Aisles are tighter than usual. They had a wine cellar , don't know what that means. Perhaps they have a bigger selection than urn most ? Can't say, didn't view any alcohol. Overall clean and stocked up. Got a few things and left quickly. read more

This trader Joe's is very busy in the parking is very hectic but other than that, they have the best customer service here and fully stock at all times. I came here the other day to get some sweet cherries, and first I had called the store and the person that I was talking to I believe his name is Richard, was amazing. He had really good customer service and was very professional. The store is always very clean, and they always help the customers no matter what and willing to go to the back and check for you. Pit Stop during my drive home to San Francisco from Long Beach. Dependable Clean Bathroom, and was a great shopping option to pick up several liters of .99 Flavored Sparkling Water, and a selection of nibbles / snacks that included a 12z Bag of Pretzel Sticks. I like this Trader Joes location in the San Fernando Valley. The only problem I have with it is the parking structure. It seems like a cluttered location kind of boxed inside with Jack In The Box nearby next door. I stop by here once in while when I am in town visiting my mom and pop. Store is organized and clean. Staff are real cool and helpful when a customer needs assistance. It always a pleasure to visit. I will continue to visit. read more

One of the smaller Trader Joe's. The store is tidy and well stocked, but it can be hard to navigate with the narrow aisles. As you would expect from Trader Joe's , this location has a good variety from fresh produce and quality meats to frozen meals and unique snacks you can't find elsewhere. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the checkout process is usually smooth, even during peak hours. The majority of the items are organic and if you need gluten free, vegetarian, or kosher selection you will find it. They really have efficiency and customer service down here. read more

Usually, ALL trader Joe's markets have great item selections. Produce is organized, most associates are friendly. 2 things about this store, that I will rate them lower. 1. As I was trying to select some lotion, there was a female individual stocking & socializing with another female associate. The associate stocking, looked at me, as if I was intruding her space. 2. I wouldn't suggest customers buy their sushi selection. I purchased a vegetable combination wrapped in rice. The rice was hard, date was still good. My fiance goes here all the time because she can't get enough of this place. I'm more of a Ralph's guy but whatever I tag along Today we got some groceries and I figure I'd get my bread there so that I can have some toast with my coffee right when we get home I get home and idk why but my fiance decides to check the bread and sure enough there's a fly inside just living his life in an all you can eat bread Buffett Anyway, check ur bread before you it or you might throw a fly back without even knowing it Picture for proof. My very first Trader Joe's in L.A. and L.A.'s San Fernando Valley way back in 2010. The kindness, the warmth and the selection have not changed one bit. The outer appearance has gone through some beautiful brightness updates compared to 15 years. They did an amazing job during 2020 and continue to delivery incredible TJs bliss any and every trip. The parking lot is shared, in the Granada (Hills) Pavilion parking lot with Planet Fitness, Furnsaj Restaurant & Bakery, Jack in the Box, Chase and a few other businesses. While the lot is spacious, this location is directly next to gas station making it very traffic heavy at times, but there's spots in every direction. I recommend parking away a bit, especially if you don't mind getting some extra steps in. It's definitely on the more boutique/smaller side of Trader's, but they've got all your essentials, including quality produce. I popped in here a lot more between 2010 through 2016 and when I'm in the area I try to stop in here. Classic hours, 8AM to 9PM, seven days a week with variations for holidays as like any TJs they value their customers, but even more so their employees who make it great. read more

August 2026 on a Monday during afternoon rush: I was told in a stern direct tone By Mary to place my bags on the counter. She pointed to the three grocery bags I had in my cart, and then pointed to the far end of the counter as she told me to place the three grocery bags I brought with me on the counter. This had never occurred before. I had never been asked nor directed, as she did, to place the bags from the cart onto the counter so at first I thought she was a germ-a-phobe and did not want to touch my bags. But that was not the case because after I had placed them on the counter (I simply placed the bags on the counter knowing it is not worth to point out the obvious to a cashier who does not follow common sense customer service or niceties) she grabbed and touched each bag to bag the groceries. Here's my point: companies need to realize that everything is expensive; prices have increased for all goods! Therefore, consumers have the liberty to be far more selective of where they choose to spend their money! AND some, I hope many, will choose to spend it at those establishments who go out of their way to exemplify superb customer service. Bad customer service. read more

I think this is my favorite location. All the staff is polite and they move quick. Lots of choices and variety of things. When you walk in the flowers are right there then the produce. Trader Joe's got some fresh produce! Great things to make charcuterie. Frozen isle has some great stuff too. I love how it's so welcoming when you walk in. Everyone's so upbeat. I visited this location last night, but it was overwhelmingly packed, from the parking lot, to the actual store. Possibly due to the new launch; today they had launched new limited edition lunch bags and there was a line forming outside the store. Once I found out I could bypass that line, I made it inside, however, there was a full house tonight. Glad that my list was short so I quickly got my items and stood in line. I am grateful that the cashiers do acknowledge who is next in line and so that was a plus for me. Sometimes it can be unclear as to where to form line to pay, nonetheless, the staff member flagged me down to assist me. Awesome! Thank you Trader Joe's Staff!! read more

Trader Joe's is the best Grocery Store. Their selection, their proxies, their service all on point. Their stores are always super clean and they carry healthier options at prices lower than most other grocery stores. Highly recommened. This location is on the smaller side, but it has everything you want and need. I do like this location along with any other Trader Joe's, but this one has some stuff that others locations don't have. They have a wine cellar and a cool little "Welcome to Granada Hills" sign above the produce. Other than that, this location has the same great items as all the rest. You can never go wrong when shopping here. The only complaint is the parking lot. I appreciate the many workers that keep the flow of customers. Besides that, everything on shelves are about 85% stocked, but hurry during the holiday seasons as they sell out quickly. For the most part, they train their employees to be friendly and make small conversation. I'm noticing a new crew coming in these days so I hope the customer service continues. read more

Yes, one of my go 2 grocery stores!!! I find myself coming in at least once a week for their perfectly ripe bananas, fresh almonds and nuts, creamy garlic spread, and a great selection of wine and yogurt. Their dog treats are a staple in my cart, and I can never leave without grabbing some of their delicious cookies. Although I prefer to stay away from their meats because if you look at the source... we'll just look for yourself. . One thing I really appreciate is how efficient the store is. The lines move fast, and the cashiers are always friendly, making checkout a breeze. However, ever since the new gym opened up nearby, it feels like the store is more crowded than ever, which makes navigating the aisles a bit of a hassle. Parking has also become a challenge, and on top of that, there are no restrooms available, definitely inconvenient if I need a quick break while shopping. What I do like is that mostly all Trader Joe's look alike and have items in similar isles with its ambiance. Trader Joe's remains one of my favorite places to shop, thanks to its quality products and great service. But if they could solve the parking situation and add a restroom, it would be even better! read more

As I was driving in to the parking lot of Trader Joe's, I saw cases of water left out in the sun. I took a picture and showed it to the store Manager. I explained to him what will happen. when leaving the water in the sun. He said the store is small And there's no room to put the water when rearranging the inside. He said the water is placed outside at 4 AM to 8 AM and from 2 PM to approximately 6 PM daily I looked at him in disbelief. Again, He said the store is too small and there's nowhere to put the water When rearranging the inside. Consequently I encourage and advise everybody reading this review to stay away from the water sold at Trader Joe's in Granada Hills. read more

I'm giving this review because their management is so inconsistent. I'm 46 years old. I'll come in to buy a bottle of wine and 90% of the time they don't card me and then I'll get some random person who refuses. I'm not complaining about rules. I get it. I bartended in this valley for over 15 years. It's just I clearly look over 35, and they're absolutely not gonna get in trouble for selling me a bottle of wine. Plus, if they took the training from LAPD, they would understand there's no issue. Having said all that, I respect most rules, and I believe in the right to refuse service. I just wanna complain about this. Get your act together and be consistent. The issue is consistency. read more

This is my second time to visit this location. Trader Joe's is not my go to place unless my client ask me or my daughter. Last night I came around 8ish. I can tell the store is busy since the parking lot is full. That's understatement, upon entering, inside is like a zoo. Elbow to elbow with other shoppers. I felt claustrophobic so I zoomed through the store to get what I need. I found the items speedily since the store is smallish. Cashiers are quick and efficient so the line went swiftly. Gotta love Trader Joe's...right? For many reasons this is my favorite location. Not only it's the closest one to my house, it is also located in a big parking lot and you will always find a spot. Yes! it's smaller than other locations but it is always well-stocked. Located in Granada Hills on Balboa Blvd. right across the street from Target, customer service is great and a lot of the employees have been there for a long time so you will always see the same friendly faces. The wine selection is what I love the most about TJ's. You don't need to spend a lot of money to get a quality bottle of wine. My favorite one right now is the "Bousquet Malbec". As we all know TJ's routinely discontinues items in order to launch new products and make space on shelves. I always get super sad when my favorites items are gone, some of them are seasonal but other ones completely disappear FOREVER, my recommendation is enjoy while you have it and/or buy more than one. Some of my favorite items are: wine! the super seedy cheese snacks (I bought like 10 bags), chili sesame oil, Japanese style fried rice (this one is the best), mushroom and black truffle pizza, the holiday cream liqueur drinks like the "Ginger bread" and the "Peppermint" are also to die for. Super small and always super crowded. Lines are sometimes long but go by quickly. They have THE best deals on everything! From produce to wine. They also their own brand (we love their dark roast coffee for espresso). The cashiers are always super friendly and helpful. One of my go to places for groceries. They also have cool indoor plants and great prices on flowers. Really wish they would expand for more space in between those super tiny aisles! Can never go wrong with Trader Joe's! Surprisingly been coming here only recently but I wish I started coming here sooner! Their frozen food are top tier and they have fantastic snacks. My family and I are obsessed with the Everything Bagel Seasoned Crackers but when we went last night, they were all sold out! We even checked another location beforehand and they didn't have it. Super bummed but the nice young lady worker told us they were getting a shipment in as we spoke so we decided to just come back another day because we were unsure how long it would take. I must say though, it is a little difficult to find things at times. Not sure if it's because I'm unfamiliar with the market or just the way everything is laid out for the customers. My wife purchased groceries here on 12/9 and we will NEVER return to this location. My wife came home confidently that she had all her groceries in the cart. $100 WORTH OF GROCERIES. And we came home realizing a FULL BAG was missing. We called the store at 8:50PM and we were told that basically too bad, and that we had to come another day since they were closing soon. Not only that, but the fact that they blamed my wife for their incompetence is appalling, telling her that "it was nobodies fault because accidents happen." There is something wrong with their fruit that is cut up. Cantaloupe and watermelon both taste weird. I bought it yesterday and through it away this morning. Watermelon especially taste and texture is like it was moldy. This location is always fully stocked and ppl at the register are nice but I blame the food. Not fresh. I always judge a Trader Joe's by it's parking because it can be a nightmare. Thankfully this location, since it is in a plaza has very spacious parking. It can still be hectic, but more manageable. Once inside the store, the aisles are fairly sized and they are stocked with the basic TJ items you are looking for and those you aren't looking for as well. The lines can get long, but the staff is quick at the register. read more

This feels like a smaller than usual Trader Joe's. And I feel like that is saying something. At least they make up for it by having it be somewhere with more than ample parking. That alone makes this location one of the more desirable TJ's for me. Because of the size, I do feel like often they don't have some of the items I am looking for, but that's fine. I usually just come to TJ's for snacks and other non-essentials so if I can't get a bag of chips or a chocolate covered whatever, it's probably for the best. As with all TJ's, staff here is incredibly friendly and helpful. Their customer service is something all other grocery chains should aspire to be. I have never had anything but the best experience interacting with anyone who works here. read more

ONE STAR, Im updating my original review on trader joes, and the only reason im giving it 5 stars is is because my original ONE STAR review will get pushed to the bottom and it seems that action was not taken against those young men that my review was about so here i am leaving it AGAIN, As a mom of two young children, I'm incredibly disappointed and disturbed by my recent experience at Trader Joe's to the extend that I felt the need to make an account and leave a message here. I came into the store around 4 PM after picking my kids up from school, expecting a quick grocery run. Instead, I was met with vulgar language and inappropriate conversations from a group of young, male employees near the front of the store. Not only were they openly using profanity, but I also overheard one of them making disrespectful comments about customers -- while customers were in earshot. It was uncomfortable, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable. My children even asked me what certain words meant... something no parent should have to deal with in a grocery store. This kind of behavior creates an unsafe and unwelcoming atmosphere, especially for families. Trader Joe's usually prides itself on friendly service, but this experience was the exact opposite. I truly hope management takes this seriously, because I will not be returning unless clear changes are made. read more
