I'm not against ebt just to let you guys know they take ebt. How on earth are there more McDonalds than Rallys? I'm a big fan of the seasoned fries! Seasoned Fries with anything can turn my day around in a heart beat. Unfortunately, in San Diego County Rallys are really hard to find and out of the way in some ghetto neighborhood. Foods good except u have to dodge the violent homeless people who demand you buy them food when you are stuck in the drivethru I'm not even saying asking or begging these people are bold saying things like u gotta buy some lady and her baby food cause they are homeless but there nowhere to be seen like the fact that I'm even eating at a Rally's I definitely cant afford to feed all the homeless. I ordered 2 of xl fry lovers among other things. The worker was holding both of the fries and dropped one of them on the floor. Another worker stepped in took the remaining fries and walked back to the fryer area. I could not tell what was happening, but when I got home it was clear. The woman that stepped in took the fries from one container and put it in two and passed it off as two. The containers were basically half full. UNACCEPTABLE! Best $11 dollars! Rallies knows how to grab my hungry stomach with their delicious burgers and fries! The combo is perfect. The juicy burgers and the fries that balance out the burger. The fries are one of the best things on their menu if you ask me. They are also not that expensive if you want the fries alone. Anything on their menu solo doesn't really cost much too. I would recommend getting the combos though. Those are the complete bestttt! Another thing on their menu that I would highly recommend is their $1 ice cream. I will NEVER go back to this location. Where do I start... I went thru the drive thru and ordered over $35 worth of food. I was missing part of my order: chicken sandwich, large fry and an extra ranch I was charged for. I called the same evening to explain what I was missing and that time has passed, everyone had already eaten their dinner and I just wanted the money back for what I didn't receive. I was told by the manager Erica that refunding food was against their store policy and that all she could do was replace the order... not even an apology for messing up the order. I contacted customer service, as I was not happy with ericas response. I waited for 2 weeks and didn't hear back so I contacted them again. They were very friendly and apologetic that rallys didn't get back to me; it wasn't even their fault but they made me feel like they were actually concerned of my issue and interested in helping to resolve my problem. Finally, the next day I missed a call from an unknown caller. I listened to the voicemail and I believe the name was Monica, the district manager. It was a quick message, with no apology on their end but simply stated that they were the district manager and they received the issue from customer service and they wanted to give me two free meals and to come in whenever. There was no contact information left to call back and most importantly, I specifically stated that food was not what I was interested in; all I wanted was the money back for what they didn't give me. So I had to call customer service back again and put another claim in. I also called the store asking for the store manager. A couple days later I received a call from Myra, the store manager. She apologized on behalf of rallys that all this happened. I know this wasn't her fault but It was relieving that she took responsibility for the issue, after all, This is her store to manage. I explained to her that I was only originally asking for the refund for the food that they didn't give me but after putting me through hell, I believe I was entitled the complete refund. She explained to me that she may not be able to refund the whole order but maybe she could pull off half and she would ask HER manager. She also apologized for her employee, Erica, telling me that it was against their policy to refund me for food that they never gave me and that she should have refunded me for the missing food. But, it was already too late for that. As a side note, I managed at a restaurant for over 10 years and being the position she's in as a general manager of the store, she has power to make the customer happy. But that wasn't the case. Myra was really nice, but still didn't fulfill my request for putting me through such a battle. In the end, Myra refunded me for partial order. I was so tired of battling with rallys. The company as a whole is very poor. From the customer service to the quality of the food. I will never return to a rallys again. read more

Went through the drive thru. Fries were cold, cheese on both burgers were not melted at all. Patty was cold and both burgers were so salty they were inedible. I just got off a 3 day fasting for health reasons and was excited to actually eat something and starving and this was disgusting. You know when you encounter those managers at places and you question why they're managers? I've dealt with plenty of those here. I came here for some ice cream the other day because I love their chocolate dipped cones. I ordered 2 chocolate dipped swirl ice cream cones for my friend and I and a swirl waffle cone for another friend. I know I specifically ordered a separate waffle cone because if I didn't say that I would've just said 3 dipped swirl cones. I got up to the cashier and I was handed 3 regular cones. I corrected the girl handing it to me and told her one was supposed to be a waffle cone. With attitude, she informed me she didn't charge me for that. I told her to go ahead and charge me. This cashier didn't know how to charge me 60 cents, so I overheard her saying she was just going to charge me for ranch. At this point, I had been waiting for a good 7 minutes. I go to this location pretty frequently, and I love the restaurant. The service is great, and I always receive great food. The only downside is the location on a busy street and not so great area. When I go to Rally's, I will get their fries. If you have never been to a Rally's, they are known for their seasoned fries. The first thing you should get is their fries. The burgers are great, but they are kind of typical to a Jack in the Box or nothing exactly too special. I will usually get their chili dogs. Now, if you've never been to a Rally's, it's more of a drive-thru based restaurant, so there is no indoor seating. There are tables outside where people can sit, but I would advise to skip that and eat elsewhere. It's not exactly in the best neighborhood. I wouldn't even advise eating in your car, either. I always see people sitting in their cars, not eating, but just hanging out. The other thing I would advise, is that I find the street to be a bit chaotic. This restaurant is right next to this grocery store that has a lot of people going there, and their parking lot is very small. People will park on the street, and exiting the Rally's parking lot can get quite annoying. Anyway, to recap, the food and service are both great, but I hope you're a great driver and will eat somewhere else. You must try this place at least once! Get their fries! read more

Best fry/burger combination of my childhood!... Rally's fries makes InNOut fries truly taste like cardboard. Fries are seasoned and taste like curly fries but arent mushy like Jack n Crack, just long and Crispy. OK I've been going to Rally's locations in San Diego since I was 8 years old. Every other location besides this one and the one in Chula Vista turned into a Burrito shop. Truly a diamond in the rough when it comes to cheap drive Ins. Oh how I wish there were more... I stopped tonight to get dinner before going home. I ordered 4 Rallyburgers, 1 small fry and 1 funnel cake fries. After i got home I realized they gave me 1 Rallyburger and a HUGE burger with 3 meat patties on it, the fries and funnel fries. I was a bit irritated that i had to go back but i needed the 4 burgers... NOT the huge burger. When i went back they told me they CANT remake my order and all they could do is to give me the bag i was suppose to receive I the first place... with all 4 COLD burgers in it!
