The team at the VictoriaGardens location LensCrafters was one of the best teams I've ever encountered. From entering their store, Francisco was welcoming and helpful with explaining the process of getting my first pair of glasses with them; and was so kind in trying to get me an appt as a walk-in patient. Manny was the one who started my eye exam and was charming, polite and so patient with all my crazy questions about all the impressive tech/machines in their office. The Doctor who explained my test results was professional, thorough and also very kind with answering all my concerns. I wish all my doctors were like her. And to top it all off, Jennifer was the one who walked me through the ordering process for my eye-glasses and was so good at explaining all my options with my insurance. She was knowledgeable and just offered top-shelf customer service. No pressure, no rushing....just friendly and funny, she made the whole experience so easy. From start to finish, I was impressed with the caliber of care with this team. I couldn't have asked for any better....and I've already started to recommend this particular location LensCrafters to all my family and friends. ***NOW, the wait begins.....I'll update this review regarding how LONG the wait is for my new eyeglasses. :) read more

While there's a ton of mixed reviews, I will say that for MANY years I've been coming to Lenscrafters in Victoria Gardens. They recently moved locations within Victoria Gardens with their present location being purpose built, and very very modern with a lot more of selection. They do have days where there is multi doctors making appointments a breeze, or scheduling with a single doctor. Our latest visit was this weekend for my 7 year old, the doctor had tons of patience, and since my sons vision changed within less than a year so much we're going with the Stellar lens which is an FDA approved lens to help slow the progression of myopia. They no longer offer AAA discounts on exams, but continue to offer AAA discounts on purchases, including their warranty. I really do recommend their warranty for the kiddos, in the event your kiddos scratch their lens it's only $25 for a new set. Or if they break their frames, it'll be $25 to replace them. By the way, Lenscrafters has a policy allowing for 30 days of happiness, so if the lens aren't up to par (your new prescription) or you are unhappy with your frames, take them back and they'll get you sorted with something else. read more

I've worn glasses for years and have never damaged the film with product used to clean them or exposed them to heat. That is the reason they gave me what caused this issue. 6 months after my purchase the film got damaged, see photo. I went in and they said they can't do nothing because I didn't pay for that type of coverage. It's very disappointing that they don't offer a warranty on their workmanship. The person basically made me feel like this is my fault. I'll go to my small business optometrist for my next pair of glasses. This was my first time at this LensCrafters location. I had been to a few in the South Bay but since moving to the IE I needed a new location. This location just got remodeled and it is GORGEOUS. So cool and dark. Really gives you that premium feel. The entire staff was very helpful and not too pushy. Ivan, my salesman was excellent. I asked WAY too many questions but he was very happy to answer. Like a good salesman, he did try to sell me more than one pair of glasses and he was successful. He was able to use my insurance and the stores discount to put together a great deal. I was supposed to get glasses but I walked out with glasses, prescription sunglasses, and even a pair of sunglasses for my wife. Great job! I'll definitely be back. read more

Worst experience.......lenscrafters Victoria gardens scheduled eye exam @ 2/21/26 after I chose my glasses, Ivan help me saying I'm going to get all the best of everything( thinner lenses, progressive, transitions) for $640. I told Ivan I'll be back. I got back around 6:00pm then Vanessa assisted me. I told her that I was here earlier and Ivan helped me. Then she talked to Ivan afterwards she told me it's $680 that's what Ivan told her. So she measured my glasses several times..... 2/27/26 picked up my glasses Gabby gave it to me then I tried it on. I told her it's blurry I can barely see. She replied in a rude way that I need to wear the glasses for 3days...I told her is it even safe for me to drive?! She insisted in a rude manner that I have to wear it. Gabby has no compassion at all. I asked her who is the manager of the store and she said it's her!!!!!! I was shocked.....A manager treated a customer rudely and without compassion at all............and the frame of the glasses has so many scratches it looks like someone used it already...going forward, I tried wearing the glasses at home for 3days and still the same. So I went back and got retested. Jennifer helped me at front and when she looked at my glasses she said the measurements are incorrect and the lenses are polycarbonate and that's probably why it's blurry. She said now I have to pay extra $120 to make it thinner lenses.....it was so upsetting that I have to spend $900 and to be treated this way.......corporate needs to look at their employee!!!!!!! read more

ATTN: DO not come here for glasses or eye exam They will nickel and dime you for using each equipment. Furthermore they misrepresent on their inventory of available frames. When asked about the frames a female named Gabby in the Essilor vision center stated "that's all we have" with negativity in her voice. I recently purchased prescription glasses from LensCrafters in Rancho Cucamonga, paying $617, but the prescription was completely wrong--the lenses were blurry. When I returned to the Rancho Cucamonga store, a representative named Nathan attempted to fix the issue by twisting and bending my frames to make them "work." He also scribbled all over the lenses to pinpoint the problem, even though he is not an eye doctor. None of this helped. Since Dr. Camacho had moved to the Riverside location, I went there to get a the representatives had me pick up the glasses and take them to the Riverside location Inside of the Tyler mall. Dr. Jennifer Dang examined my eyes and confirmed that my prescription was too strong. She provided me with a corrected prescription, but I was charged an additional $25 for the visit. The store also tried to make me pay again for the lenses, which is completely unacceptable. This mistake was made by Dr. Vance Nguyen, who originally gave me the wrong prescription. I should not have to pay again to fix an error that was not my fault. LensCrafters or the responsible doctor should cover the cost of updating my glasses to the correct prescription. I am extremely disappointed with this experience and the poor handling of my issue. I expected much better service, since I am a returning customer, this is my second prescription not only for contact lenses, but also for eyeglasses and especially after spending so much on these glasses. My husband came here on Monday and was greeted by a bald man. (The man did not introduce himself and walked away almost immediately after my husband came in). Customer service for eye exam is HORRIBLE! Save yourself time and money and go elsewhere. I checked my son in for his appt and the receptionist did not chk him in until 16mins after which at that point the Optometrist came out and told him, he was late and she wasn't going to be able to see him, that he needed to reschedule. I explained that we had checked him in on time, she then asked the receptionist and she first said yes we got there on time. When asked why she didn't check us in she shrugged her shoulders. Then she asked her if we had been sitting there waiting and she said no. Then continued to lie about the time we checked my son in. I payed over 600 dollars for my glasses, it had a film on it and are scratched. I had purchased the scratch resistant lenses. I tried to complaint to the "Manager" named TOM but he was very rude & arrogant, he did NOT allow me to explain or speak, he kept interrupting me and talking over me, he raised his voice at me and was very RUDE never allowing me to speak. after he was done talking he simply turned around and walked away & left me sitting there with no resolve wondering what was going to happen next I waited and I noticed he went on with his day he did not acknowledge my concerns. I will NOT be returning. I now have a set of glasses that I can't use. Don't shop at LensCrafters in Victoria Gardens as they are very unprofessional. So disappointed walked in at 8:45 PM, thought we were be able to order a pair of glasses, the two employees there had a face like they didn't want to help, they were ready to go home. I told my husband it's probably best that we come tomorrow and the gentleman said yes it would be better. About a month ago, we also walked in pretty late. My daughter received her prescription from LensCrafters in San Bernardino a month or so ago. She didn't have time to choose lenses. We walk into the Victoria Gardens location, not one hello, not one smile, NOTHING! Now I know why your store was empty. "Salespeople not selling". What a concept. Yes, your job is to not only sell things but you need to greet customers-the reason you're getting a paycheck! This is why other stores are closing nationwide! You better step up your game, she was there to purchase Tiffany glasses. $500 sale, right out the door! I'm sure your corporate office will eventually read this. You have so many online competitors that sell for a lot less! She just happened to like this pair. Not brand, just how pretty they are. The store was well kept and the staff was friendly but I think it will be my last visit to LensCrafters, ridiculously expensive and there is some kind of scam going on with EyeMed insurance. I got my last pair of glasses there in 2022 but won't be back. With my insurance they wanted a co-pay of over $600. The difference in my out of pocket cost was almost the same if I used my insurance or not. There is/was a "sale" goin on but I was told the sale prices don't apply if you use insurance; what's up with that? There's definitely some kind of scam going on, LensCrafters is owned by Luxottica, which also owns EyeMed Vision insurance, Ray-Ban and Oakley... sounds like fraud/illegal to me. Anyway, they lost my business, I got the Oakley frames I wanted with progressive Transition Drivewear lenses online for a total of $235, less than half the co-pay @ LensCrafters. read more

I've been going here for about 7 years. It was exceptional staffing the time I went; employees were authentic, friendly. The second time I went I had a very POINTED conversation with the manager (assuming); heavy set, white male in his early fifties. He was, for the sake of naming him something too horrible, annoying. He kept calling me 'buddy'. About a month ago I went in for the third time. Was helped out by this really amazing employee; upbeat, Latin male in his mid thirties. He was very personable. I then went in for a fourth time (last week), and though I saw the same guy that helped me last in the store? The manager basically cornered me (yes THAT one). And yeah... you guess it, he kept calling me 'buddy'. Granted I popped off before in the nicest way possible, but I'm trying really hard not to. Im trying to be a good Catholic man and not check this dude. Anyway, the manager ended not helping me. If anything, he was more dismissive than helpful. I'm assuming I made an impression on him when I first encountered him (as mentioned above) after a miscommunication on paperwork with me. Eye exams are very thorough and accurate using various machines which appear to be state-of-the-art. There's a discount if you're a member of AAA Auto Club. Joanna, the eye exam technician, was nice and efficient. Also, Dr. Uy was fantastic. She diagnosed my eye sight and clearly explained my options. Everything went smoothly. Not too much pressure from staff to sell eye glasses and contact lens. My appointment was right on schedule. Will be a repeat customer, seems like they value repeat business. read more

Was unable to get any information from store they claimed they did not have access. When I called corporate, they said store has access to same information they do. Assistant Manager Nick was extremely helpful. He adjusted my glasses as they were slightly too big for my face (frame-wise) so he utilized a heat machine to slightly denature the center of the frame and make them more accommodating to my head shape and ears (hard to believe, I know!) First and foremost, I was very happy with this Lenscrafters but my recent experience would have made anyone boiling mad. I went there to have my glasses made all the way from San Dimas to Rancho Cucamonga which is a 30 mile drive. and I was tended by a "Supposed" license care adviser by the name of DANIEL LOPEZ whom I told SPECIFICALLY that I wanted the same poly carbonate lenses, and after waiting around the garden for an hour and a half when I came back he hands me my glasses these THICK plastic lenses on them, and I said "This is NOT what I asked you for" and out of frustration I said "This is bullshit" he automatically said to me "Do not use that language or I'll have you removed from my store, and I said "Excuse me?" I TOLD YOU clearly what I wanted, and you give me this?" He then admitted that it was his mistake and that he misunderstood me and then had me pay another $53.00 dollars to have poly carbonate put on my frames. He then said that it would take a couple of days for them to order the lenses, when I came back he handed me my glasses with a little less thicker lenses but they were still THICK and by this time I'm losing my patience dealing with his INCOMPETENCE AND STUPIDITY I told him to look at the original size of my lenses that I was holding on my hand, he was handing me and insisting that they were poly carbonate, I declined NOT to accept anything other then what I had paid for and AGAIN he said that it would take 10 days to order the lenses I wanted, by this time I asked for the phone number for the District manager and that I would be filing a complaint for I am a Legal Investigator for a Law Firm, Yelp is my first step... As I returned 10 days later, he handed me my glasses finally with the right size of lens and told me that the technician had said that I would have to come back A G A I N !! For the lenses he put on them were a bit scratched and I did notice that, after the FIFTH time including my eye exam trip that I went back after they called me saying "Your lenses were ready, and will only take a few minutes to be replaced" Thinking to myself "Wonderful, it's about time this nightmare ends" I walked in at 1:30 PM and said "I'm here to have my lenses changed. And here comes DANIEL LOPEZ again holding my glasses on his hand, to tell me that the lenses wouldn't be ready till 4:30 PM I snatched my glasses from his hands and told him "I CANNOT BELIEVE HOW INCOMPETENT YOU PEOPLE ARE!!" Once again telling him "THIS IS BEYOND STUPID AND BULLSHIT" and he pointed his finger at the door telling me "GET OUT OF MY STORE!!" and I replied "I AM THE CUSTOMER, AND I HAVE RIGHTS THAT YOU ARE VIOLATING WITH THIS ABUSE, AND IF YOU PEOPLE CANNOT GET THINGS RIGHT AFTER COMING BACK HERE FOR THE FIFTH TIME, THAT'S IT!!
