They were not able to see me until January 29th leaving with a hole in my front tooth. They then changed the appointment to February 2nd. I voiced m opinion in a letter written to the dentist. He then called me on February 2nd refusing to fix the bridge. I also asked repeatedly in emails to send me my records and the name of the dentist that would work on my bridge. They sent a document that was encrypted and I could not open. They refused to send me my payments that I have made. They also refused to send me the information where the original dentist is practicing. Within the past year alone, this denture has broken three separate times. This is unacceptable for work of this cost and nature. While I understand that the dentist who originally completed the work no longer practices there and that the office has changed ownership, Salem Family and Cosmetic Dentistry purchased this practice and assumed responsibility for its patients and prior dental work. I have also been told that you will not repair the denture unless I pay upfront, allegedly due to my "attitude." I am upset because I have every right to be given that I have had to deal with three failures of a very expensive denture in less than a year. My frustration comes from feeling ignored, dismissed, and treated unfairly.

It was at 8:00. I told them I don't drive until 10:00 because I have had seizures while driving before so I take my meds at 8;00 to make sure it's 100% safe. Called me. I was confused. On Friday I confirmed my appointment on Monday. Jordon who has been rude to me every time we have talked. I confirmed our appointment Friday but called and Gave me a personal reminder about my appointment. I was with my mother in law who has Alzheimer's who fell at her caregiving facility and was at the Hospital picking her up. That is unacceptable to call me on a SUNDAY for an appointment I confirmed on Friday. A personal reminder on a Sunday ? They called me and my wife Monday morning and I was sleeping in. They called my wife who was at work. I would have gone but still very upset about Sunday. I have epilepsy with a memory problem. I came in a day early for my second appointment. A few dentists go above and beyond to deliver something more -- often times with no benefit for them. They do this to deliver the highest quality care possible. The problem is, the acts of professionalism and kindness often go un-noticed. Folks will fill out a review if they are angry, but when things go well we are happy to return to our busy lives. This is human nature. So I want to call out an act of professionalism by Dr. Theresa Lindquist. She has repeatedly identified patients with sinusitis and taken the effort to get them treated. My wife is a professor at the OHSU dental school. The students are taught to screen for medical problems, but if any questions arise, they are directed back to their primary care physician. Not with Dr. Lindquist, she gets them in to be seen by the appropriate subspecialist as quickly as possible. Theresa, your patients are grateful. It is nice when the dental and medical communities work together as a team. However, I want to help…read moreothers of not getting into the same trouble I ran into with this so called "dentist" I inherited dr. Lindquist due to my original dentist relocation. I had my regular teeth cleaning routine appointment. At the end of my appointment, she walked in and introduced herself and then briefly looked at my teeth and informed me that I needed a crown and a filling. I didn't had any concerns with the teeth she pointed out. However, I agreed to follow her direction. We set a day and a time. It was a day before my trip to Chicago for two weeks. During my appointment, I was terrified. I never had such an unprofessional and unclean experience. At the very beginning, she was very rough and she was constantly walking out of the room between me and her other patients. I felt brushed off. There were so many mistreatments that I don't want to write about all of them here. In the middle of the appointment while she was out of the room I voiced my concerns to her Technician. The long story short, after many attempts, (she was resizing my crown) the outcome was - an awful crown, not just Aesthetically, it's also big size and cement in between, and I Still can not floss in between. Its also has an open margin to my roots. At the end She couldn't floss herself in between the crown she just placed yet she let me walk out without proper cleaning and big crown. When she was attempting to floss in between, she bruzed my gums and there were a lot of blood, she would wipe the blood out of the floss and then reused the same floss again and again. I was shucked! I couldn't believe it! Its like she was saving her own floss on me. She kept wiping blood and kept flossing again. Then she walked out and I asked her technician to use a new floss for me. And if that wasn't enough, she spilled the water on me and onto the instruments tray, she then grabbed a piece of cloth from the top of the tray, she wiped my mouth, and THE TRAY ON SIDES and placed that same cloth back on the tools that she was using inside of my mouth. She then used tools and wiped them with the same cloth that she just used for my mouth and the tray. I was so terrified that I had to leave to Chicago next day and I was afraid that I will have an infection due to her unsanitizing practices. Sure enough the whole week I had a pain, while out of the state. But to make the matter worse, she inflicted so much pain and pressure in the very beginning of my appointment by attempting to place the tube that was oversized, so than she decided to change on smaller size but by that time I was in so much pain. Due to so much pressure she caused my other crown fell off on second day after seeing her, while in Chicago. I filed a complaint against her with an OREGON BOARD OF DENTISTRY she was found GUILTY in 10 counts of failing testing biological monitoring system on the heat of sterilization. Again, I wouldn't write this review, if she had a heart to fix her problem and now it is my problem. She refused To pay for a new crown and a missing tooth, both of her fault. But that's not it, her administrator Tracy is the rudest person. I asked her to email me my exrays and they won't release them to me. I callled again week after, she said it's not her job and she doesn't know when it can be done. I told her I have been waiting for a week now, but she didn't care. My phone calls got unanswered, literally ignored. All what I was asking for my personal exrays. Please, do yourself a favor, ran from this place if you care about your teeth. Interestingly enough that Reviews that gave her 5 stars (on her website) were written during the investigation. P.S. my review was the first review written here on her name, but as soon as my review was posted immediately someone else (Jennifer) wrote a review with a five starts why not before? Wondering... Janelle has been my Hygienist for the majority of that time. She is very professional, patient and thorough in her work. With the use of Nitrous Oxide and Janelle's patience & calming demeanor, what would be a highly anxious dental visit turns into a pleasant dental cleaning experience. Office Experience: Sarah always greets me a with cheerful hello and ensures that I am comfortable.
