The tendency is to only contact a company when there is something dissatisfactory. The only review I found on Michelle Hasbrook here on yelp (dated 2/7/2019) was a one star, four sentence blast that I found defamatory and inexcusable by the reviewer. I am and have been a patient of Hasbrook's since Dr James Epple handed over his practice and his established clients over to Michelle some 15 or so years ago. I STAND by my personal reputation, as a checker with Safeway, Dallas, OR, for twenty years [and the customers of Dallas, Monmouth, Independence, Falls City and surrounds that know me by name, and by practice, customers who seek me out because of the service they will get when dealing with me... ]. Hasbrook's behavior as a dental caregiver professional is unimpeachable. I call BULL if you rely only on the comments of 2/7/2019. I refute the claims that Hasbrook is "rude", "cold", financially not understanding, and the image of a daughter (young enough to be seen with thumb in mouth, i.e. tender) "made to cry"? At minimum, we have one point of view; and, at worst, we have libel or slander.

"It's just what the computer generates."…read moreI had given them my insurance card and later called to confirm that they knew from my card that they were not in-plan, but instead of an estimate based on that they produced an estimate showing that my insurance would pay 80%. Trusting them, I proceeded with the dental work. Yea, I should have checked myself, but they should not have misrepresented their professionalism by giving me an estimate they KNEW to be false. It's not just a simple mistake - their practice is set up to operate that way.

I went back a couple of weeks later. They did the filling replacement but still no cleaning. I complained a bit do they fit me in later that day. All in all a good experience. A couple of things I would change. They always try to have you leave your purse and go somewhere else, which I don't do. I also don't need to be patted on the should while the dr is giving me a shot. I would have said something but you are stuck with your mouth open and no way to say knock it off. And all my invoices come with my husband's name on them. I've been to many dental offices this is new and kind of odd given how we are all worried about privacy and such. The dentistry itself seems very modern and up to date. It was at 8:00. I told them I don't drive until 10:00 because I have had seizures while driving before so I take my meds at 8;00 to make sure it's 100% safe. Called me. I was confused. On Friday I confirmed my appointment on Monday. Jordon who has been rude to me every time we have talked. I confirmed our appointment Friday but called and Gave me a personal reminder about my appointment. I was with my mother in law who has Alzheimer's who fell at her caregiving facility and was at the Hospital picking her up. That is unacceptable to call me on a SUNDAY for an appointment I confirmed on Friday. A personal reminder on a Sunday ? They called me and my wife Monday morning and I was sleeping in. Recently, I had a dental emergency, and within less than 24 hours, they got me in for an early 7:00 AM appointment to assess the situation. Not only did they assess the situation and quickly identify the problem, but they also came up with an immediate solution which they offered to do right then and there-- replacing a crown on my tooth. SAME DAY! What really impressed me was how thoughtful and accommodating the entire staff was. They kept my 6- and 7-year-olds entertained the whole time, which made the visit stress-free for everyone. On top of that, they went the extra mile handling my insurance and coordinating with my previous dentist to make sure I got the best possible price. Despite my, perceived, emergency and the extra steps involved, they had everything done in time for us to make it to school and work on time at 8:00 am. He will NOT "shame" you for being lax on your cleanings (like I was) and doesn't ask you questions with his hands in your mouth. I had a filling done yesterday and it was smooth sailing. His office only uses composite (the white resin) so no nasty mercury fillings. The numbing shot did not hurt at all and the drill is so much quieter than it was a few years ago. He explained what he was going to do before he did it and what it would feel like. I know most people might not need that but I definitely get anxious during dental visits. Long story short, I'm not afraid of the dentist anymore! I can't wait to go back to get my other filling done and get started on my clear aligners. Plus free whitening for life!
