My initial call to the office set me at ease. The staff there are friendly and professional. Dr. Hoang was able to see me the next day and the pre-visit protocols they have in place made me feel less anxious about my appointment. Dr. Hoang is an extremely competent dentist who knows his business! During the rebonding process he explained to me everything he was preforming. He also explained what was the cause and potential alternative solutions. I thought my previous long time dentist was good, Dr. Hoang made me realize how not so good my previous dentist was. Unfortunately, I've had this procedure done many times before and I can say Dr. Hoang was a heck of a lot more through and detailed oriented in his approach. No. Was he and his dental assistant aware that my husband was in pain? Yes. His dental assistant kept saying "Im sorry" but did not ask the dentist to give him any additional numbing until the very end before he left. Overall we are very upset and disappointed in the dentist's lack of care to his patient's pain and will not be coming back here again. The only plus side to our visit was the kind and helpful staff at the front desk and managing the office. They did everything they could to make sure I had everything I needed while waiting for my husband to come out of the 3+ hr procedure.

Root Canal: Anxious no more after 10+ years! I didn't feel a thing…read more I have had severe anxiety going to the dentist since I was a child due to a traumatic experience. Today was a huge step getting a root canal procedure done for the first time in years. Got one done as a child and have been terrified ever since. I even started to tear up at the office. After my procedure not only have I been freed of anxiety, but now I am more confident going to get the rest of my procedures done. Dr. Oh and dental assistant Daniel were fantastic, very quick and through. Daniel made me feel at ease as he explained the procedure. He mentioned it was the easiest procedure to do and that Dr. Oh has had years of experience. I didn't feel a thing (not even the numbing needle). I had to remove 4 wisdom teeth even though my top 2 were the ones bothering me. After the initial meeting with Dr. Gregory, he basically stated that the bottom wisdom teeth needed to be removed as they were impacted. Fair enough. The initial meeting and actual procedure were really quick I probably talked to Dr. Gregory all of 4 mins total. I woke up with some swelling, nothing too bad, and was sent on my way and started on the antibiotics and pain meds as prescribed. That's when things started going downhill. I assumed that the normal recovery time of about 3 days to a week would suffice before I recovered close to full health, however, it took me almost 6 weeks before I was pain free! My pain was coming from both impacted teeth from my bottom molars. 6 weeks however is not the usual healing timeline. The problem with this office was that there was no follow up and very minimal information regarding post procedure topics. I had to look up most of the stuff online and guess my diagnosis and prayed I wasnt having dry socket or even worse an infection. It was very difficult to set up a follow up appointment due to his busy schedule and that the office is open during normal work hours. Luckily for me I recovered on my own. I had to buy a water pic and religiously use salt water for 3 weeks and was able to eat solid food again without pain 1.5 months after the procedure. Improvement in bedside manner and having a thorough follow up process would dramatically improve the overall patient experience even if the problematic patient is few and far between.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Dominguez and it was simple to arrange an appointment. Very friendly and helpful. The actual procedure was totally painless. Even administering the deadening shot was not even felt. She gives a topical/numbing agent first. She lets you watch a movie if you would like while the procedure is going on. She explains every single thing she is doing so there are no surprises. It felt like the procedure took 15 minutes but it was probably longer since I got at least 1/3 of the way through my movie. I am on day 3 of follow up and am having no pain. My tooth is a little tender if I accidentally chew something on that side but she said not to, so I don't. My husband saw her years ago for an abscess drainage and he had the same experience. Her staff is very kind and helpful.
