I hardly use hotels so note that it costs more if you use a hotel on Friday-Sunday. I was here, Tuesday-Friday and checked out on Saturday morning. A 4 night stay cost $570.91 for me. Out of all the hotels I've been to, this place has the thinnest walls. The first room I stayed in had noisy neighbors. I could hear their TV and loud conversation very clearly and I had tons of trouble sleeping. It was so bad that I I had to ask them to give me a separate room because I couldn't even sleep. Even though I could still somewhat hear my new neighbors, they weren't nearly as loud as obnoxious as the previous ones. Note that there is no complimentary breakfast at this place; it costs $10 each morning for it. The hotel does come with very slow wi-fi, a very small gym on the second floor, and an outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Unfortunately, there is no printer which I really needed to use. Also unfortunately, the gym has no elliptical, just an old treadmill, bike, and row machine. There's only 3 sets of light dumbbells. The good thing is that the rooms are clean and comfortable. Not all the AC's/heaters are the same though. I prefer the ones that have the actual number of the temperature written on them instead of just a flatout knob with colors. The deposit to stay is $100 and they give you a parking pass. It's unfortunate that the guests here don't know how to park correctly though...

This was the conversation texts prior to our arrival.

My partner and I booked a room on their website using their "instant booking" feature but when we arrived to check-in they said we did not have a booking. We showed a confirmation number and the confirmation text. The front desk explained to us that the reservation was cancelled (no, not by me) because a card was not placed on file however, there was no place to put any card information when instant booking. We drove 3 hours for this stay and would never do it again.

This is not a Ramada/Wyndham standard quality hotel. It's obviously a Motel with the brand name attached. The rooms are junky. The sink drain was broken with stopper cap off; the towels were dingy and very grey (see photos); the door to the "balcony" was unsecured and unlocked (see hole in wall on balcony). It was not worth the $129 plus fees per night. They also bury the pet fees policy on the website-- $30 per dog per night, not a flat fee like other hotels. I asked to speak to the manager who hid in the back office and told the front clerk to make an excuse about being on an "important conference call" and that I should be the one to call her back in 45 mins. I said I'd like her to actually call me , which she did not, and I had to call her over an hour later. Needless to say, she was not helpful and was indifferent to my complaint. We were not going to stay another night because of the conditions, so I asked for them to release the 24 hour advance policy to cancel the second night and not charge for the room. She wouldn't allow it and then said the owners also refused. Can't believe anything she said. In any case, it is not a hotel, it is a motel and not a very good one.

The pool ! Very nice and clean

We stayed here because we knew it was basically a place to sleep for a few hours and I was not looking for a 5 star hotel price. We arrived at midnight and were nicely greeted by the front office attendant. The rooms were old , yes but very clean and VERY quiet , they promptly gave us extra blankets and we woke up the next morning happy and rested . When we checked out I smelled the freshly made coffee and good cookies , only to be checked out by George , he was very kind

Doing a local get away, decided to check into the Ramada by Wyndham in Torrance. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The rooms were spacious and clean and for a great price. As you can see from the pictures, they love red and so do I. Definitely a great spot near shopping centers, movie theatres, restaurants and so much more.

Book two night at this hotel. On the reservation it said "Buffet Breakfast", but the next morning, the hotel staff told me the "Buffet Breakfast" is $10 per person. I show them my reservation confirmation, it said "Buffet Breakfast". They said no and all you get is a bag of cheap breakfast. This hotel is a total scam and what they do is against the law. I'm going to file complain with California State Attorney General. Beware !

Stain on bottom of mattress. Could be seen from closet sliding door mirrors across from bed.

This is usually the hotel I book with but the last few times their cleanliness standers have declined. My recent stay 6/24 - 6/26 was my last stay unfortunately because of a disturbing stain on the bottom of the mattress. I was able to spot it from the closet sliding door mirrors just across from the bed. This occurred on the first night; the property said they had no other vacancies and could give a 10% discount for that day. I had to reiterate that there was no way I was sleeping in that room and it took some persistence to finally have them change me to a different room. Overall I'm very disappointed and grossed out.

Quiet and well maintained hotel. Rooms are furnished with large flat screen TV, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, hair dryer, flat iron, ironing board and luggage rack. Free to go breakfast is also served. Swimming pool and laundry room also on site! Downsides of staying here are: they require $100 room deposit at check in and WiFi connection at times disappears occasionally.

    Nasty nasty dirty bathtub
    Lori L.

This is a HORRIBLE PLACE TO STAY. We were given a room in a pet friendly room as we had a dog. We found the bathtub to be filthy. Called and asked for the tub to be cleaned. Came back to the room and it was locked. Checked at the office and they said on entering the room they saw what looked to be 2 beds and wanted to charge additionally. Tub was still dirty. Then an hour later the maid LET HERSELF INTO THE ROOM WITHOUT KNOCKING. They offered a different room instead of cleaning this one. Most bizarre experience I've ever had.

The 3.7 rating or whatever ratings has by the time you view it are lying to you. You'd be better off staying somewhere else. Normally Hilton has some pretty decent places, but I'm ashamed to say this place generally felt very... meh. I'm not making this one star because the receptionist was nice about my reservation, even after having a bit of a hard time finding our reservation (someone else's reservation showed up for us somehow) and found an accessible room for my family and I (elderly individuals in my family). Very old and outdated, no valet or bellman as mentioned above. Very deceiving looks. I would say goodnight (as of the time of writing this), but I doubt I'll be getting any sleep after the "pillow hair incident" of haunting my dreams.

In the middle of the night, I was awakened by a man repeatedly banging on my door. He remained outside my room for approximately 15-20 minutes, left, and then came back again. As a woman traveling alone, I was terrified. I immediately called the front desk, and later even called 911 because I genuinely feared for my safety. The hotel later claimed the man was intoxicated and had mistaken my room for his own. Whether that was true or not, I had no way of knowing that at the time. From my perspective, an unknown man was outside my door in the middle of the night, and I had every reason to fear for my safety. What shocked me even more was the front desk's response. The front desk manager, whose name started with "Z," was extremely unprofessional. Instead of showing empathy or acknowledging how frightening the situation was, she never sincerely apologized. Throughout our interaction, her tone came across as dismissive, passive-aggressive, and impatient. At several points, she was chatting and laughing with other staff members while I was trying to explain a serious safety concern. As a guest who had just experienced a frightening incident, I felt completely ignored and disrespected. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable--I simply expected the hotel to take a guest's safety seriously. Instead, I was made to feel like I was overreacting. That lack of professionalism and compassion was far more upsetting than the hotel's explanation that someone had "knocked on the wrong door." Every hotel can experience unexpected incidents. What distinguishes a good hotel from a bad one is how it responds. Unfortunately, this hotel failed completely. If you are a solo traveler, especially a woman traveling alone, I would strongly recommend staying somewhere else where your safety concerns will actually be taken seriously.

The location is definitely a highlight -- it's centrally situated near Del Amo Fashion Center with tons of dining and shopping options close by, and only about a 10-mile drive to Rancho Palos Verdes, which made getting to and from birthday plans super easy. The hotel itself is pretty quiet, which we appreciated. The rooms are average -- nothing particularly special, but clean and comfortable enough for a short stay. The property has a heated pool with lounge chairs and a fire pit, which is a nice touch for relaxing in the evening, although there's no jacuzzi. There's also an on-site restaurant (we didn't get a chance to try it) and a bar where we enjoyed a couple glasses of wine. Service was overall just okay -- nothing standout, but not bad either. We mainly chose this hotel because of the reasonable price, and for what we paid, it delivered exactly what we needed: a convenient, no-frills place to stay for the weekend. Would consider staying again for the location and value alone!
