Pros - It's pet friendly. - Roght next to freeway, mall and most popular stores and places for food. - Rent is a fair price for what you get. - Laundry in site. No hook ups for individual units. - Safe and quiet. Really peaceful for the most part. Cons - Can't use pool when you want and can only have people in pool area that live in your unit. so no family gatherings. - Property Mangers are EXTREMELY hard to get ahold of. they'll answer your first call or text but after that they'll leave you on read or send you to voicemail for a few days. - During the rainy season of 2023 some units had leaks coming through the roof. Once the rain stopped management sent a text that roofers would be coming to fix it. a few months later and no fixes have happened. - They tow everything. They don't have enough tenant parking so they have turned most guest parking into tenant parking. - Units are outdated and owners refuse to do updates. If you can get updates done it is done by the lowest bidder and not the highest quality of work. - Electrical is dated in the units and with modern appliances the breaker is constantly needing to be reset. - Security gate doesn't have shrubs around it so people from the street can see in and there have been a couple break ins to peoples cars. All in all it isn't a bad place to live. Lived here a few years and other than the cons I posted I don't have any complaints.

There are enough laundry facilities here that you rarely ever have to wait for a washer and dryer. The gardeners come every week. Maintenance and pest control are on point and the units are NICE. The Colorado Commons is beautiful and well run. The apartments (flats/townhomes) are spacious and amazing inside and the residents are friendly and respectful of everyone and everything around them. The grounds are well kept, and the homes are maintained perfectly by the management company. There is always someone available to take care of an emergency, or even change a light bulb! It is easy living in a downtown setting and we have enjoyed it thoroughly! Call Michelle in the office for an appt. She is so sweet and helpful and if there isn't one available check back often! I mean even Zillow says basics, make sure when looking around to get the license info of the agency and the agent. What was upsetting was this was not information given to me upfront by anyone I spoke with. And as it turned out their location is unlisted with their company license?? Even if this was to be set aside, the absolute deal(heart)breaking information was what made me walk away. Pages and pages of evictions, criminal complaints, investigations over fraud, lead paint, raw sewage problems, and neglected conditions, none mentioned in showings, and now knowing the place I looked at was involved in a wrongful death lawsuit. But reading about so many people losing their homes, in one instance a family evicted on XMAS EVE, a woman with kids! absolutely a NO GO. Apparently owned by two sisters, Malina and Fariba Tavakkoli, who seemed to be the only ones qualified to assist me, but not even a card or mention in person from anyone. As a landlord myself, it was very disturbing to see the amount of distance these owners place between themselves and their responsibilities to their tenants and properties. Most concerning was how difficult it was to determine if this company was legitimate at all, no available brokers, zero history about their business or records of any affiliates, awards, certifications, and no proof they owned any property at all. Very shady, wouldn't trust them.
