Ralph's is a great grocery store...it has great deals and good prices. We got some produce and the selection and prices were excellent. People working there seemed very friendly and very helpful. This one has ample parking since it is in a private strip mall. Being so closed to downtown PS, it is an easy stop for people to get some goodies for their homes, hotels or trips. read more

By far the worst customer service from a pharmacy I've ever received and by the supposed manager Shane. He proceeds to tell me he hasn't checked the messages since he arrived (where my doctor called In my prescription and left them a message) and told me wouldn't and to call back later. This is exactly what you want to hear when you're in pain and from the manager of all people. Shane made it very obvious he doesn't really care about customer service so do us all a favor and let someone do the job who will take it serious. Okay this is my first go-round at rating a grocery store but it's the only place in town you can actually go inside and be near food. This Ralph's has everything you want or need and then some. In the PNW they do not have grocery stores on this scale. The Meat Dept, Deli, and Bakery are excellent. I could not believe the dairy case was about 60 feet long and held all you will ever want. Prices were markedly cheaper in PS than at home in cold, nasty Seattle. The liquor shelves were stocked aplenty and prices much less than our over-taxed liquor items in WA. I haven't lived in CA for 20 years but Ralph's was a most welcome sight. read more

Wow I know we are going through inflation but compared to other stores in my area they have raised their prices through the roof on so many products I get a nose bleed just walking into this store . They have no protections for people who are immunocompromised they have removed all the plexi glass and containers of hand wash not to mention they customer service is in the toilet . Absolutely terrible manager guy with beard! Never got such a terrible customer service. He send me with return to the line , he has bad attitude not listening. And yeah when I arrived to the reception he was rudely doing something else and pretending not noticing that someone is here. Please fire this guy he doesn't deserve this position at the store. Not the best pharmacy in Palm Springs. I went to pick up my spouses Paxlovid on Wed. 11/15/23. My spouse has been using this pharmacy for some time and has insurance. I was told the out of pocket cost would be $1400.00. At that point he called his insurance company. They suggested having it transferred to CVS the preferred pharmacy. I drove to CVS and it was ready with a cost of zero dollars. They stated the drug is free to everyone. I spoke to the lead pharmacist today 11/17/23. He stated someone must have put it through without the insurance. I didn't get an apology or anything at all. I didn't appreciate having to drive to CVS in the dark plus a thunderstorm and rain. First class operation. The produce is excellent, the shelves are stocked improbably well for a country with logistics screw ups floating off-shore, and the staff is quite knowledgeable. Was shopping in Ralph's today - 7/17/20 - there were several people not wearing masks.....not even a mask dangling around their necks - no mask in sight AT ALL. One was shopping in the produce center right near an employee who was attending the veg section. I talked to front desk and they said they would look into it. This has happened before. I didn't feel safe so I left my groceries in a cart and left the store. They really should have someone who checks the customers. read more

What would you think if you walked in a grocery store and the freezer aisle was dark? First thought their freezer aisle broke down. I continued walking down the aisle in search of Gardein Tenders. Surprise, case after case suddenly lit up. I felt like a rock star. A vegetarian rock star! As I continued walking along, they lit up sequentially. Then the lights went off again. Oh, I get it, trying to save energy. Very smart. The staff that work here were courteous. Even the parking lot was spacious, wide open in the evening. They're open 6am -1 am every day. Tonight I went out of my way 15 miles to make it all the way to Palm Springs because Ralphs had their hours listed open until 1:00AM. We just arrived and the doors were locked and it had apparently closed almost an hour prior this is very frustrating especially when you have no gas so everybody be where they change their hours read more

I've always appreciated the late night hours this location offers and being able to take whatever time needed in an un-rushed, quiet timezone. Sometimes you just need to wander around the aisles and think about life. Or laundry. When I say late, I mean open until 1AM. For Palm Springs, thats like saying 24 Hours. I still have to do daytime shopping though. Lately I've noticed quite an improvement with the overall energy of the place and its staff. This is my favorite grocery store to shop at. I normally don't like shopping for groceries but this store makes it a breeze. They have a great selection on everything. Their meat department is awesome! You definitely have to try their marinated Carne Asada. The staff there is friendly, helpful and the store is clean. This review is for their catering services. I had to quickly arrange for a funeral and no one listed among Yelp's Palm Springs caterers was interested. I turned to Ralphs to prepare the food items and then my cousins and I would take them over to the church. This store was so accommodating under the circumstances. I ordered from three different departments and all the items were ready at the time of pick up. The store manager even made sure the canned seltzer we ordered was chilled in the dairy case. We've begun pickup service here about a year ago. The shopping is competitive ONLY if you are computer savvy. The website offers savings in several complicated ways. LILLY is their chief shopper and she's excellent BUT in her place clerks are not equipped with their terminals and therefore cannot process paper coupons. Store mgmt charges for bags WITHOUT CUSTOMER AUTHORIZATION. We shop in person also only for produce and are in and out in a flash. read more

Bloody chicken is what my $7.99 went towards the other when I purchased it from the hot case in the service deli. It was literally pink inside, raw. When I took it back the manager even said "oh another one ". Both Ralph's are guilty with uncooked chickens. Do something before somebody really gets sick. read more

If you're frustrated with merchandise not being marked at Ralph's I share your frustration. Be sure to watch your receipt as many items don't ring up correctly. I had two items ring up incorrectly today. One of them rang up four times. I told the self checkout attendant I was not shopping at Ralph's ever again and that I was going to complain to corporate.
