We chose to arrive early so to ensure we weren't late. Before leaving the starting point, we were provided clear instructions from the kind staff members, also, they answered any in all of our questions allowing us to choose one of the available bikes on the track. One of us were responsible for handling the electric speed when we weren't pedaling, I believe it was just a lever or a push button, not too fast and not too slow of a speed but just right. This was great to utilize when we needed a break from pedaling, hee. There was also a break lever between us to slow down or stop if needed, great safety option. Each bike was provided one keepsake River Fox backpack that had two waters and a snack for each of us to partake in afterwards, how thoughtful. We took a beautiful ride through a countryside setting. Reaching our turnaround point allowing us to disembark for like under 10 minutes, at this point, you could sip on the provided water or take a bite of the snack provided while the kind staff easily maneuvering each railbikes, turning them back around. Returning back upon our journey I wanted to go again! River Fox Railbikes I can't wait to sign up again. Thank you for a beautiful memory.

If you get tired you can switch over to an electric motor and sit back and enjoy. The scenery is beautiful and they provided a bag with a bottle of water, granola bar, Sun Chips and a sticker! So cute and top notch! The rail bikes are located in a cute little "town" and everyone there was polite and helpful. Highly recommend and I will do it again if I am in the area. Great job River Fox!

How do you become a regular at a welcome center? Well she took me for the first time. Good size and clean. HUGE unisex restroom. Plenty of souvenirs to buy. Lots of history to study. Atmosphere - See pictures and read above. Service - So welcoming. Gave me a pamphlet for the local wineries and breweries. This might be my new "Livermore?!?!" Price - Free. Well, it depends if you buy souvenirs. Owner Comment - Thank you for such a welcoming center, pun intended.

The employees at this Auburn Visitor Center and the volunteers at this Visitor Center are very knowledgable not only of Auburn, but also other towns of Placer County. There are Visitor Guides of different towns of California. Go by districts, so as example, Bay Area, Monterey area, San Joaquin County, Southern California. One time two of them telling me stories of the Women Prison at the museum at Historic Court House. It is actually outside the Court House, if one looks, there was small area for the bed, the sink, and the toilet. Very first time I ever visited Auburn, asked of Forgotten Soldier Program Park. Wow, it is walkable of this Auburn Visitor Center. Now this to me strange. There also Placer County Visitor Center. I am fourth person for that. What is strange it is exact address, same directions, same telephone number.

I felt like after my email was sent...within a few hours (at most) she replied with a helpful, detailed response. During our trip, we never felt rushed. Our itinerary was perfect! She allocated the perfect amount of time for us to experience great food and an amazing selection of vineyards. Not knowing anything about Napa, I could not have asked for a better trip. If you are planning a trip to wine country...make sure to ask Melanie for help!

First, Melanie set us up with a limo to take us to several wineries and an amazing wine collective in Yountville. Second, Melanie put together a half day bike tour for our group in Sonoma to visit several wineries and a cheese factory. Booking with Melanie was super easy. She asked me what our group's preferences were, what our budget was and if we had any special requests / needs. She handled all of the booking fees, payments and confirmations. Before the trip, Melanie sent me a very detailed itinerary with our driver's name, contact information, the contact people at each winery, directions just in case the driver didnt have them (was not an issue) and the cost for each part of the day trip. Melanie was also reachable while we were out there in case anything came up (was not an issue - everything ran smoothly). Melanie was also incredibly helpful providing restaurant recommendations, shopping excursion ideas and providing a general sense of what attractions there were in Napa / Sonoma beyond wineries. Having someone else book the group trips (for a very reasonable cost) and getting a local's perspective on the wineries and places we should visit made the trip so much easier to plan and it was much more relaxing once we got there as I knew everything was taken care of. I would definitely recommend Melanie and Booker and Butler to any family, friends or colleagues who are going to Napa and Sonoma.

What followed was one of the most shockingly unprofessional customer service experiences we've ever encountered. Fadi Stephan, who answered the phone, told us there was nothing he could do. When we pressed, he didn't just decline to help -- he lectured us. "You're adults, you need to face the consequences of your actions," he said. At one point, he mimicked my voice. We were stunned. Any reputable transportation company has a lost item policy. The standard practice is simple: when a customer calls shortly after leaving something behind, you make a reasonable effort to help. Phoenix chose not to. What makes this especially inexplicable: after leaving our school event, the bus went directly to Disneyland (six hours away) meaning the phone would be inaccessible until Monday. We weren't asking for a miracle. We simply asked Fadi to notify the driver so the phone could be safely held by the company rather than discovered and pocketed by a future passenger. He refused, and never offered any explanation as to why. If anything, it felt like he was rooting for another passenger to pick it up. We followed up with polite emails throughout the weekend. His written responses were abrasive: "Once again for the 5th time, I will let you know once the bus is back," but even that felt kind compared to his tone over the phone, which obviously doesn't leave a paper trail in the same way as email. Phoenix has lost our business, and we will be sure to share this information with the rest of our school. Please do yourself a favor and find another bus carrier! It's not worth the headache.
