I took my graduation pictures here from college! Beautiful different spots to capture these amazing memories!

I delivered flowers to this beautiful venue. Staff is very helpful, beautiful place to have any size gathering or party.

My *Husband and I just got married here this past weekend. All of our friends and family are still talking about how magical the wedding was. If you are a bride to be looking for your venue look no further. This venue helps you find all your vendors, partnering with DJs catering and Gary Ransom DJ was the best decision ever. Having a venue that helps you every step of the way is kind of unheard of now a days. We didn't even need florals at the wedding because the venue is perfect already. We just did bouquets and that was it. Huge shoutout to Laura here, she was our day of coordinator and really made my dreams come alive. There's a house on property that we rented and did our rehearsal dinner at and the girls got ready here. I just can't express my happiness and gratitude for this venue.

EXCELLENT Wedding Venue and Team to work with :) Selecting Rancho de las Palmas for our wedding venue was an easy decision for my husband and I to make! Besides being an absolutely gorgeous location with great photo spots throughout the property (our guests loved exploring the scenery of the venue), Rancho de las Palmas has an excellent team to work with to guarantee a stress-free and successful wedding day! Laura and her team are incredibly friendly, personable, and professional. They were great to work with from start to finish: from the first tour of the property to the final hour of our wedding day! Laura and her team took time to pay extra attention to all the tiniest details that mattered to my husband and I (timeline-wise, décor-wise, etc.) in order to execute our dream wedding! The day itself (and even the wedding preparation and planning) flowed smoothly thanks to her expertise and coordination. My husband and I knew we didn't need to worry at all about our special day because it was in great hands with Laura and her team!

It's been exactly two months since my husband and I said I do and we are still in awe from our wedding! When we toured the venue with Laura we fell in love with the natural beauty all around! Any spot and every spot is amazing for pictures. All of our guests were amazed by the venue and how great everything was. Everyone raved about the food from DJ's Catering and enjoyed dancing the night away to DJ Gary's playlist! Laura was our coordinator and really helped us tie things together and helped us stay organized as the day got closer! With our vision and her artistic eye she really helped make our day magical and went above and beyond! Oh!!! If you have little fur babies and would like them included on your big day Laura allowed us to include ours it wouldn't have been the same without them!

We cannot say enough good things about having our wedding at Rancho De Las Palmas. We just got married in June and the grounds were flourishing and looked beautiful. We loved all the different areas for our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. Laura and the team were wonderful to work with too. Laura met with us multiple times throughout our planning process, let us bring our families to tour the grounds and was always willing to answer any questions we had. The pay it forward room was a blessing for small items and Laura's team did a wonderful job setting up all our décor the day of our wedding. We had everything labeled and talked about where we wanted it the week before, and they ran with it, not having to reach out to us once. Highly recommend RDLP!

My daughter's wedding at Rancho de las Palmas was amazing from beginning to end! Laura was so helpful and available any time we had questions. She was very hands on and worked with every vision my daughter had. She also gave great recommendation for the florist-they were amazing and so reasonable priced! We used the house rental for the wedding party both the night before and after the wedding which was a huge help. It was nice for them all to be together the night before, after the rehearsal dinner -which we had there too. They were able to get ready and relax all in one place-and not have to worry about timing or traffic since they were already at the location. I highly recommend the house rental! We used every part of the Rancho--the boys got ready in the house, the girls got ready (hair and makeup) in the bridal suite at the venue. Then did pics and got dressed in the master bedroom of the house. The wedding was on the large patio with a tent (as it had been raining the day before and morning of)-the cocktail hour was outside in the area around the water with plenty of room for everyone. And the dinner reception was inside. The food was amazing. Everyone we knew said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had-loved the catering service and they were so great to deal with as well. The house DJ was so awesome-once the dancing started the dance floor was full until the end of the wedding. All in all it was an amazing day. I've added as many pics as I could from all different locations around the property! If you have to make a choice-o really don't think you can go wrong with Rancho De Las Palmas!!

My husband and I got married here 6/5/2022 and we are SO grateful we did! We had a Polynesian/Hawaiian themed wedding and this venue is perfect for a destination getaway feeling without the price tag! - Many guests commented how beautiful it was and said it was one of the most beautiful venues they've ever been to - They let you pick your own vendors which was a huge selling point for us. The only exception is the catering must be offered by DJs catering but they were excellent! - When comparing with similar venues (I looked at at least 20) in the area this was actually one of the more affordable locations! Take it from a bride on a budget with champagne taste! - There wasn't a ton of upgrades like other wedding venues made you choose in order to get "the look". Highly recommend paying for Laura's wedding day service and Joan to help as well (vendor list). Both are great and affordable. The best part is Laura, the coordinator, had a room full of goodies to use which saved us tons (table numbers, table and other wedding decor, welcome signs, card box, etc.). - One of the most important things you can have on your wedding day is great support. Laura, Joan, and the whole staff was very on point! They met with me several times before the day, offered a 2 week walk through (other venues don't always offer this), answered any questions I had, and celebrated with us! Laura and I still talk to this day she is so awesome. Also highly recommend Aaron Watene for singer/DJ, Monica Duny Photography, Jenkins Wedding Photography, and Sweet Escake Desserts (Josel). All excellent vendors. SO in summary, best day ever! You will love it here!!!

No words will ever be enough to describe how absolutely beautiful this venue is, simply Stunning! We fell in love with it as soon as We walked it. I was lucky enough to have my wedding here 9/1/19 and my guests are still talking about it. I can honestly say I had a magical wedding not to mention STRESS free thanks to Laura. She was our coordinator for the day, best decision we've made she was beyond amazing. No hiccups and if there was I was not aware which was perfect. The venue made my photos beyond perfect. Anywhere you stand is a photo opportunity. We didn't have to leave for photos everything was here. The bridal suite is beautiful, perfect set up with mirrors and lighting for your makeup & hair stylist! (My stylist LOVED the set up) We used their preferred caterer- DJ's Catering and it was a perfect fit. We went with the buffet style and everything was amazing. Honestly, I am still on a high from how amazing and just magical my wedding was. Beyond shocked that this was my wedding. Thank you Rancho De Las Palmas & especially Laura for making our day more than Perfect. Definitely could not have done this without her. I'm sharing some photos! I wish I can post them all. If you are reading this review in search for a venue STOP your search and contact them. You will fall in love!

The end of the night and all has ran smooth.

The bride had a Lord of the Rings themed wedding and this place was absolutely perfect!!! It looked just like The Shire. The weather was somewhat chilly since the wedding ceremony took place in the late afternoon, but it was decorated so beautifully. The food was great and the service was also satisfactory as well. We were served our alcoholic beverages, champagne, and food, all within a reasonable timeframe. I wasn't sure whether or not I should be thanking the caterer for this, or the wedding coordinator. Even the restrooms were nice and clean. The bride and groom rented these miniature cows to come and hang with us for part of the reception. I thought that was a really nice touch. There was plenty of parking, but the only thing is you have to drive quite a bit to find this place- it's a hidden behind another type of farmer's market/pumpkin patch farm in the front.

Would 100% recommend Walnut Grove to anyone in SoCal looking for an awesome wedding venue.

The most striking feature of all was the precision demonstrated by Soltana Mulhearn, and her team from Velvet Alley Events. https://www.instagram.com/velvetalleyevents/ From first meeting at rehearsal Soltana greeted the party, took us on a tour of the lovely property, and explained how the ceremony would be conducted. Soltana's deft handling of the 25, or so, members of the wedding party, all while being patient, and with a smile, was more than reassuring to me, and the others as well. Her staff seamlessly underpinned the event. Her staff were professional, well trained, and just beautiful people. A live event can go "off" at any time. Soltana kept the wedding on track from start to finish, and all with that smile! I would, without hesitation, highly recommend Eden Gardens, and the amazing services of Velvet Alley Events. Thank you. A. Corrao

Then, many other buildings are also tucked into the areas behind the museum, so it is indeed much larger than I expected! The day I was here, they were setting up for a conference (2026 Reagan National Economic Forum), a few days off, so tons of white tents, stages, and chairs were all over - ruined some great photo opportunities! I couldn't even see the F-14 and the Abrams tank out back until I was between the many tents, but on a normal day, it would be easier to approach them. The entrance is at the back of the entrance courtyard, and I strongly suggest you get the audio tour! It fills in many gaps in the display signage (which, strangely for me, was often hard to read - lighting? Not enough contrast between text and background? Type size?). Most displays had a number that you accessed on the device, which was itself easy to use. But be aware - before you turn in your device at the bookstore or entrance desk, go outside to the back, where the Berlin Wall segment, the Gold Star Families Memorial Monument, and the Reagan memorial site are; there are several displays out there with audio guide numbers, but I had already turned in my device, not knowing this. The America 250 "special exhibit," which had opened the week before, was worth the extra admission fee. Many wonderful, old artifacts, many from the 1700s and 1800s, that really bring you face to face with various periods of the nation's birth and growth. There is even a lower floor to that exhibit space, with large paintings in terms of size and grandeur, along with many displays of items such as vintage flags, rifles of all types from eras gone by, historical documents, garments and uniforms, and much more. Overall, rather than repeating many other reviews here, I will point out that you should set aside a day here to ensure you have enough time to visit and read all the displays you can. There was a ton of new information I never knew about Reagan! And one of my favorite aspects was the many quotes of his placed throughout the museum. So many were beautiful for their principles and what we - and America - are called to do in life. In these times, to hear these words from an iconic Republican president truly struck me in ways I had not anticipated. The Air Force One display, of course, is also cool. And the helicopter, Marin One! And the various vehicles, including an authentic "beast" (If I remember the nickname properly) and a Secret Service chase vehicle. There is also on the floor above the vehicles a history of the Secret Service, and on the ground floor, a mural depicting all of the planes in history that have officially flown a president. The pub in the hangar was closed, but you could peek at it from above. Much history, many beautiful displays in the special "America 250" exhibit, and the outdoor F-117 Nighthawk Stealth Fighter, M1 Abrams tank, and F-14 are must-sees, but you need to find them! May have to ask directions to them. And of course, the Oval Office is different as well. This one is subtle, designed like a comfortable ranch living room with western desert color themes, and it is always fun to step into the office and imagine the conversations that happened there. And the jellybeans! They, too, are there. If you have a day in or near north LA or Simi Valley itself, give it a visit.

The exhibits layout is confusing so you have to go through the entrance twice for some reason. I think they're trying to feed you through the gift shopped twice.
