Awful. Just awful. I ordered a cake with Happy Brithday on it. I ordered online to be picked up the next afternoon. I went to pick it, the women said they had no order. 3 hours later, get an email that the order has been cancelled. When I was there, I bought a visa gift card. They printed out an activation code on a reciept that was so faded, almost unreadable. It was CLEAR that the ink in their printer should have been changed a few days ago. It's Ralphs, so you know what to expect. I roamed around [07.08.2026] for about 20 minutes, with several staff members passing me & no one asking if I was looking for something specific (I was). So, pretty rotten customer service there. I was shocked to see that a door clearly marked as an emergency exit with a big "DO NOT BLOCK" sign on it was ... you guessed it ... blocked. So, pretty rotten safety and security. I had a minor issue at the self-checkout & the young man who was there was helpful and non-judgmental, always good. Service has improved a lot, store organization needs to improve, specially rotation of products, FIFO (First In First Out). Many times I have had to let the cashier's know about expired food products. I actually purchased fresh cut fruit last night, couldn't wait to get home to have at it, but to my surprise it was spoiled, tasted funny, very disappointed. As I mentioned earlier the service has improved, employees are very friendly. Sorry for the negativity... If I could give Zero Stars , I would !!! Placed an order for a cake through the website that says I should receive an email confirmation from the store soon. A few hours later and there was still no email so I called . I called over 10 times throughout the day to get in contact with someone there, but nothing . No one answered the call!! Next day (day of my event) I called and miraculously get a hold of someone on the phone And they say , ohhh the person in bakery is at lunch , they will call you back . Received the call back and the girl on the phone says "ohhh, I see it but it was never confirmed." Anyway, she told me she would work on it and the cake would have to be picked up by 1:30 pm. I sent over my daughter and when she got there, the girl says "ohhh, I just dropped the cake." So my daughter just stood there in shock and called me . The bakery person told her "well , I can make another one but won't be done til later this evening " WHAT ?!? HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Fabby the self checkout girl, no smile and when you talk to her, ask for help, she doesn't even acknowledge you. When you say thank you, no acknowledgement. She needs either more customer service training or to leave the service industry if you really dislike your job that much. I left one Ralphs because of one guy on the self checkout was the bag police and the other was like her, miserable no smile, no acknowledgement when you speak to them, just miserable. My cashier tonight David may have restored my faith in Ralphs. I normally don't go in the store but I had to get one item for a recipe and eggnog so off I went into my local Ralphs. I had some issues with my app as I was trying to "clip" an ecoupon for $2 off. I tried once before and the interface was too difficult to navigate but David helped me and was very courteous and patient with me as he checked me out. I stopped shopping there about a year ago because the quality of workers has tanked. But I had to get something quick and thought I'd give it one more try out of convenience. Everyone looks one step above homeless and they're all super pissed off to work there. What an environment. I stood waiting, and ringing the bell a few times, for someone from the meat department to come out for 10 minutes. So I had to go to front and get the manager to call him. This is my go to grocery store when I need something. I never had any issues while shopping here and I always find what I need beside red plums. I like that they also have a deli where you can pick up some healthy turkey breast and a butcher if you need red meat. They also carry the only brand of coconut water that I like to drink from. This store also has about 12 self check out station which help get you out of the store faster, just remember that certain item are not allowed at the self checkout station like alcohol unless there someone who can help overwrite it. There plenty of parking here as well if you come and the homeless people who use to be set up on the sidewalk are gone now. read more

This might sound funny but I surprisingly love Ralphs fish sandwiches.They are priced at $2.50 but from 11am till end of lunch they're only $2.00 Please understand that Ralphs actually orders these fish sandwiches from their warehouse and they usually run out of fish sandwiches the same day. Unfortunately they only order fish sandwiches in bulk every 2-3 days. Most Ralphs locations run out of fish sandwiches fast and this is why I purchased ten fish sandwiches. I know some might say I purchased too many fish sandwiches, but like I said they are hard to locate and I shared these sandwiches with my close ones :-) Also I want to mention the most Awesome!!! staff member by the name of Gina who works in the deli. Gina made it happen for me and made sure I was able to purchase ten fish sandwiches like I requested and she made the fish sandwiches for me and they were delicious plus she showcased excellent customer service. Actually happy with this market. They always keep the shelves stocked and will order anything that we need. Employees are helpful, when you can find them. Managers all have a pleasant attitude and are gracious and helpful too. Like the little seafood section they have available. Sometimes they stock things that the other Ralph's don't have. This was "our grocery store" for almost a decade. Recently they have switched to entirely self checkout. We just stopped by to do our weekly shopping at 10am on a Sunday and they had ZERO cashiers available. The produce department was not being kept up with and very package of their strawberries were rotten (there were only 8 of them). This was our last trip there. We said goodbye to our favorite employees who have watched our son grow up and left our mostly empty cart on an aisle to head to a grocery store that actually has food and employees. There's never a long wait and prescriptions that aren't ready right away take about 15 minutes and they'll call your phone number when it's ready. You can do your grocery shopping while you wait, how convenient! Marianne and Debbie are the best pharmacists. They're so knowledgeable and friendly. Since I've been coming here for so long, they know me by name and have my prescription all ready to go. Kristen, the pharmacy tech is super sweet and very helpful as well. I recommend calling your prescription ahead of time for convenience. If you're out of your prescription, they can contact your physician on your behalf to refill. read more

Got into a hit and run by one of their employees today 2/3/2021. As I was exiting the parking lot heading out on Devonshire, a guy in a silver 2016 Nissan sentra rear ended my car. As I stepped out of the car to see the damage and obtain his insurance info, I could smell his car reeks of weed and he apparently just got off his shift at Ralphs as it was 5pm and I clearly saw his Ralphs black apron plus he admitted working there. I went back and spoke to the store manager and notified her that I did file a police report since I took pictures of his car/License plate before he fled the scene. Need to review cameras. This Ralps is Horrific. There are Zero Checkstands Open. You have No Choice but to use the Self Check Out where you bag your own groceries with ZERO HELP. This community has MANY SENIORS that do not have the ability to bag their own groceries, least of all carry to the car. The Managers are rude, and do not care about customers at all. However, they LOVE their beverages from Starbucks as they all are carrying a cup at all times! It is always horribly understaffed, and you can be guaranteed that you will have a long line to wait in with just one or two registers open even with 10-20 people waiting to check out.
