I'm writing regarding Leslie Seevers, the manager of the Rancho Del Sol apartment complex in Peoria, AZ. I began an online search for apartments and Leslie answered my request for information about Rancho Del Sol. I contacted several apartment complexes, but only a few responded. Of those few, none were as friendly, inviting and as thorough as Leslie. She responded quickly and answered ALL of my questions completely and thoroughly. I am amazed at how well versed she is regarding every topic I inquired about. Her answers were kind and thoughtful. I have sent soooo many emails to her that I lost count. They have been filled with soooo many questions! Yet she never once made me feel like I was bothering her or an interruption to her day. She set expectations realistically, told me I would probably have to be on a waiting list because there was very little turn over at Rancho Del Sol. I know low turn over is a reflection of good management. I am totally impressed with Leslie's follow up and professionalism. I don't think I need to look any further for my next place to live. :) read more

Update- The place has rats running around putting people health at risk, 2 rats were in my ceiling attic and 2 more found outside on the patio. The vinyl is cheap and tears easy. I lived there for 6 yrs and had normal wear and tear plus whoever lived in there before me had the same vinyl because it looked used then. They charged me for all the vinyl as if it need to be replaced when only one area needed replaced and they said the entire carpet needed replacement when all they had to do was clean the carpet which cost 30.99 per room and deep clean a pot in the closet which cost 49.99. Instead they chose to take my entire $900 deposit saying they needed to remove everything (LIES). Lieing saying it cost them all this money to clean and repair when I have pictures which I'll post later. They look for reasons to take your money don't move there. The train at night or in the mourning is annoying. The rats running around risk of rabies from possibly getting bite especially for small children. They are using a parking spot.. I repeat a parking spot as a basketball court! Then complain about the teenagers running around making noise when there's no place to hang out. They were supposed to give me a 90 day notice before termination of lease but FAILED and only gave me 60 days which made it harder to find a suitable and better place to live. The pool has many people getting sick due to the build up of bacteria. They dont care about the tenets they care about money and how much they can get from you when you move out. My advice find a better place with people who care and offer free carpet cleaning as an incentive to stay each year so you not left footing the bill for a new carpet they could clean but would rather remove all so they can get more money from you. Never trust Corporations they not for the people they are against you. read more

The front desk and the maintenance people are ass. They don't fix nothing like they're supposed to. They blame you for everything even normal wear and tear and they charge you for it too when you move. This is a crime ridden neighborhood. and Funny Two of the reviews are from the new Manager and Office staff who 99% of the time are/were amazing as individuals a tad gossipy. I was there before Lidic took over and didn't have a complaint in the world. Then I had a crazy mice infestation they were everywhere. They sent out pest control and maintenance to close holes and you know what got em? Me getting a pet rent payment and a cat! Ol, the mouse traps did Happen to catch some and their friends decided to feast on their catch's' One was suffering when I find it. My refrigerator leaked and ruined food for over a year one time I was told it had too much food in the freezer ?!? Really?!? There was a group of little girls who bullied the neighborhood who management could care less about. The carpet when I moved in needed replacing and was to be notated as I turned in pictures but they vanished with the new management, my back door was popped in December of 2016 and someone stole my purse off my kitchen table which was my fault for not placing provided pin in door. I bailed on my lease and will be paying for existing and i don't give a shit move out I must say I don't regret moving out while they work on becoming "luxury lol". Below is the letter to corporate along with photos of my e mail to them. Ms Andrea, Thank you for your reply although i have never met you and have no clue who you are but it would look horrible If the other staff members who left reviews commented it would further prove my point. I am aware of my financial issues being upset and commenting as you have is quite un professional as well as posting pictures as I also am awAre of the conditions my apartment was left in as well as move in which you happen to have no documentation of the condition of carpet counters, cabinets etc when I moved in. I also have never ever in my life had issues because my freezer was too full, funny even when empty it did the same thing so I guess it was too full then also? You just solidified my complaints thank you for that. I'm sure the 3k I am Making payments on will more than cover that and about the cleanliness of my home etc That has nothing to do with the mouse situation and funny once holes were patched they never returned. read more

I'm in the process of trying to move in here. I lived here years ago and the management was terrible. Now, they are awesome! Joy was very kind and took time to answer all of my questions and address my concerns. They have updated the office and are updating the property as well. I really hope it works out for me to live here. The town homes are awesome and very fairly priced. Definitely a great complex! read more

As of July 1st I moved away from my loving home left a lot of good people that I love and care for I'll still stay in touch I was here three years and 4 months loved every bit about it everything about it . I could not help myself I just wanted to let my complex no I truly appreciate the fast service that our maintenance guys do here at Rancho Del Sol. The maintenance supervisor John is awesome when it comes to dealing with us as tenants. Jonathan goes around and making sure that our property is super clean and he also has coming to my apartment to take care of things. Arnold is so awesome words cannot express how appreciative I am to his Speedy service and coming in and making sure my apartment stays the way that I like it. I have been here for 2 years now and I do not have any complaints whatsoever in regards to any of the staff. And the staff that currently left to go and do other work with other companies. Again I just wanted to let everyone Across the Nation know that if you ever decide to come to Phoenix Arizona stop by Rancho Del Sol if you are looking for an apartment. I can't forget the current people that are in the office Juan, Jessica. And I have no idea how to spell this other lady's name so I'm going to do my best her name is Itsell trust me I know it's spelled wrong however these three people that are on the property now they are considered travelers to where they travel throughout the nation for Aspen. But just getting to know them I am well pleased. Even though I miss Kaylee and Leslie the current individuals that our that is running the property right now make laugh and smile. I haven't had my coffee and walked in the back like I normally do to get my creamer but I think it's going to be all right. Lol oh I forgot to mention the manager who is going to be coming back her name is Randy I met her and she is awesome as well. She is on maternity leave and I can't wait for her to get back. My son, daughter, & I hope to be moving here in November. On my 1st visit to the property, I received a folder with floor plans, prices, amenities, rules, income criteria, deposit info, pet info, & more. The staff was friendly & attentive & knowledgeable. A nice lady advised me of exactly what I needed to bring when I returned to apply to rent a 4 bedroom. We returned today & turned in our applications with the information needed. The staff was once again very friendly. They were busy, as many people came & went, but the staff seemed to handle all business very professionally & competently. I was in the office quite awhile, because I have a disability & I take a long time to fill out applications & check over forms. The staff was patient & offered us beverages. They thoroughly & accurately answered my many questions & addressed all my concerns relating to my current apartments. My current apartment does not allow tenants to have a grill. Rancho Del Sol does, as long as it has a cover & grilling is done the appropriate feet away from buildings. My current apartments pool is supposed to be open until 10 & security padlocks pool closed up to an hour early most nights. Rancho Del Sol's pools are open until 10 & they do not lock them, so if I have a few laps to finish up quietly, not a problem. I love swimming & Rancho Del Sol has 2 pools. They also have options between having a washer & dryer, or just the hook-ups for a little less $. Nice, since I have a washer & dryer & don't want to sell them or put them in the storage room. Yes, there is a storage room & not for the washer & dryer. It is for storage! The washer & dryer are actually in the unit. I won't have to walk outside for laundry. The 4 bedroom has 3 1/2 bathrooms, & several extra closets, which is great. There is plenty of parking too, which has become a challenge at many Arizona apartments/townhomes, especially during snowbird season. Parking space is not an issue at Rancho Del Sol. They have a nice clean gym area that I am excited to have onsite. The entire property looks very well maintained. Everything looks new & nothing is rundown. My son drove around the property a couple different nights & he said all activity & people just seemed normal, quiet, & nothing troubling. I lived in a house near Rancho Del Sol for years & my kids attended at Peoria High School. We never had any problems in this area. It's close to the freeway, Westgate, University of Phoenix Stadium, the ballpark, & Arrowhead Mall. I wish I could move in sooner, but my current lease runs until Nov 30th, though I will gladly move early November anyway. I should have noted the names of the nice ladies in the office, but I forgot. My daughter asked if she could keep one of their ink pens & of course they let her. I can't explain what it means to me to find people like this at a nice place that I can afford. read more

Literally the worst management I've ever encountered. I submitted an application a month ago and they said they would let me know the status within 2 days. I just cancelled the application, they are so difficult to work with and are so rude. Go elsewhere! read more

I have lived in these apartments for 3 years. I have loved living here up until Aspen took over as management. They came in and have changed the whole atmosphere. They have 5-6 people working in the office that could not care less about their renters. It used to be, a friendly office where when you went in they know you by name. They have done 6 "inspections" since taking over, which I find extremely intrusive. They have also just required a pest control visit in which they did NOT give 48 hours notice. They promise plans of improving everything, which can only mean they will start charging higher rent. All of these bots in the office, are a bunch of dingbats. Bring back Jerri and the rest of the people you fired from their jobs who have worked here for years!! read more
