Loved the quality of the roast beef, Swiss cheese & rosemary bread. Added their hot chopped pepper relish on the #9 Club Supreme and it was good; but for wimpy-no heat-me I probably won't order it again, but it added a zippiness to the sandwich. Wow! The orders were fine, but the service was intense. Three employees, one gal on the grill, gentleman slicing meats and second gal making sandwiches and register. The gal making sandwiches was beyond stressed. She was not rude to customers, but you can tell she was struggling and on the verge of crying. The gentleman slicing meat would ask customers for their order when he clearly wasn't ready as he would ask again which just becomes annoying. if you're not ready just tell customers to give you a minute. The online orders were piling up and the store itself was getting busy. I don't know the team dynamics, but for that moment I didn't see much teamwork. I'm a huge fan of Jersey Mike's, we order at least three times per month for the last nine years. I never had a complaint until tonight. I ordered the same sandwich my son and I always share, this time it was wrong. I called to explain it was wrong, and the person argued with me. I explained I didn't want anything, no refund or free anything, just you should do better. Nathan then became indignant and said it was my mistake, not his, argued and hung up. Terrible review from me they are not welcoming at all the two girls there need to have better service. Whoever working that shit with the guy on the register charger me extra for two pieces of bacon. When the girl who didn't ask me anything and just stared at me put four little piece of bacon. I asked for more and they charged me 5 dollars extra. Only Jersey Mike's in Rancho San Diego could find a way to simultaneously take forever while also rushing you. They had about 5 employees working at the same time yet it still took me almost a half hour to receive my simple sandwiches. On top of making me wait unnecessarily, the employees had more attitude than a hormonal teenager, even though the employees were the ones making multiple mistakes. For example, they messed up my order and put things that I never asked for. They then tried to gaslight me into thinking I did in fact ask for those things. Although the employees are hostile to customers, they are very welcoming to bugs and insects! Many flies were buzzing around everywhere in this place. In the air, on the toppings that are used to make sandwiches, all over the tables and counters. Truly revolting - just like the workers' attitudes. There were more flies than actual customers, which makes sense considering how poorly this place is run. If the "Mike" in Jersey Mike's is a real person, he would be disappointed at the Rancho San Diego location for ruining his reputation. I respect their consistency and that they are so polite for working diligently on the DoorDash orders. Especially all the ladies there who are so nice and even let me fill my hydro flask at the fountain when I was really thirsty for water. the place is pretty chill and not too crowded. Very disappointed in our subs today. We ordered two subs on-line, both Mike's Way and some extra add ons. Each sandwich was given a name for id. When we got home, neither sandwich had names on it, and we soon discovered how messed up they were. The wrong breads were used and one of the sandwiches didn't have any of "The Juice" on it. I live in the area And hardly ever go into this place so I decided to try it and it was a mistake. After giving them my order I notice 2 flies crawling over a sandwich. I told them and the guy asked if they were on the bread or the sandwich I told him on the sandwich and he tossed it out. If I didn't call it out I guarantee he wouldn't have tossed it out. Updated review: Went in again today, same kid working. Apologized for the mistakes from yesterday's ordeal and the order today went smooth. Still disappointed in the amount they charge for extra bacon, but the sandwiches are really good. Overall, my experience today trumped yesterday's, so I'll give it 5 stars. The sandwiches here are really good, hence the 3 stars. However, if you want to add bacon, be prepared to be saying "WTF". They'll charge you for 5 pieces but will only give you ONE. If you ask for extra bacon, they literally put only ONE more on. Acting like chipotle being with their extras, lol. The kid who made my sandwich was brand new, i could tell. He made 2 mistakes right off the bat & I asked him to fix it before they advanced making my sandwich further. the last being that he put it on the wrong bread which I didn't see as I was paying. I visited this location today at around 12:30 and was the only one in the store. I ordered a Giant #56. Customer service was good, 4 employees all very kind, but the issue lies in the end result of the food. My name gets called and they hand me my sandwich and I thought "don't I get to put any toppings on it?" But at this point a couple and 5 construction workers have come and are in line ordering and picking their toppings and I had no time to stand back in line, as I work in the restaurant industry myself, and being on time is huge, so I left. $25 for a giant sandwich with meat, cheese, and very few peppers scattered around. I came into this Jersey Mike's location to place a catering order. My father had just passed away, so I was a little scatter brained at the time. I asked this friendly employee named Alicia to help me navigate through the menu. She was amazing! She knew the menu inside and out and was able to help me order the proper quantity and variety of sandwiches. Then, I asked if the location delivered. Alicia said "no", but went to confirm that with her manager. He said if we lived within a 5 mile radius (which we did), that for a small fee, they would deliver everything!! That was so helpful to me and my family. We didn't have to spend the day of my Dad's service, running all over town. Instead, we were able to spend time together, knowing that Jersey Mike's would come through. And, come through they did. The food arrived on time. Everything was Outstanding!! One thing I will say before I dive in any deeper, is that the guys who work at this location have top notch customer service. The sandwiches are good but if you order through postmates 4/5 times your order will be wrong. Always get the wrong chips (always) and some type of item left off I.e pickles , or the bread is wrong.
