My best friend and I went for dinner on Sunday evening. My first and last time going. After waiting about 10 minutes, a waitress finally acknowledges our table and says 'What are you drinking?' No introduction. She brings our drinks, then states 'Do you know what your ordering?' She sounds like she's forced to wait tables. We order and wait for our food. We started with onion straws, which were good, but the sauce was really spicy. I then get my order of six Sweet BBQ breaded chicken wings with an extra side of sauce. The sauce was really shiny and smelled weird. I took a bite and the breading was like crushed corn flakes. The sauce.....tasted and smelled like creamed corn. My best friend even smelled it and tasted it. The following day, I could still taste it and smell it on my hands even though they were washed MANY times. To top off all that, when I went to move my dishes, they were stuck to the table. My best friend tried to move hers.....same thing. My recommendation is to avoid this place. Was in Kenton for my nieces basketball game- we were hungry so we stopped here which was the biggest mistake. If you have all the time in the world, go there. This place was the slowest restaurant I had ever been to. But to top it off, the place will give you the absolute worst stomach ache of your life. Only thing good they had was the cheese wedges; 10/10. Everything else, no. The girl seemed to be the only waitress so service is very poor. We stopped in on a Friday night. The hours state they would be open till 11p and they were closed at 9:15p. I called and the person that answered stated that they were supposed to be open till 11 but "they" told her to lock the door, but she would open it if I were there. Which she did. We waited close to an hour with no word from our server for six wings each and a simple salad (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cheese). The Angry Peach wings had no peach flavor and were not at all spicy. The spice scale indicated they would be spicy. The Zesty BBQ were delicious and spicier than the Angry Peach despite the list indicating they wouldn't be that spicy (at least not as spicy as the Angry Peach). The ranch and blue cheese were very good. Our service was friendly but our server didn't check in with us prior to the meal or during the meal and she was not busy. This was one of the worst places I ate at 1 hr for chicken and 2 sandwiches that did not even need to be cooked for 30 seconds I mean I could have heated up chicken better in the microwave and the cheese still be melted the server was good and kept telling us how sorry he was for the wait but I got a Italian sandwich, I would not really recommend it made me sick only took one bite to relize the place was not good. I waited 24 hours to write this hoping my feelings might calm a bit - but no. The 2nd star in this review is for the staff. Every time I have gone to Ralphie's, the people working there have been excellent and the food very good. But the service leave, because of management and ownership, has been horrendous. Again - not the staff, they work hard and do a great job despite the apparent lack of support they must suffer through. Last night, over 30 minutes for wings, customers having to clean their own tables in order to sit down. People having to get up from their table and go to the bar to get their drinks. Wings were excellent. Please help this staff - training, support, leadership, etc. They deserve it. read more

I have been here a few times. 1 time as a dine in patron when it was first opened. 2 times as carry out. To me, I don't know if it's because I have actually experienced "bar food" that is really phenomenal then attempting to give this place a try... but the food is really unremarkable. The fries are gross. Limp little depressing strips of sadness on your plate. Burgers are overcooked and dry little pucks of despair stuffed into an oversized bun to hide it's shameful existence. I really don't understand why their parking lot is full, maybe I was just too sober to appreciate what they're serving as food. But really... I don't see myself going back any time soon again. we called in an order for close to $80 worth of food. After receiving our order discovered that the French fries we ordered were missing. So, we drove back 15 minutes to pick up our missing fries. After arriving we were disappointed to discover the "kids happy meal" sized order of fries waiting for us. We explained to the young lady waiting on us that we wanted a large side of fries and she told us that this is "all we can do for a side of fries". We tried to explain to her that we wanted fries as a separate order and not as "just a side". She didn't want to hear it and her attitude was take it or leave it, it is what it is. Just wow...half full restaurant on a Saturday night. Every time our waitress came to our table she just complained about how tired she was because she had been up for 24 straight hours for "no reason at all." This was being said to a table that has been at the local hospital every day and night for straight with a very sick relative. Asked her several times for refills and never received them. Finally had to flag down another server to get them. Saw several people walk out because they were never greeted or sat. We waited OVER an hour and a half for three order or chickens wings...which never came. In that time period we saw no other tables getting food either. We stopped here for dinner on Monday night while passing through on our 14 hour drive home from Chicago to Philadelphia. Libby was our server who could not have been more amazing then she was!!! Probably the best waitress i have ever had!!! We ordered wings,a pulled pork sandwich and a garbage bowl which were all fantastic!!! The manager on duty Scott was also fantastic and came to our table and apologized personally for the little bit of a wait we had. I don't get to Galion much, grew up here, moved to Chicago. Staying at Sleep Inn, decided Ralphies was close, I was alone, I'd go in. Place is part sports bar, part brew pub, metal sheeting of biker bar, but also family appropriate place. Nice sound level of friendly conversation, not loud. Got a Reuben. Really good, bread toasted perfectly, hot, taste great. Not a thick cut corned beef, sliced thin, but good quality. White wine, forget it, they don't know wine or the glasses it comes in. Next night late (9 pm) had family of 16 people ready to go to Wendy's, I took them all to Ralphies. They all liked the food, and my burger and red beer were great. Burger cooked just right, great flavor to beef, buttered bun, hot good fries. Service for 16 at 9 was hop to it, nice. Many beer choices, not crazy many, but many. You can sit in a booth or high top in the bar area, lots of tvs, or there's a room of tables in the back. Even clean but cold restrooms. read more

Came in with low expectations, I mean we were in Galion, Ohio. We ended up falling in love with our waitress Twila, who you could tell was a local. Personally, she called me "cuter than spotted pig in a pool of mud," which I assumed was good. The food was alright.
