I injured my foot on 1/13/19 and instead of going to the ER I decided to wait it out and go see a PCP. I didn't have a PCP set up so when I called I said I would make an appointment with the earliest available doctor. That happened to be Dr Yee. My appointment was for 2:40pm 1/14/19. I was finally called back at around 4:00. Dr Yee sent me downstairs for X-rays and told me he would call to let me know the extent of my injury no later than 12pm the following day 1/15/19. I thought that was a long time to wait with a possible broken foot and seeing that the X-ray technician told me that as soon as she took the X-rays he could access them immediately. But I waited. And when he didn't call me I called the Sutter Call Center and left an email. I waited a couple hours and with no response decided to try to call back. This went on for the next two days. Me calling and being promised a return call and would not hear back. Finally a podiatrist called me and said Dr Yee sent over a Refferal for me to be seen. But the person calling to schedule the appointment could not tell me what was wrong with my foot. I continued calling with no response via email or my messages. The call center did what they could and would promise I would receive a call back but he never got back to me. I tried contacting Sutter Patient Relations and they also promised that he would be getting back to me and they would inform the office manager and mark my messages urgent. With no call back I decided to ask to speak directly to a supervisor and not be forwarded to leave a message or email anymore. They transferred me to the front office and they told me that I indeed broke my foot. So 4 days had gone by since I saw Dr Yee and he never thought I was important enough to respond to. And meanwhile I was in the dark on how to care for myself. I wish I had gone to the ER in the first place. He does not care about his patients. Someone posted in a review that he is a 'dirty doctor' that is known to prescribe pain medication. I believe that could be true because why else would people wait hours to be seen? The front staff told me people will wait 3 or more hours just to see him. He's horrible. read more

I just seen this doctor for the 1st time today. Dr. Yee never introduced himself never even spoke directly to me. I waited over 2 in a half hours to be seen for him to come in the room and print me out some paper and say this is what's wrong with you. Never once did he ask me my pain level or have I taken anything for my pain didn't even know he was done seeing me just walked out the room. 30 dollar co pay wasted on nothing but a 3 hour sit in the doctors office! I can't even give him a star because he is the worst doctor I ever had but to be able to post I had to give a star that really is a negative star!!!!!!! read more

Beware!!! My dad saw this doctor for bloated abdomen and was diagnosed with constipation, given laxatives and put on a diet. I finally got my dad to go to the ER and guess what? He is full of CANCER! I would not send my worst enemy's dog to this doctor..... read more

Dr. Yee, is my family's Dr. He has been our Dr. For 25 plus years. We have always received excellent care from him and his staff. I have always found his office clean and comfortable. Dr. Yee has an excellent bedside manor and is one of the most caring people I know. He has diagnosed every condition I have endured perfectly, sending me to what ever specialist was needed when necessary. ( I have had many medical problems over the years and have had many operations) I don't know how I would have made it with out my wonderful physician to care for me. Best Doctor I ever had! Office was busy, but he always took time to listen!

It's ridiculous to call Dr Yee a dirty Dr. He's been my Dr for 20 years and he is nothing but caring and compassionate. He has a heart to help everyone and refuses to give anything he doesn't think you need. There are no addicts in his office and it is far from dirty. Who cares if notices have frames,,,that's petty. It does take some time to get in sometimes but he is attentive when he's in the room with you and will listen to everything you need to tell him. He doesn't rush you or cut you off. He remembers Who you are and your kids names and any other family he might know personally. To slam a doctor is cruel and unnecessary. You need to take a long look in the mirror and wonder why your upset he wouldn't give you the meds you "needed". read more

Dr. Yee has been my doctor for over 20 years and I couldn't be happier with the medical care he has provided.

I wanted so much to like Dr. Yee as his reviews were good and he shared my faith. I think as a doctor he'd be great...if you could actually see him. We've had wait times at his office of 40 min- 4 hours!! (You can't schedule a few errands/appointments for the day, because you never know how long you'll be there.) I've seen elderly folks getting really sore trying to sit that long to wait for him. Every single person in waiting room is complaining and comparing wait times. Patients have had attacks of low blood sugar there, because food isn't allowed, but it takes forever to get in/out. I even saw a lady run out of oxygen supply in her tank as she had been waiting three hours and we had to get after staff to replace it with one of theirs for her. This last time, I needed to get my lab results and ask four quick questions about new symptoms related to my condition. I waited exactly TWO HRS to be seen, and when I fianlly was, he gave me labs; and, when I asked my first question about three min into appt, he stood up, said "I don't have time for this, I'm late for a meeting!" then walked out the door. What?!? Considering it took SIX phone calls to make the appt over a couple weeks time (They apparently don't return voicemails), I was flabbergasted and actually teared up on my way out from frustration). I knew that was the final straw. I saw the other review about office cleanliness and I will agree that things could be better there. While their cleaning service seems on top of things. the age of things is a little gross...the waiting room is full of old upholstery which is likely full of germs. As a previous medical office consultant,I see there are HIPPA violations everywhere. Things are disorganized. Policies are disgraceful--like using my credit card for copy requiring a $5.00 fee! Phone calls are never returned. Requests for copies/labs are never sent. I think Dr. Yee is a nice guy and likely a good doctor, however, I don't have time for the nonsense that surrounds this office. Sad, too, because I was so hopeful to find someone good in the area! read more

In Response to the review titled Dirty Doctor! Well known for for writing prescriptions to addicts? Have you been treated by Dr. Yee? Most of his patients are above 70 years old. Are these the addicts in question? Illegal injection? Have you been given an illegal injection? I think not! Out of state patients? Some of his patients have been going to him for more than 30 years, maybe they moved, have family here, want to visit. Who knows? Who the heck are you to judge? If a patient abuses there medication, why is that the physician's fault? The physicians are well regulated on what they can prescribe. If someone is going to abuse narcotics they are going to, abuse narcotics. Dr. Yee is a wonderful man and very ethical. For someone to take the time to write a derogatory review based on hear say is disgusting. His office could be ran much better, but what you are questioning is his integrity and that is shameful. He spends so much time and resources worshiping The Lord and helping others. We need to focus our attention on the people that are drinking and driving, that put us at risk daily, with zero monitoring. Do you have one of those in your family. Someone wreck less that puts there own lives and others at risks due to alcohol abuse. I understand that there are many people addicted to narcotics, but I can assure you that Dr. Yee is not sitting in his office with a prescription pad writing prescriptions to every pill seeker in town. There are pain management Drs. for that. If you are a patient that requires that type of treatment, Dr Yee will only do so for a short time and will then refer you to a physician better equipped or may choose to place you on a pain contract. Please get your facts straight before trying to sabotage one of the few remaining Christian physicians that truly cares. read more
