Ended up with a signature brownie sundae and chocolate dipped cone for $13. Note: they are cash only. The coating on the cone was not as good as DQ and probably wouldn't order again. Originally asked for a Dole Whip and was told they didn't have them yet but would soon. Loved the couple of tables outside but wish there was more and they were cleaner. I love Ralph's Italian Ices! This location has nice workers and outdoor sitting. My favorite sundae here is the hot fudge brownie sundae with Mississippi mud ice cream. It's so DELICIOUS! My favorite cream ice flavors are pumpkin, chocolate chip cheesecake, peanut butter & jelly, and jelly ring. Their ices are a million times better than Rita's! Their doughnados are amazing too! The best are the birthday cake and Reese's pieces cookie dough. The menu here is extensive. I highly recommend Ralph's Italian Ices in Hazlet! read more

They are always so nice and generous for what they do. Their service is incredible to everyone they serve. I love their ice cream and their sundaes. First time to a Ralph's. CASH ONLY! They have so many flavors to choose from!! I ordered a medium with watermelon and mango. Both very good! The mango even had pieces of fruit in it. The medium for $4.50 was plenty big! The woman that helped us gave us a little bit of vanilla for my pup which he absolutely loved! **3.5 STARS* While i do feel it is difficult to rate an ice cream place, compared to where I typically go for ice cream, I would visit Ralph's primarily if you plan on getting solely Italian ice. When arriving (a sunny Saturday around 6:30 P.M.,) there was no line, which was great! Something that was not really incredibly off-putting to me, but worth noting, is my father and I stood there for about five minutes as they employees talked to each other before taking our order. (We knew what we wanted the whole time.) Once we were met with service, the server was friendly, but his attention was still on his colleagues and the conversation they were previously having. Ralph's is conveniently located off the highway and does have late hours, which is a plus for many! The outside is newly renovated, and there are a few tables, but not too many. There is also a convenient parking lot and a plaza next door too with other food establishments. While I have gotten both ice and ice cream here, their menu is extensive. Ralph's should be commended for their large amount of ice flavors! In addition, they offer sundaes, premade ice cream bars, and edible cookie dough based ice creams, etc.. It is important to note that their ices typically have whatever flavor they are inside of them (ex: cherry has pieces of actual cherry. I prefer this personally.) Previously I have had a hit or miss experience with the ices in terms of being freezer burnt. (I attribute that to having so many flavors.) My biggest complaint here is their sizes for their prices- specifically for ice cream and a shake. I received a medium cone, which seemed more like a small compared to other local places & my dad order a large shake, which was in a typical sized plastic cup. We both felt the portions could have been a little larger for the pricing. (No problem with the pricing, if it was a little larger.) Due to that, we would stick with ice moving forward- as I feel their ice portions in a cup were typically larger. Omg! So happy I discovered this spot, but not happy with the future amount of calories I'll be packing on due to all the goodness haha. Stopped near to get my nails done and needed some cash, and stopped at the ATM located outside (Ralph's is cash only). I couldn't help but treat myself, especially after seeing the peanut butter "dough-nado" on the menu. That thing is a killer. Perfection in a cup, literally! The cookie dough was so good and made a great combination with their delicious soft-serve. Legit came back the very next day for more and will continue to frequent here now that I've discovered this gem. I finally found an ice cream spot I prefer over Cold Stone! I've never visited Ralph's before, but my family loves their iced. We finally got to make a trip to pickup some Ralph's and it was so delicious! Their malted shakes are soooo good, I'm still thinking about it days later. The flavors of ices we got tried were: lemon (so good), coconut (has coconut flakes), chocolate, mango (has fruit pieces), and sugar-free cappuccino. The cappuccino was so tasty, and I couldn't tell at all that it was a sugar free flavor. Covid notes: All customers and staff are wearing masks. They have some cute tables in the front of the shop for people to sit and enjoy their ices. Customers are respectful about social distancing in the line. read more

Love this place! Best ice cream in the area. Forget Carvel, DQ or Baskin Robins. This is the only go to for anything cold or frozen. I love their shakes, $5 and it's delicious. The rainbow cookie milk ice is a hidden gem. Just get it. They even have ice cream dog bones for the pups! It's cash only btw and they need a bigger location. read more

Best Italian ice around! Deliciously consistent. Most are gluten free. Add some vanilla custard to your ice for an extra special treat. Everyone is so nice and patient even when you walk up with a party of 10. Just wish the town allowed them to have an area for seating. read more

Really nice ice cream. They are open pretty late by comparison to other ice cream shops in the area, so they have my business by default cause I eat ice cream late..lol Lots of flavors to choose from, lemon ice is my favorite! Price is average for an ice cream cone. Staff is always friendly and patient. I'm definitely there far too frequent in the summer months. read more

I'm kind of annoyed! There is no sign saying that they don't take card and the server didn't tell me they don't take card until after she filled the order. I had to use the atm to get cash. The ice was good but also expensive. read more
