Service Performed: Location: 3,800sqft House on a multi-sloped/angled hill Installed 7 Pilings around foundation outer frame and approximately 30 adjustable posts in the crawl space to reinforce/reconnect the ground to the floor of the house. 6 pilings were installed from within the crawlspace 1 piling required access from the exterior Quality: Truly Outstanding Workmanship, professional, well-equipped, experienced workman. Work completed before estimated completion date. On the 1 outdoor area, there was a retention stone wall, along with some other items requiring extra work to get to where they needed. After the work was done, it was all put back together and meticulously cleaned - you cannot tell that any work was done there; absolutely perfect! It was not easy to do what they did at that particular location. Value: Even though foundation repair/work is a costly service/installation; you certainly get what you pay for with Ram Jack West. I received more value than what I paid. You see, their value started 4 years ago, in 2022. I had them come out, define and price the job and signed a contract and paid 1/2 upfront. Within a couple weeks after signing I became critically ill, in the ICU and Hospital for 2 months. As a result I lost my job among other things and have a permanent disability. I reached out to Ram Jack West and they, very graciously, supported me by refunding my money immediately - especially at my greatest time of need. This is well above and beyond exceptional for a business and that is a huge factor as to why I called them back, in 2026, after I had stabalized, and got some money together. They re-bid the job, I expanded what I wanted to have done and they accomodated my requests. They helped me work out financing and walked me through the processes very thoroughly. Our experience with Ram Jack West was absolutely outstanding! Due to a big/long rain storm last December, we had a landslide issue in our area and our home foundation dropped significantly. Ram Jack assessed the situation using great tech tools and wrote up a comprehensive proposal, including photos. Upon our approval, they had an independent engineer also assess to finalize the plan, and file for permits. Our repairs were extensive, yet we had very minimal disruption to our living during the time they worked. The crew was the hardest working we have ever seen, and they even cleaned up and repaired everything after the work (e.g., holes in the ground refilled, concrete removed and replaced, etc.). We contacted three companies to look a an area on our foundation where some small cracks were over time along with what looked like some soil slippage. Two of the companies spent about 15 minutes each and left. Ram Jack West sent a structural engineer out. He spent about an 1 1/2 hours taking measurements and explaining what he found. he said the house was structurally fine but the southeast corner had settled some. we had him workup a support system for our review. We went ahead with his recommendations and had the work done. I think more for our peace of mind and to prevent anything in the future. The crew that did the work were great. They were on time , polite , and hard working. two more engineers came out during the work to observe the work was preformed correctly with the helical pile shafts. Ram Jack came out to assess some leaking in our garage after the first company that came tried to sell us on a huge repair job. . As others have said, Ram Jack is a very honest company. The man who came was very thorough- he inspected inside and out, measured our floors to assess for settlement, and told us we didn't need to be concerned about our foundation and didn't need their services. We had a couple other companies come as well since the first company had freaked us out and all the others agreed with Ram Jack that we were not in need of services. We chose Ram Jack over the other bidders because of the strong recommendations from a long time friend who used Ram Jack for two large jobs over the past 15 years and from a carpenter friend who used them on one of his houses and thought RamJack is the best in the business. They raved about their experience - easy to work with, answered all questions and concerns, and their onsite workers were well trained, efficient and always on time. Our job required several deep piles with sonotube caps to raise and stabilize a sagging edge of our deck in the SW Hills where the prior foundations rotated on the slope. This is the second time I have had them out to look at my house for excess settling, and an earthquake retrofit evaluation. I appreciate their honesty. This is a company I can trust to be honest. Cory did the evaluation for settling and said the house hasn't settled any more since they were out years ago, and is within an acceptable tolerance. He also explained my house is fully up to code as far earthquakes go, and to do anything further while it may help, would be very expensive, and it is probably better to have good earthquake insurance and let them take care of the damage in the event of a major earthquake. Doing anything more at this point with the foundation helical piles would be very expensive and basically protecting my deductible (and also preventing damage in the first place which might be worth it to someone with lots of disposable income) read more

We have a very old house and were concerned about the post and beam foundation. I cannot say enough about the honesty and integrity of Stephen Lambert with Ram Jack West. First he has the experience to back up his evaluation and I understand this process. Terra Firma is a good company and their bid was $20,000 to stabilize a corner of my foundation and were ready to start work. Stephen came out with a precision instrument as the other company did and determined the amount of settling did not justify the same process that both companies use. In fact he said if it was him he would just wait. He said he would keep records of the measurements and would be glad to come out in a year or any time I wanted to check since we had a base line to go from. Unfortunately the reschedule didn't work in my timeline and won't be able to work with them this time around. They have great communication and seem to have their processes down. I was nervous about having foundation work done on my 70 year old house but the professionalism and communication by the crew at Ram Jack eased all concerns on the first day. German Rojas Meza led the 3 person crew. He showed and explained the engineering report and walked me around the house while going over the blueprint. He patiently answered all my questions and addressed concerns. The work took two days (as expected) with the crew working very hard, focused on every task: installing a large steel support beam, excavating and installing seven 30' support posts, etc.. Impressive. German and crew were also respectful of any intrusion on my neighbors and sought permission before crossing on their property.
