I called to ask some questions and I had to talk to four different people and when I finally talked to the person I needed to speak with she said she has them phone screen, but they all asked me the same questions and kept me on hold for 25min in between each person. It's like nobody knows how to run an office. I don't know who's in charge, but they really need to realign everyone. It's actually ridiculous.

My regular MD prescribed a topical cream that helped with the flare-ups, flaking, and scaling, though it didn't eliminate or reduce the redness. I was content with the results until I lost the cream during a vacation. When I returned, my face was extremely itchy and almost purple. My doctor prescribed the cream again, and I was ready to fix the issue. Around the same time, my kids needed to see a dermatologist for their warts, which is how I discovered The Derm Bar. When Britney was helping my kids, she noticed my face and immediately wanted to help. She asked about my current treatment, not in a pushy way, but out of genuine concern. It turned out that the cream my doctor prescribed was a steroid, which had long-term repercussions and had caused my face to become dependent on it, hence the flare up when I lost it. Britney advised me to wean off the steroid and scheduled an appointment for me. She put me on a regimen of morning and evening creams and some medications to restore my skin's health. After a few weeks, my skin had significantly improved with just the creams--no more flakiness, itchiness, scaling, or burning. Britney also recommended a laser treatment, which has noticeably reduced the redness. The red nodules near my nostrils disappeared with just one zap. I'll be posting some pictures to show my progress. I can't express how wonderful my experience has been. The office and staff are incredibly friendly and great. Thanks to their services, I can now walk outside with just a tinted moisturizer and not feel embarrassed. It's truly been a life changer.

Unfortunately, my previous dermatologist did not accept the new insurance. I found Sand Dermatology on Yelp and read through the reviews before deciding to call and schedule an appointment. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The office was bright and modern, the waiting room was spacious, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. After being shown to the examination room, I waited only a short time before Dr. Pham came in. She introduced herself and asked how she could help me. I explained my concerns, and she performed a thorough upper-body skin examination. Dr. Pham not only addressed all of my concerns, but she also noticed a few things that I hadn't even been aware of. I left the office feeling very pleased and confident that she genuinely cared about my well-being, even though it was my first visit with her. While I liked my previous dermatologist and would have continued seeing him, I often felt that some of my concerns were not taken as seriously especially after going there for well over a decade. With Dr. Pham, every concern was acknowledged immediately and addressed thoroughly. If you're looking for a new dermatologist, I highly recommend asking for Dr. Pham at Sand Dermatology. Extremely disappointing experience…read more I really don't like leaving bad reviews, especially for a medical office, but after today's experience I feel other patients deserve to know what happened. I have been going to their Chino location for keloid injections and was referred to the Upland location for V-Beam laser treatment to improve the remaining redness. I had my consultation with PA Kristin Mickelson on August 10. During that consultation, Kristin did not clearly tell me that my 4-year-old daughter was absolutely prohibited from accompanying me. I was told that if my daughter stayed in the treatment room, she would need to wear protective glasses. Based on that information, I understood that bringing my daughter was allowed under those conditions. When I scheduled my treatment afterward, a front desk employee also told me that the treatment would only take about 15 minutes and that they could keep an eye on my daughter while I received my treatment. I relied on what their own staff told me. I took a day off work and drove approximately 1.5 hours each way to the Upland office. When I arrived, I received yet another set of instructions about where my daughter could stay. At one point, staff even brought me to a separate waiting room and told me my daughter could wait there while I received my treatment. Then, only a few minutes later, the office manager came in and told me they could not treat me because they could not supervise my child and that I would have to reschedule without bringing her. I was shocked and extremely disappointed. I completely understand that a medical office may have safety policies regarding children. What I do not understand is why those policies were not clearly communicated to me, why I received conflicting information from the PA and front desk staff, and why I was allowed to travel all the way there only to be turned away. I even returned to the office after initially leaving because I had already taken the day off and driven three hours round trip. I was willing to have my daughter wear protective glasses and remain with me, but the office manager still refused to provide my treatment. I also asked about the consultation fee/deposit because the treatment I had scheduled was not performed. Instead of acknowledging the communication failure, I was told I should listen to the physician rather than the front desk staff. But I was following the information provided by their own employees. What made this experience even worse was the complete lack of empathy or apology for the inconvenience. I did not feel that anyone took responsibility for the conflicting information I had been given. The interaction with the office manager also ended very unprofessionally, with the office door being slammed. After this experience, I have completely lost confidence in this office and will not be returning to the Upland location. This review is not about expecting special treatment because I have a child. It is about clear communication, proper staff training, accountability, and basic respect for patients' time. If a policy is strict, tell patients clearly before they take time off work and drive hours for an appointment. I hope management takes this seriously and reviews how this situation was handled. Patients should not have to pay the price for inconsistent communication between their own staff members.

I drove to the facility -- arriving 30 minutes early -- and was completing their online check-in when they started repeatedly calling me shortly before my appointment time. When I walked in, I was told they had "just now" reviewed my chart and the doctor decided he did not want to perform the procedure. As a result, I now have to reschedule and essentially start the entire process over again. I find it very unprofessional that my information was apparently not reviewed until the last minute, despite having over a month to do so. This feels like a clear administrative failure and showed very little respect for my time, effort, or the cost of traveling to the appointment. With today's gas prices and busy schedules, this was a complete waste of my day. I expected much better communication and organization from a medical office.

Horrible experience, I was in so much pain after surgery. My breasts are uneven, I have terrible…read morescars. I got capsular contracture. My nipples are an inch in difference of height of each other. The staff/nurses are rude and mean to you in the surgery center. They don't give you pain meds when you wake up from surgery. They just tell you to take your meds when you get home and wheel you out to your car moaning in pain within 30 mins after you wake up from surgery!! This is a chop shop straight out of a horror movie! Dr Park is more worried about being a celebrity than keeping up good plastic surgery!
