Drove by the place on Sunday May 24, 2020. Lots of people sitting out side closer than 6 feet without masks . Servers were also not wearing masks. Inside looked like every other table seating. Neat cafe with great decor.. food was okay, we ordered nachos and the club sandwich. The nachos had to be remade three times & still wasn't correct - chicken was cold. Club sandwich was decent but had no tomato, and barely bacon. Server seemed rushed, but maybe would try again. read more

We had an awesome 4th of July dinner here with an equally amazing server, Nicole! She recommended the Island Salmon Quesadilla Salad and my husband had the Spicy Garlic Wings! Nicole suggested that we get the wings grilled - excellent recommendation! The salad comes with a pesto sauce on top of the salmon over a bed of mixed greens. Little wedges of quesadillas are perfect for my carb fix. After drinking a great Key Lime craft beer my husband had the peanut butter pie and I had the Key Lime Pie. Great recommendations, again!!! Great atmosphere and yummy wings. We sat at the bar but there is outside seating as well.

two of us ordered the fish tacos. one order was blacked, two of the tacos were full of lettuce, tomatoes and cheese a piece of fish the size the the knuckle to the tip of my thumb, one didn't have fish and the other was the size of my pinky. the other order was the fried fish. they forgot have the ingredients. so we showed the waitress, who was very nice and she took it back. she came back and said the cook told her the blacked was smaller because it wasn't battered. we said really what about the one that didn't have any. then they added the only half the condiments on the others. this wasn't even the lunch special. never again will they see us.then all the other waitresses were leaving and they left our waitress with all the tables unbelievable. who is managing the place. our bill was $ 110.39. read more

OMG! That's the first thing I said when I left this restaurant... The food - fantastic! The atmosphere - welcoming! But the service??? BLEW MY MIND! I've passed this establishment a few times doing work in the area and I've heard good things about it, so I was eager to try! When we arrived, we were greeted by a in interesting decor and a welcoming staff. There are license plates all over walls and a chalk board to show all the specials so you couldn't miss it! We sat down and we're immediately greeted by Josh. He had a warm personality and was quick and efficient! The menus look like newspapers, which I thought was a fun touch! We were unsure of what to try because the entire menu looked amazing, but Josh was there to help and guided us though his favorites! We started off with the potato skins... the honey mustard sauce -- I could lick the cup it comes in! (Did I mention everything was made from scratch in house? Yeah, amazing!) For our entrees we ordered the ribs, wings, and chicken fajitas. LORD, everything was tasty! The ribs fell off the bone and were covered in a sweet BBQ sauce, and wings were nice a crispy, and the fajitas were hot and sizzlin'!! Fan-tas-tic! Now about the service.... I've worked in hospitality and the food industry for years, and I strive on giving amazing service.. but Josh, here at Ramshackle gave me a run for my money. I haven't had service this great in a VERY long time. We never had to ask for refills or condiments. He was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and down right amazing. Did they sell this place to new owners, what's up? We have been eating at Ramshackles for many years. Today was very disappointing, we both ordered the hwy 27, cheese steak sub, note(we have ordered this many times before ). With 2 glasses of tea and tip the bill was almost $40, I'm not complaining about the price, it's that the price is much higher and the quality has gone way down. The entire sandwich was not what it use to be, menu called for mushrooms, of coupon mushrooms on the sandwich, very little meat and veggies too. We were shocked at how this place has gone down hill from what it use to be. This will have an effect on our future trips there for sure. I can't really recommend them any longer. Feel robbed, oh, btw, it comes with a pickle spear and I don't know where they find such a measly pitiful looking pickle to put on the plate. Sad, very sad, that they raise prices and cut quality. A restaurant must have 3 things to survive, good food, good service and reasonable pricing. All 3 of these things are now lacking what use to be at Ramshackles. read more

This place is cool! There are old license plates hanging on the ceiling. Beers are cold. Wings are crispy. The crowd is a little rowdy late at night. The service was good but kinda funny. You could tell they've had the same routine for years. They tell you how it's done. lol. The place is clean too. The waitress was cleaning tables and sweeping tables around us. (Not in a bad way. This is a crazy atmosphere! The food was really good the service was great and everyone was nice. The wings are advertised as "world famous wings" so I had to ask if they were really world famous because everyone advertises that and the server told me Leesburg famous which was good enough for me! It's cold it's not cooked right it doesn't have the right seasoning the wait staff aren't nice !! The decor isn't nice and I want a free dessert or money off my bill or I'm writing a bad Yelp review lol i always click on a 1 star review profile and read all there reviews and they all are the same complaints!! Beer was cold ,but the bartender needs to retake classes again,my drink was weak,and not made correct. We had the mac n cheese appetizer it was very good. The yellow table we were sat at had way to much over run of dirt. The tables all need to be taken outside and scrub down for me. I get the theme idea but cleanliness is next to Godliness. Stopped in when vacationing in the area - looked interesting and had decent Yelp reviews. Waitress did a good job, even tho the place was hopping with the lunch crowd. I had the porterhouse steak, medium rare. Very good! Most places can't cook a decent medium rare - it's almost always medium, or (shudder) medium-well. The cook nailed it. This restaurant could be considered a dive, but it has a very unique atmosphere that I really enjoyed. I got a burger, and was surprised that they had gluten free buns. Not half bad. The burgers are fine (a couple of them are ridiculously overpriced); the drinks are tasty but rather weak; the service is half good, half blah. Some of the servers there are typical local girls: looks but no personality and no clue how to earn a good tip with their demeanor. But the others do a great job and bring a smile to your face. The menu is varied, but it's mostly a "burger and wings" joint. It's a great hang-out joint for co-workers, friends or family. A place to kick back your heels, order some drinks and fajitas, and relax. The major problem I have is that--while the outside deck is a great place to hang out when the weather is a bit cooler--it's far too small and way too close to the ever-busy, ever-noisy, ever-expanding 27/441. Sirens from emergency vehicles blaring here and there, loud motorcycles and semi-trucks with weird people staring and pointing at you as you eat. And since Sleazeburg is 90% ghetto-fied, every other car is blaring rap so loud you can't carry on a conversation with anybody while said car is stopped at the nearby traffic light. The inside of the restaurant is even more confining, cramped and almost as noisy. Ramshackle's is a good place to sit back and have some decent food and drinks, but it's in need of re-building a larger restaurant somewhere nearby, and not literally ten feet from one of the most congested roads in the county! read more

Ramshackle's is a hometown spot for many of the locals. My girlfriend is from Leesburg, and insisted we stop here for lunch because she was craving a buffalo chicken wrap haha. I'm not from Leesburg so I had not even heard of the place before I met her. I see why it's always packed, it's well established and has the feel of "home away from home". People come here because they are comfortable here, not because the food is amazing. The food is your standard bar and grill type. There's burgers, wraps, wings, fried fish and cold beer. I got a cheeseburger and was pretty happy with it. The flavor reminded me of something that came off my grill in my backyard, nice! Whenever I'm in Leesburg with my girl I won't object to coming back to Ramshackle's again. We can sit on the patio, watch the crazies in traffic, drink cold beers and have some good grub... read more

I got a steak, which was quite delicious. My wife got a chicken chimichanga, and was mostly pleased. She said that the chicken, itself, was minimally spiced and rather bland. However, the chili that accompanied it was quite spicy and tasty, so altogether she was pleased. She had high praise for their margaritas. Quite strong and delicious. I was happy with their beer selection. The service was very friendly but a little slow. We were there at night on New Year's Eve, so that could have been the reason for that. I've heard of Ram shackles and it seemed to fit the bill of what I expected. This is a local style bar/grill with nothing outside the ordinary of what they offer, . . . but that's not necessarily a bad thing. They have your run of the mill burgers, wraps, sandwiches and wings. This is not the place if you want to eat healthy. But if you're looking for American bar food, with cold beer, then check this place out. Pros: good price, great wings, cold beer Cons: service is hit or miss, cleanliness in dining room I've eaten here a good handful of times when I visit and out of those times, I can recommend the following: -Goldfever Wings (asked for them grilled) -Philly Cheesesteak Wrap (this is sometimes hit or miss on the ratio of mayo and cheese they put on it, as well as sometimes the steak isn't seasoned well) -Skilly Wrap (breaded chicken and chili inside a wrap; messy but great) -Potato Skins (these might be premade, but their homemade honey mustard is PERFECT with these) -Burger (I love a good burger and on a 1 to 10 scale, I give theirs an average of 7) Things not to get: -Fried pickle spears (pretty sure these are ordered and not made on site. also, they are spears, not chips and the breading falls off all the time. if they took the time to make their own fried pickle chips, they would be selling better and I would even pay a higher price point for them -Hot/Chili Dog (I love a good frank and there is nothing special about this item; I was let down) -Salads (all salads here seem to be iceburg lettuce and nothing special as well. if they tried throwing in some spinach, spring mix or my favorite . . . arugala, then it might be something to try. they should try some other cheese offerings as well) Now keep in mind these are my own opinions of the place. I'm sure you might find something that isn't good that I've picked, or visa-versa. However, out of the times I've got there (and I've gotten many of these dishes multiple times), Ramshackles always gives me the meals I like very consistantly, and that is VERY key to a good dish.
