I recently had a new patient visit and cleaning at Hartford Dental Associates and was very…read moreimpressed. My appointment started on time, a huge plus from the beginning. Everyone was very friendly and conversational. First, Heidi (Dental Assistant) took all of my x-rays and photographs of my teeth; she was very thorough. Next, I had my exam with Dr. Berry, who was also friendly, and I could tell he likes to joke around, which was nice, given a lot of people are anxious during dental appointments. I had a few questions, which he answered and explained next steps. Lastly, Brittnae (Registered Dental Hygienist) did my cleaning. She measured all of my periodontal pockets -- something I've never had done before, so I was highly impressed by the level of attention and care they give their patients. Brittnae explained everything she was doing and answered all of my questions. Most importantly, she was very gentle on my teeth and gums during the cleaning. The office takes all COVID safety precautions, which was such a relief. Everyone wears a mask (surgical or N95 or both), and I noticed HEPA filters throughout the office. In addition, the office is completely digital (no paper!) and very modern. Overall, I have had a very positive new patient visit and am looking forward to my next cleaning. Highly recommend!

I did not sign anything or say I would pay for services or materials I couldn't use yet they argued I owed a lab fee of $250 because they can't control what the lab does. They told my credit card company I had the partial and was satisfied. I filed a dispute with proof that it was not true and added they did not make an insurance claim which made no sense if I was satisfied--and filing one would be insurance fraud. A week before the dispute was decided Dr. Kim filed a fraudulent claim for an "oral evaluation," which it wasn't, to enable them to "win" the dispute and keep the $574 I paid in good faith. The oral eval was done and paid months earlier. Beware. A response was posted (on google) by Buckland Dental 9/12/24. Everything they accused me of, or implied, is a lie. Wicked people with a smile. Now I'll take the next step.

It was easy to make an appointment they are open for more that half a day on Saturdays. They are a children dentistry and a general family dentistry. On weekends they have a different doctor attending than the regular weekday doctor. It was clean. The wait was a little long 20 min over my appointment but that didn't bother me. They make you feel comfortable, they talk you through the procedure as they do it making sure your fine. I used to hate going to a dentist coz of all the traumatic experiences I've had but after my visit here I'm not terrified anymore.

Embarrassingly enough I ended up drooling all over half my shirt without any help during a normal cleaning. I was in severe pain and called every dentist in a 20 mile radius. Dr Lees office said come in now! (Only dentist willing to see me) In less than 5 minutes, he finished the job, stitched the hole and mentioned how could not believe that office let me keave like that. I refered every family memeber to him and all love him. He has done an amazing job for all of us. Im a little sad his office will no longer take our insurance but that doesnt mean he doesnt deserve the rating. He was the best.

After I got my tooth pulled they neglected to give me any care instructions!! I had never had one pulled and had no idea what to do to treat this. And with no instructions I ended up getting dry socket due to their neglect. I tried to contact them to let them know I had dry socket and they completely ignored me and didn't even reach back out to my message. Will never return here.

I am scared when it comes to needles but he made it painless and quick! I got prescribed pain meds right away and now I can move and talk just fine!
