was is not accepted or purchased the roast, but I did anyway. I will not place an order with Sprouts again. Yes yes yes! Ran in in the evening hours to pick up some eggs. I was warned to get just eggs because Sprouts is a great place to find that one extra item. Eggs happen to be in the far rear corner on the left and they are well marked high on the wall. Shopped for nothing else so I can't really comment on that- the eggs were competitively priced at $2.49 per dozen. Ain't nothin' wrong with that! They claim to be cage-free and I'm okay with that too. I really hope this place sticks around. Too many businesses have come and gone from Davis and this place may even be closer to Dixon. Positive I'll be headed back to this store for more goodies. Hooray for this new Sprouts!!! read more

This is a new store and it is as wonderful as all the other Sprouts stores. The produce was beautiful. I purchased Holiday grapes, which if you don't know how delicious they taste, you better ask somebody. Anyway, the meat looked fresh with grass fed, organic, and regular commercial varieties. They have everything you expect in Sprouts without the Whole Paycheck pricing. The staff was very helpful. When I complained about the bag purchase requirement due to a California law; they politely reminded me how harmful plastic bags are to our environment. Encouraging me to purchase reusable canvas bags as they are better for the environment. Classy move. I'll be back. read more
