When we decided we would take our business elsewhere, I asked to speak to the manager and when I told her she just looked away from me and shrugged and said "huh" like it was no big deal. She didn't apologize or make any efforts to address our concern or anything at all. Well, we waited an hour and they forgot our food. The waitress ignored us while serving food to other tables (with people who had come in LONG after we had). So we had to get her attention and ask her where our food was. She looked confused, went back to the kitchen, and then came back out with the manager. The manager wanted to comp us "half the meal". Went here with coworkers. Not a bad spot; it's decent. From the outside I thought it was a fast food spot but once inside it looked like a sports bar. The server was cool but she kept forgetting little things like keeping water filled and the requests for napkins and stuff like that. The food was pretty good. We had a great time visiting this Roosters. It looks like a fairly new location with a great atmosphere. We were able to order and get in and out rather quickly which was a plus for this particular visit. My usual is the Italian sub and it was tasty as always. Now my companion's order was incorrect and we had to wait while they corrected it. I was nearly finished with mine before it came out. That always makes for a bummer. Took forever to get waited on when we first sat down. I think this I'd the major downfall of hostesses telling yiu "sit anywhere you want" when you walk in. It's a sports bar / family restaurant with a focus on sports and chicken wings. You walk in and find joke print outs hung all over the walls, as well as, appropriately, rooster stuff. TVs hang just below the ceiling, all turned to sports channels, as you might expect. They pride themselves on their chicken wings and on a good day, you can see why - your wings are moist and smothered in the sauce you've chosen and that sauce is delicious. Dipped in ranch or blue cheese, or with no dipping sauce at all, the wings are a treat... But the bad days, oh they are terrible times indeed. On a bad day, your wings are woefully overcooked and under-sauced. And on an even worse day, it's all this plus your honey barbecue sauce, usually a perfect blend of sweet, savory and a touch of tangy, instead tastes like you've ordered ketchup wings. The wings were so tangy, just one bite and my whole face puckered up so severely that my date had to ask if I was okay. Just to make sure I wasn't crazy, I asked my companion to sample my wings and he too had a face puckering experience neither of us are bound to forget. And the service? It does not appear they hire male waitstaff, or females over 25, and you'll understand why that's not necessarily a good thing as you watch a gaggle of 19 year old girls go on about their boyfriends, their first apartments and what Audrey's doing with her hair this week while your mouth roars from the heat of your hot wings as your beverage glass sits empty for going on 5 minutes. For the first time since 2011, I left a restaurant without tipping but I simply could not bring myself to reward being completely ignored for a good 20 minutes on this particular day. Our waitress was in no hurry to refill our beverages, ask how we're doing, or even take our money after we waited and waited just to get our check to begin with. We finally walked up to the cash register to pay where we then had to wait another 5 minutes for our terrible server to ring us out because apparently only your waitress can ring you out. It was the worst of our bad experiences here and it wasn't even the same day we had the ketchup wings debacle. I guess we should've learned after that... That said, we have had good experiences here. Unfortunately at $35 a visit for just the two of us, we'd rather spend our money where the good experiences far out number the bad and we simply can't say that of the Roosters in Ontario. read more

Just got home and they messed up the order. They forgot my wife's order. There's no one inside and still messed the order up. We ordered a wrap, boneless chicken wings, regular wings, mushrooms (half of them ended up being mini corn dogs WTH ) and cheesy tator tots. No Tots $3.29. First time trying a restaurant during this lockdown and it didn't work. Just shut the doors until we go back to normal. At least then I would have been credited. What made this worse is we stopped at McDonald's around the corner and ordered two unsweet teas and a small coffee and they messed that up. She did however " Find it hard to believe" that our service was as bad as I explained. When I assured her, it was a terrible visit and we left and went to Taco Bell she got rude and snapped that she was refunding my card and immediately hung upon me. Nice environment. This was my first time visiting, I went on a Monday (yesterday) for lunch and had excellent service! Wings were super with lots of sauce. My server, Alexis, was very friendly and helpful in teaching me the menu and taking care of my needs. I could see she had many other tables but I did not feel neglected at all!
