Unprofessional. Poor work. 1. First experience. Dr. Hemu Patel said he could fix a receding gum but when he was done all he did was cover the root of the two teeth in white so I look like I have vampire teeth. I am now doing to periodontist to fix his work. 2. My second experience. I had whitening trays made. I was told to pick them up but when I did so, Dr. Patel was furious saying I should not have left without him seeing me. He sent me a nasty email. I explained in a professional response that I was instructed I could just pick them up and I was sorry for the confusion. He responded by dropping me as a client. Amazing dental clinic in Irving . Dr Patel has been excellent. I has been visited his office more than 10 years. All personal is super friendly, and both hygienists and ruses are also excellent. My mom is always with Kathy, she is very enthusiastic and gentle for elderly. I am highly recommend her for your parents who are scared of teeth cleaning. I have gone through several clinics in my time in Dallas , and most treat you like an annoyance. Not in here. They make you feel like they really care about you. 100% recommended. read more

I was a patient for several years and since the beginning I was told that because I had receding gum lines, I would have to make appointments every 3 months for periodontal cleaning. After several visits I inquired with my insurance wondering why the coverage was so minimal, and they said these dentists were not true periodontal dentists, thus there could not be full coverage. I was never informed of this by the office and even though my gums were no longer measured "more than the average", I no longer wanted periodontal visits, but the receptionist said she could not NOT schedule them without the approval of the dentist. It was simply a tactic for more money. I no longer wanted to be scammed so I have chosen to go elsewhere. TRUST is huge for me when seeking any medical or dental care. read more

I was turned on to Ranchview Family Dentistry about 2 years ago by a recommendation from a friend. The Patel brothers Jay and Hemu and their support staff are by far the best I have ever had. I was in need of major dental work and they were significantly cheaper than anyone in the DFW metroplex and even worked with me on a payment plan to help disperse the cost over time. They have a state of the art facility and use cutting edge technology and techniques. I have always been a little nervous with other dentists but they made me feel at ease. I have recommended them to all of my family and friends and I would recommend them to anyone. My experience with Dr. Patel was excellent. I had not been to the dentist for 15 years for fear of being prescribed unnecessary treatments. Dr. Patel spent a lot of time examining my gums, my bite, and doing different x-rays. I had some tartar build up and I was very happy that he personally cleaned my teeth for me (in many dentists' offices, that job is delegated to a hygenist). He took his time and was very gentle. At the end of the cleaning, he told me I had a clean bill of health, except for some gum recession that could be controlled with better brushing techniques. Thank God for such caring dentist. I broke my front teeth and chipped them both when eating a pork chop and it was late on a Friday and I had to leave a message. The Dr. himself returned my call that same day as to say not on his watch. He did not even waste any time and told me to come in on Monday and he would take care of me. I did as he said and he took care of me and I cannot even find the words to describe the work he did on my teeth. I could not tell I chipped either of my teeth and the color matched my teeth. He treated me like he would himself because he knew and knows the important that I stressed in my call. With everything going on today, this was such an act of caring for people and their needs without any selfishness at all. I truly felt like I was his family member sitting in that chair as though my life depended on it. Bad expereince with Dr. patel.. I was having pain on upper teeth and he said there is problem in lower teeth and wanted to put crown on that,since crown was more expensive than filling upper teeth.. I didn't listen to him and asked to fill upper teeth and now I am alright.. Later I get a call from his office asking when I come to crown which cost $750.. I said I am doing fine.. Also, he asks pay immediately rather than sending bill to home and he calculated and got $50 from me; after follow-up couple of times, he returned my money.. So, becareful.. Soooooo....I'm one of those idiots who hasn't gone to the dentist in a REALLY long time. Fear of dentists. Always hated the process. Well, I paid for it a week or so ago with a toothache that was ruining my life. Anyone who has dealt with an infected tooth/cavity knows exactly what I'm talking about. Had to live with it for 4 horror filled days. Did some research and found Ranchview Family Dentistry in my neighborhood and set the appointment. They got me in the next day and the root canal process began. I told them about how I felt about dentists and they did all the x-rays, took care of the insurance for me and even had most of my paperwork already filled out when I got there. They told me what they were doing and why, made sure I was comfortable and did it all respectfully. I have been back twice (root canals are a process) but they helped me with the pain. It was gone a few minutes after I sat down. I have felt no pain since then, even after the process and the temporary crown. They talked to me about all the issues I now have (people, go to the Dentist, don't be like me) and we have a plan of attack to get me teeth back in order. Dr. Patel and his staff are the best, wish I'd known about them before because I couldn't be happier with the way I've been treated and taken care of. I have visited ranch view dentistry for regular cleaning. Explained to me about my gums status with numbers which is really good. Cleaning was good with care. I have gone to other dentist where there were no assist to manage suction pipe and most of the time water spills on face. Ranch view team managed exceptionally well. They give you treatment plan with cost. We can decided when we can for each treatment. I would recommend 100% this clinic for dental related. Please check your coverage before appointment. read more

They are professional, but they do overcharge. They have to pay for their brand new facilities which are very good, but lots of add on services are pushed on you. They present you with a estimated charge which always ends up to be much lower than the actual amount that you end up paying. I don't have a problem with their work but I will try to find somebody else who is not trying to up sell and is a bit cheaper. read more

I have been going to Ranchview Family Dentistry for years now and I have never had a bad experience! On my last visit, I brought my wife who was having some tooth pain that was misdiagnosed by another Dentist. Without an appointment, they made time for her and within minutes, identified the issue as a Wisdom tooth that needed to come out immediately. They scheduled her for an 8 am extraction the next morning. My wife and I will definitely be customers for life. I can't thank them enough for the amazing work they do and the care they give their patients.
