They were so kind and gentle and understanding of how heart breaking this moment is for fur parents. We do it for the well being of our baby's but the pain and guilt doesn't go away. That way when he passed away in my hands at home (I was an absolute mess) he wouldn't have been in pain or have a seizure in my hands and to be frank give me ptsd. I wanted him to pass at home where he felt safe warm near me but I didn't want his last moments to be in pain. And because he's a parrot he'd only need a couple drops of either. But thats a lesson I learned the hard way and if I am even in the same situation I will make sure to ask. Otherwise she is an absolute brilliant vet and her staff is awesome too. Tried to squeeze me in as soon as possible using the triage method. I love that she can see more than just cats and dogs. She can see birds and I think reptiles too. Also when my pet passed they were so thoughtful and sent a card signed by the staff. Absolutely the sweetest and thoughtful gesture.‍ Definitely recommend.

He told me to let her go and she jumped off the table.She hurt herself . He got really upset with me when I asked what was wrong with her. I took her back to to have her laid to rest. I called him a couple days later to ask him about her blood work, and he hung up on me. I didn't take any of my pets back to sèe him. He has no compassion. I will never take any.of my pets back to see him again.

First time I called for the results, I was promised a return call. Nothing. Second time I called, I was informed the office was closed for four days due to fumigation. Third time I called, I was told they'd "email me the results." Lol. Really? Can you email me a vet to explain them as well? I heard nothing for the rest of the day. Exasperated, I went to the office in person the next day. I asked for an office manager & spoke to Holly. She assured me, she'd call me herself. A few hours later, she did. My cat had a UTI. I was so angry. He went more than a week with an untreated UTI because the office couldn't be bothered with calling & getting us set up with antibiotics. Usually, we all think that if you don't hear from the vet, the test results were perfectly fine. I assumed this as well but still wanted confirmation. If I hadn't pushed this, no one would have called & my cats UTI most likely would have escalated into something much worse like blockages or kidney failure. As it was, he was in pain all this time & I didn't know. This veterinary office had always been good up to this point but they seriously dropped the ball with this one & it's unacceptable. I'm pulling my two cats & going elsewhere. If you think I'm pissed off now, imagine how angry I would have been had I lost my sweet boy. Failure to communicate a medical problem is malpractice and incompetence. Dr. Mary Booth needs to do better. Pets are family.
