The pharmacists are so nice, caring. helpful, efficient & fill my multiple prescriptions very fast, especially when they're called in by the hospital I've noticed and that is so appreciated. I just wish it wasn't inside the Target store as the hours are quite limited vs the stand alone CVS's. Tho it can be beneficial if you need to pick up a few things also at Target tho a pain if you're just there to pick up a prescription and you have to go all the way through the store to get it. Went all the way over to the store today to pick up a prescription and guess what? They were "closed for lunch." I guess CVS doesn't mind inconveniencing their customers to save a few bucks. If they did, they would actually staff their pharmacy properly and stop overworking their people. Pathetic. read more

Shopping in Pasadena, California... After my failed attempt at finding a postcard at Walgreens, I searched my Yelp app for another CVS. It was very strange to me that GPS led me to Target. I thought that maybe CVS was downstairs or nearby... It turned out that CVS was a vendor inside of Target - it's similar to how Starbucks is a vendor inside of Target! Darn! I must say I have never had a bad experience at this pharmacy, but there's a particular individual that goes above and beyond!!!! even helping me out when the pharmacy wasn't open and calling me before pharmacy hours in regards to an urgent matter. 1/25/25 Store posted hours 10AM opening. At 11:05AM a Target manager had to inform the waiting 15 customers that he has called the CVS regional Manager and others at CVS and no one has answered. This is no surprise. After years of coming to this CVS it is time to find another pharmacy. One more pickup and I'm done with CVS at 777 E Colorado Blvd Target. It would be an improvement if Target got rid of this CVS and converted the CVS space into bathrooms. This would be more value that what CVS brings. Read all of the negative comments posted regarding management and customer service. They are spot on and well deserved. If you want to save money, time and a lot of aggravation - My honest advice is Do Not Shop Here. All the best! read more

Don't have people waiting in line and then close up on them when they have been waiting to simply state in a rude manner that the employees need to lunch. I was in line for over 20 minutes for the guy at the counter to tell me he can't help me because he has to lunch. Terrible customer service. It was how everything was said and not well conducted for people who are in need of their services. They should have a sign at least so people don't waste their money and time there when they are in need. read more

Hit or miss on the employees. Also, multiple times I have gone only for them to be closed for "lunch" for an hour without posting it in their hours of operation. The window is just closed. No problem with them closing for lunch... but then don't advertise online as being open. Frustrating. read more

This CVS is inside the Target on Colorado near Pasadena Playhouse. So convenient because it's a one stop shop for everything. The pharmacy is located on the 1st floor in the back left corner when looking from the cashiers/main entrance. The service was quick and easy with no line. Woohoo!! Other CVS locations have long lines. Who wants to wait in line when you're sick or surrounded by sick people? I like using CVS because it's convenient & everywhere. You can pick up your prescription at any location and they use current technology (texting) to let you know when your prescriptions are ready. Most pharm techs are nice enough to call your doctor for refills. Parking is convenient as it has a double deck parking structure or street parking. Recommended! read more

Although this pharmacy is the "nicest" one, the head pharmacist or whatever is an in empathetic and pushy guy. Im only giving this place a star for the awesome and kind counter folks/ pharmacy aides. If you are prescribed controlled substances for your Rx DO NOT come here. Came here to pick up my Rx on 2 separate occasions and both bad experiences when this guy is consulted by the pharmacy aids (the people at the counter). 1st visit got asked by a really nice lady if I wanted to get a flu shot, I said no because I'm allergic and have had a severe reaction to it. The head pharmacist or whatever overheard and was like "oh we have this flu shot that's made differently" and I still politely still say no. Then he asked if "I'm really sure that I don't want a flu shot". Like, first off, respective another persons response when they tell you "No", I am clearly not consenting. Secondly, we are in a pandemic, the last place I want to end up is a hospital because of a pharmacist that can't take no for an answer. Second visit, came to pick up a different medication (fill dates are different) and talked to a really nice guy initially bout my pick up. The Rx they had ready for me gives me really bad side effects (confirmed w my Dr that I was good to switch to a different Rx) so I asked this really nice guy to switch the Rx to the one that works (I brought in my old bottle). When he went to try to fill my Rx, there was an issue and he called over the head Pharmacist (whom i have an issue) and he proceeded to tell me that they didn't have the generic brand I've been prescribed. "We cant fill your Rx here bc we can't seem to get the this specific generic version. You'll have to call around to other pharmacies to see if they fill it. For things like this you gotta do the leg work" and I'm there baffled like, you're seriously telling a patient they have to do the "leg work" to get their medication after YOUR PHARMACY had confirmed they could fill my Rx?! I called this specific CVS several months ago to triple check that they would carry my Rx. And I got told "Yes" several times before I went through the trouble of asking my Dr to send my prescription to this place that's not even close to where I live. Like, i get the stigma that comes with being prescribed certain medications but if I say "I would like to transfer my current Rx" or prefacing the conversation to let the pharmacists know I'm not a drug feigning lunatic and just a genuine patient trying to stay healthy and sane with a legit health condition and prescription, it's really F***ed up to be treated like it's of no consequence to the folks that need their Rx. No, "I'm sorry for the inconvenience". No, "I understand it can be frustrating you can't pick up your medication". read more

Avoid this pharmacy at all costs! They have terrible customer service! Have been going to this pharmacy for years and in the past six months the service and processing of prescriptions is a mess! Gerry the manager is rude and obviously does not understand the word customer service. If you have things set up on auto fill, it won't last. Somehow each month our prescriptions get "off auto fill" then they'll not be ready on time. Also, if they need to call for refills, they won't follow up if they don't hear back from doctor's office. So basically it's your job to do their job and make sure they are able to have doctor authorizations. It's terrible!! Big companies don't care about actually servicing clients, they punch clocks and just push pills. Terrible absolutely rude and would never give them any business. read more

Update- this pharmacy has become even more inept than I though. My provider called in a prescription, they first said they didn't get it, then discovered they had but didn't have a number to call the doctor for a verbal auth. The office message clearly states to press 2- to speak to a doctor. How do I know this, because I called right after getting off the phone with the pharmacy and my doctors picked up the phone. Lying and saying they called and couldn't get her number because the office was closed is a blatant disregard to the customers well being. I will be reporting them I have never been here and not impressed. Had to transfer here since the other CVS closes. My provider called in RX at 3, came at 5 to pick up. Not ready. The person helping me was incompetent and told me 45 min wait. Came bacK, got my medication and asked for flu shot. She didn't know how, another person helped Had to wait another 15 min for flu shot. The incompetent person showed me to a room and LOCKED herself in room with me. Seriously, knocking on door, trying to get out, locked herself out I am seriously considering another pharmacy until they get their shit together read more

My husband and I are from out of state and the day before we were headed home he was diagnosed with Covid. The pharmacy techs at this CVS in the Pasadena Target were very helpful getting us first connected to the telemedicine CVS center. Then when I picked up the prescription, George was very kind and helpful. He took the list I had of my husband's other prescriptions to the pharmacist. She read them carefully for us and reassured us that there were no problems. Our thanks to the staff for being so kind on a challenging day! read more

The absolute worst service! Very unprofessional and not knowledgeable at all. My CVS closed and I had to transfer my orders to this pharmacy. It took them almost an hour to figure out how to do that. They said they sent them to my doctor to refill, but never followed up. I kept calling for the status and they kept blaming my doctor. I went over a week without my blood pressure meds. My doctor confirmed they never sent him a request or never called to follow up. I went to Walgreens on Lake and in hours they had my prescriptions filled after contacting my doctor directly. read more
