Had a colonoscopy December 2024. Overall, the pre procedure and post procedure, everyone was nice and professional. Had my first colonoscopy in 2016 at age 50 at another facility. Dec 2024 procedure It was completed at MedStar Health in Maryland, right outside DC. Procedure went well and no polyps, and my health plan should pay %100, as did my previous health plan I had back in 2016. I've been receiving bills every since the procedure and the one that keeps coming is $400+. They said Dr. Farboud coded the billing as diagnostic (his office said) and not preventive which I think is causing billing to occur. But, Brenda at MedStar Health re-sent the codes to my health plan that should clear the issue and yet here it is June 2025 and still getting letter for payment due. All this because I feel Dr. Faboud should have coded the procedure as preventive. Also, I wouldn't have ever met Dr Faboud if it wasn't for him being in the exam room before my procedure learning their new medical app since the pre procedure visit was with his I guess, nurse practitioner, and the post procedure was with the same nurse practitioner, not Dr. Faboud. I didn't even get phot of my colon like at did at my first procedure back in 2016 at another facility. someone else stated that they never met Dr. Faboud also before or after his procedure. Really disappointed in this practice. 2 stars because everyone at the practice is very kind, at least. I went because I was having bad gastric issues, and the doctor barely listened to what I had to say and insisted I was lactose intolerant. I asked if the medication I was on could be causing the issues, and he said that it was possible, and recommended switching my medication and said he would call in the new meds to my pharmacy by end of day. I call my pharmacy the next morning, and they said they never received a script from Dr Farboud. I called the office and they said he "forgot to" but "100% would call it in today." Guess what? It's now a full two weeks after my appointment, and despite my calling the office 3 more times after that to please send the script for my new meds in, Dr Farboud still hasn't. If he can't call in medication that he recommended, why should I even go to this practice? read more

I made an appointment with Dr. Ramin's office to get a certain GI situation checked out, and making an appointment was a breeze. It was mentioned that I would probably see Ms. Jessica Zarou, the Physician's Assistant instead, and I said that would be fine. The suite is located in the main Providence Hospital DC, and there were plenty of parking around the hospital grounds. The receptionists were nice, and my appointment time was definitely adhered to. I was asked some brief family history questions from another assistant, who was very nice and friendly as well. When Ms. Zarou walked in, she exuded such friendliness and definitely put me at ease! She listened to everything that I had to say, shared me her thoughts, answered every single one of my questions in much detail, gave me much information, and gave me a plan of action. Ms. Regina, helped take care of scheduling appointments for me with other testing sites, and she was so sweet as well! I really loved my experience here, and even though it's a Gastroenterology office, I was very satisfied as a patient! Dr. Farboud has been my doctor for over three years and of all the medical practitioners I've seen in the DC area, he is the kindest, most patient, and most thorough I have met. His office hours may be limited, but he will always work with you to make sure you're seen and goes above and beyond to get you the help you need. read more

1st of all this review is for the RESHAPE BALLOON procedure.... Dr. Farboudmanesch is a very nice guy and seems to be a good doctor. That said the Reshape procedure is a compete waste of over 7k...... I had these balloons put it to help curb my appetite, to help me eat less, which in turn would help me lose weight.... THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!! The only weight you will lose is due to liquid diet the week before and the week after the surgery. DON'T DO IT!!! read more

I have had stomach issues for the past 15 years. Initially I tried the colon cleansing - mistake. I didnt do any research and in the end hurt myself as I removed all the good bacteria from my system. I then went to several gastro doctors, and went to a holistic professional who I thought helped but only prescribed me about 20 supplements that emptied out my wallet. So I ended up reading articles online, joined blogs, ordered probiotics online. But after a visit with Dr. Farboudmanesch, he put me on a STRICT diet - lactose free with a sprinkle of SIBO friendly foods - and after a month, I felt a humongous difference. I didn't feel like throwing up every after meal, no more cramps, no more bloating. I still had a bit of discomfort with gas pains but it was very much less than before. That was after one month. I continue to see Dr. Farboudmanesch and I am looking forward to healing my GI issues. I visited Dr. Ramin's for more than 11 times because of my stomach problem which is about 8 months, First of all, he is never available in his office and Never respond to your phone calls even in case of emergency! whenever you take an appointment with him, instead of him, all the times his Physician's Assistant Jessica Zarou come to see you which has NO knowledge at all because she is still under doctors trainings, Over all, after wasting my 8 months to visit this doctor, my health problem got worse and worse because he prescribes me wrong medications and put me on prednisone for more than 6 months which it cause to damage my liver now! I will NEVER go to this doctor again! I did several procedures with him such as colonoscopy, endoscopy and all other stuff, but all was about money!!!! he NEVER care about his patients and he is very rude. So people please AVOID this doctor and do research before visiting this doctor, there are many good GI doctors out there with best review so never waste your time and money!!! your health is most important thing in your life!!! read more
