Everything is fresh every day. I've been coming here for many years and I've never been disappointed. This is one of those old-school bakeries that I hope never leaves this earth. They do things the way it used to be done back in the day. Cookie trays and pastries, always stocked and presented with precision and attention to detail. The staff will always make eye contact and greet you as you enter and are happy to assist. They have a few tables and chairs set up for people to pop in for a few minutes and enjoy their feel for Italy. Shout out to the girl that helped me, who was so patient, and kept giving me cookies to keep Bruce occupied while ordering dessert to bring to my brother in laws for a barbecue at his house. My mom gave me the tip that after 3pm the donuts here are buy one, get one free. Definitely worth it because they are pretty darn tasty. There weren't many left because it was toward the end of the day, but they had the staples like a Boston crème and a crueler and a regular frosted which is what I had. The fam seemed to enjoy them as well. In all seriousness, this place has been here for a while, and there is a reason why they have stood through the test of time. Stopped in to get a Rainbow Cake for Thanksgiving. was told to come back later today as the baker said they should have them. I asked if I could order and pay in full and pick up after work . Over the last decade my family has ordered dozens of cakes for various types of occasions, never a deviation from the exact type of cake we order besides the writing on top. Our most recent order was for my brother's birthday. He didn't care what we ate for dinner, he didn't have a preference whether we went out or ordered in. My Brother's only request was the cake from Dolci Momenti. Sticking with tradition, the exact same order was placed. As expected with our lovely President and his Build Back Better plan, the cake was smaller than usual and the prices continue to rise. This isn't the end of the world, we've blindly supported DM over the years despite multiple mishaps because they were usually met with at least an apology if not a fair accommodation. Dinner is wrapped up, cake is served, the first slice is handed to the Birthday Boy and it's the wrong cake inside. Not only is the order wrong but of course it's something he doesn't eat. This may not be the end of the world but it was his only request and it should be a simple one to fulfill seeing as that's why you go to a professional bakery. We call DM and the employee's response is "oh, the owner isn't here." We ask for a call back. "No, you have to call back when they're here." No thanks, we had a good run. Next cake we're headed to Gargiulo's or Alpine. When you leave your business in the hands of teenagers I guess this is what we should expect. Thanks for the lack of any type of customer service, I'd almost rather someone tell me oh well deal with it vs blatantly ignoring the issue. Fantastic pastries. Very fresh with good flavor. All the usuals plus some fine tuning. For example the lobster tails came in custard or whipped cream. They had a raspberry cheese bear claw type dessert. Everything we got was a 10! Can't wait to go back. read more

Went there several months ago, asked for linzer tarts. Have purchased cookies and cakes from them before. The cake tart was stale. Called and stopped back, person at counter asked for a receipt, I had a box with several pasties. Was told they were fresh - they were not. With out receipt, nothing they could/would do. Bad answer. Absolutely fabulous bakery. Friendly helpful counter ladies. The pastries make your tastebuds dance. I don't go as often as I would like, because, well, you know..... I'll never find my dream guy with a 500lb butt & wine barrel belly passed out with powdered sugar around my mouth because THIS place would make you do that! It's that good. First time trying this bakery , and it's everything you can ask for !! They have a large selection of pastries and really good ice coffee ! It was a hard decision to make due to all the delicious pastries they had , but I went with a chocolate dipped jelly cookie and an ice coffee , both were so fresh and delicious ! The young girl who served me was very nice and I felt bad I couldn't leave her a tip on the credit card slip . However , this bakery is amazing and they have coffee flavored ice cubes that do not water down your coffee like regular ice cubes do ! Such a smart idea . Bought a box of cookies and the girl behind the counter was so sweet, I mentioned that I didn't remember the names of some cookies since I moved from NY 28 years ago and where I lived didn't have local bakery's (Chesapeake, Va and now Bradenton, FL) only supermarket bakery's. She was so kind when I just pointed and the number I wanted. She mention that they may open a bakery in Tampa or Bradenton. Please put me on the email list when they do move here. Maybe it was just not a good time to go to a bakery (Sunday early afternoon), but everything we ordered was bad. The Rum Baba was dry (how can something rum soaked be dry), the sfogliatelle stuffed with cannoli cream was DRY (cannoli cream dry means it's old), the savoiardi cookies were very stale and had been refrigerated and were guess what, DRY!! The mini Napoleons were, one guess!! I've heard such good reviews about this bakery but either we are spoiled ( from Brooklyn) , was just a bad day (Sunday?) or this place is just lousy. I went to this bakery in order to get a birthday cake for one of my coworkers. When you walk in, there's a wide selection of breads,cakes, and pies. I asked the person behind the counter to explain what was in each one of the cakes. Some of them are obvious (like the carrot cake) others not so much. I ended up with the cake with the cannoli filling. How can you go wrong with cannoli filling? She wrote happy birthday on the top of the cake and I was on my way. The cake was good.
