I don't drink wine so I know nothing. Then she also let me sample their sparkling almond wine, now that was absolutely delicious!!! I got a bottle to share with my mom and husband. We liked it so much that my mom went back and got a case . The outside of the winery is beautiful with views of the Bear Valley springs and Tehachapi mountains. The inside of the winery has a cabin feel, lots of tables to sit at and a bar. There is even an outside area to sit at and enjoy the view. It was smoky and subtle at first, with a rich tannin finish and a warm, soft whisper of bourbon. Barely noticeable, but definitely there. I loved this wine and ended up buying several bottles to enjoy later. The Food: I'm not sure why I wasn't expecting this, because as the name implies, they really know their beef. This is a winery that partners with a butcher for the finest selections of mountain-grown beef and they clearly have a man (or woman) on the inside because their cuts were fantastic. My wife raved about the tri-tip salad, and I can honestly say I've never had a better smash burger... Ever. It was called the Black & Blue and featured two fresh smash patties smothered with grilled onions, cheddar, and blue cheese. The cheese intentionally overflowed the burgers and melted onto the grill, creating a ring of crispy, chewy cheddar and blue cheese around the entire edge of the burger. Absolutely fantastic. The Staff: The staff were outstanding. I had a great conversation with the owners, Mike and Beth, about their community and what they're building. Their passion and joy were obvious. Mia and Rhonda were attentive, friendly, respectful, and professional. Tie all of that together with a beautiful view of the Cummings Valley and I don't know what more I could have hoped for. Such great service, scenery was lovely ( a country feel) and the WINE! I ordered a bottle of wine, and my boyfriend got the wine tasting. My friends went for getting glasses of wine which everyone loved their choices. Very tasty selection of food. We got the charcuterie plate which was beautiful and a good size. My favorite was the loaded tater tots with their yummy chili. Next time the smash burger. Another customer ordered it and it looked amazing. The owners were very kind, warm and friendly. We both enjoyed them. The winery was hosting a comedy show and dinner that night, they had only 2 empty tables and a few tickets left, so we snatched them up with a table. Awesome comedy show with 4 comedians including the owner of The Well comedy club in Bakersfield. I was able to meet the owner of the winery, Mike, who was so nice and accommodating. He has great staff who are ready to suggest wines, and serve you. This place is a hidden gem that does it all right there!

It was a summer picnic type of atmosphere. Upon checking in we received A glass of Sparkling Blanc de Rose' by Blanc de Bleu. The bubbles were so refreshing on a warm Bakersfield evening. We were served Two still French Rose's, Vin de Provence AIX from Provence and Cape Bleue Rose' by Jean Luv Colombo of France. Next was a Spanish white wine Abarino by Lagan D Cervera. Then going back to South of France to slip into something red with Syrah Grenache by Cote' Mas. We finished with a Red Blend of Monastrel, Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah by Juan Gil. Whether you experience the party bus to visit the wineries or breweries or you just want safe transportation for a group party or Tehachapi event, Olde Vineyard Charm's party bus is the way to go. On our experience, Kim's husband Bill was the driver of our tour bus and a joy to visit with. My dad is a smoker and Bill provided great company. I appreciate that the bus is truly a party bus. They have lights, space to dance, you are able to drink on it and a fun sound system. We hooked up your music playlist, they provide snacks, and water. If you do the tour, you choose three places you would like to visit and get lunch and tastings or a glass of wine or beer (if a brewery) at each location. We chose to go to two tasting rooms and a brewery. The bus has a tv with all the fun events of the town but if you are celebrating a special time or would like pictures to be shown she will have a slideshow going. My friends had a blast! We enjoyed drinks and experienced some of Tehachapi's best spots!
