He wanted to check it out since the one by our church had closed down and we hadn't stopped by one in a while. It kept announcing, "customer service needed in the pain and sleep section". This went on for like 10 minutes. Finally went to front checkout, which was empty, and the cashier came back and helped. I dont mind things being locked up. But waiting over 10 minutes for an unlock (who knows how long if I didn't go to the front) is just crazy; especially in such a small store. Would be 1 star, but 2 stars because the cashier was helpful and left her post to do someone else's job.

She forced me to repeat myself multiple times and essentially made me yell out the specific medication I needed in a public space, which felt like a massive violation of my privacy. Even after I went and sat down to speak directly with the original pharmacist to sort out the issue, Gaby continued trying to shout things or talk over to me across the room. The pharmacist's excellent customer service AFTER HER was completely overshadowed by Gaby's unprofessionalism and total lack of discretion. I hope management addresses her behavior. Thank you again to the lady after, and I apologize for my part in the matter.

Parking in the area can be a bit difficult; however, it's not hard to find metered street parking in front or the paid parking lot across the street. Inside is really cool and preserved as if it is in the 1950s. In the back, they have a fully functional and working pharmacy, and in the front is a merchandise area, a little bodega, and a full service soda bar and milkshake station. The attendant behind the counter was extremely polite, and I tried a Cherry Soda, which I thought was great, and I wanted to get a banana milkshake; however, they were out, so I chose Funfetti Milkshake and enjoyed it very much. It was a great sweet treat on a warm day, and I would highly suggest to anyone to stop in for the history alone. It's also well known in many movies and TV shows, so if you are a filming location fan, it's also a must visit. I would highly recommend and will be back again in the future.
