On September 26, my vehicle was being towed by Ramos Towing. During the process, the driver failed to properly secure my car, causing it to fall off the tow truck and collide with another vehicle mid-tow. Following the incident, I spoke with Vince R. from Ramos Towing, who initially assured me that he would take responsibility for the damage and have my vehicle repaired. However, after several weeks of delays and excuses--including claims that he was out of the country in Europe--he ultimately left my car in disrepair. I want to make Ramos Towing aware of this situation and hope they recognize the serious issues with how this matter was handled by their employee. read more

This company should be ashamed of the way they treat people -- especially families connected to a senior living community. My brother's car was towed from a senior apartment complex, and we were charged an outrageous amount to get it back. Most seniors are on fixed incomes, and towing vehicles from senior housing without compassion or understanding is completely wrong. We spoke with a man named Victor, who was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Instead of trying to help or explain the charges, he was combative and had zero empathy for our situation. When asked about the 10-mile towing rule and the excessive after-hours fees, he gave misleading information and refused to work with us in any reasonable way. This company's behavior feels predatory and discriminatory, especially toward seniors and their families. We plan to report Victor and Ramos Towing to the proper authorities for review and investigation. No one should have to deal with this kind of disrespect or financial exploitation when already facing a difficult situation. I strongly recommend avoiding this company at all costs. Ramos Towing needs to be held accountable for its practices -- or shut down altogether if this is how they choose to operate. The store confirmed I was there, but the towing company still refused to release my car unless I paid a $400 fee. where do I start. There behavior resembles a lot with broke people . He made his paycheck off of me. I reached out to them at 7 am. I told him the car is under my brother's name. I am the driver it says on insurance as well that I drive that car. he said as long as you could have his ID or photo of his ID i can release the car to you. The guy gave me his address and said we will be there in an hour or one hour 30 minutes. I asked him why he towed the car from in front of my house where its parked every night from past 5 years. He said the car had no parking permit and I had to tow it. The permit was there he just did not see the permit and he did not wanted to admit it. it almost sounded like he was eyeing the car. and one night he got the reason to tow it which i am still not sure if its true or he did something to get the permit to fall off of dashboard. long story short, I got to the address he gave me . Once I arrived I asked him how much longer because I have been here more then 1 hr. 45 minutes. he said the driver will be there soon. then he went on ordering me that "come back at 2:30 I will give you a discount". I had to call out of work because this man had no sense of time management. He told me this while I waited at Ramos towing parking lot for more then 2 hours and I told him multiple times like I just need my car back. I told him this at least more then 3 times. when he told me that " come back after 2:30 i will give you a discount" I actually thought he is never going to give me my car back. he charged me unnecessary fees. $100.00 extra because he had to dolly my car because my car is electric. That is a lie. My car is electric. My car is hybrid. It runs on gas and sometimes like once's in a month on battery. Car did not needed to be dolly. He Lied to me. I finally got my car back after begging him to give me MY car back that i made the payments to. I finally got back home at 4 pm. and this whole things started at 7:00am. In person interaction was very rude. I am not very sure who I spoke to because he had no name tag and no curtsey of introducing himself to me. he was on the phone the entire time At one point I thought he might not give me my car back and I did consider getting the cops involved. here is the price breakdown: Towing charge $300.00 ( this includes the 100.00 dolly charge) labor :100( I am really not sure what labor they did) storage: $85.00 even though I had been trying to get my car back from 7: am Extra gate fee charge: $100.00 I am not sure what that one was for since both of the gates are always broken and I checked with my office thy usually have the key to get in. and god forbid you try asking questions about the bill they give you to sign. My husband parked our car along the paint shop that's near the Human Resources Center in Downtown (close to Co-op) & got towed today. Mind you yesterday we parked there with alot of other people but not one was towed away. I'm sure everyone who parked there did not read any "No Parking" sign that was almost hidden under the trees that were along the parking area. We never saw it yesterday, my husband parked in the same exact spot today and did not see no sign. Even the paint shop workers told my husband they didn't not call no towing company for people who parked there but didn't go into their shop idk if that is true on their end be that would've happened yesterday if they really care about their parking spaces. But today a man who works in this towing company woke up and thought he's broke and decided to take our car to get paid & wanna talk smart over the phone.
