I wish this location would Have a rewards program for frequent customers or atleast invest in the belly system because I love being rewarded for buying the things I love. The staff here is always super friendly and really have no complaints here just suggestions for improvement. The size for the shakes should be a little bit different. This location only has a regular sized shake ($5 and change) which seems like a small instead of a regular. They should come up also with different sizes rather then just regular. Our night found us at Ralph's after a beautiful and sunny day. When we arrived, there was a line out the door. It moved rather quickly and we soon were placing our order. They were out of cherry cola, but the nice guy helping us made us an ice with a scoop of cola and a scoop of cherry as a quick improvised flavor. We will return soon! read more

There are nice tables to sit at and it's one of the few places to have an indoors counter! The staff is so friendly and courteous, they let us try so many flavors. The water ices are a great option if you're looking to keep it on the healthy side. But then again, no one likes to keep dessert healthy! One awesome part of living in Long Island so far is the ubiquity of Ralph's Famous Ice. I have 3 locations nearby, two of which are on the way to work. And with working nights and having a very weird eating schedule, admittedly I've had creme ice at 6pm when I would technically be supposed to have breakfast, one of the benefits of working at night. So I have found myself stopping by, probably 3-4 times a week and have become well-versed in the flavors. I prefer the creme ices. I feel less guilty with the lower calories than ice cream and my lactard digestive system is happier. This Staten Island titan boasts, "So many flavors, so little time." Words that have never rang so true... However, these are the flavors that I firmly believe you should MAKE time for. Creme Ices: 1. (Holy) Spumoni! ...!.....! (pauses for dramatic effect between bites savoring the delicious flavors packed into each bite). 2. Mint chocolate chip -- I don't even life mint chocolate chip but accidentally ate my friend's cup and have been coming back for this flavor over and over again. Really delicious. 3. Pistachio -- With legit chunks of pistachio not just neon green food coloring. 4. Cookie dough --- The ice cream version is yummy, don't get me wrong. But the cream ice version is yummy and you can eat more of it with less guilt. Water Ices: The least amount of calories so you could have two if needed.Any of the fruit flavors are solid. But I prefer: 1. Cantaloupe -- Tastes like a bite out of a fresh fruit. Except even more refreshing since it's ice cold and this heat wave isn't getting any cooler. 2. Watermelon -- Good go-to. It's safe to say that the Coconut creme ice is my favorite (Caribbean Girl Swag! LOL). There is space outside to sit and enjoy. The parking lot is a bit small but that does not deter me from visiting. The employees are great, fast and have no problem providing samples to help choose a flavor. Ralph's as a franchise has good ices that will fix the ice craving. The issue here is that not all Ralph's locations are consistent at times with the flavors they have and certainly not the staff. This location is the better one vs the stony Brook location where the staff is just rude. So if you want to be treated nicely and enjoy what you order then this particular location is the one to go to it does get very busy in the summer read more

My wife and I decided to test out the trailer setup we have before a big roadtrip next week so we were coming from west islip.. we usually stop and this ralphs as we go to the Walmart down the street.. so we stopped in and bought a large and a quart of ices and a water.. had a great time... well the guy pete was outside and didn't like my parking job.. I didn't block anyone in and stayed out of the way... he got all annoyed and we didnt like that. considering I tipped and had a reasonably sized order and the distance we just came from to go to this particular ralphs it was not appreciated.. so we will not be going back. good news.. I have plenty of friends in the area that go here.. they wont be going here either now.. plenty of other ralphs and places to go.. I saw the new owner sign... not impressed.. but give the girls a raise they did great. read more
