I love the fresh and gourmet varieties of fruits, veggies, frozen products, meats, and pantry items. The bakery, deli, and olive bar are delightful. The store is very clean and well organized. You can find nice deals here. I got the chicken Italian sausage one- sweet and one-spinach and feta. Delightful! If you're looking for a specialty item or high quality product, you may want to check here. Remember you get what you pay for. The cashier was very friendly. Actually, all of the employees were welcoming and helpful.

Sometimes you get what you pay for! For as fresh and delicious as everything here is, it's definitely worth shopping here. They always have great deals, the staff is always extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly, they have a huge stock of hard to find and imported items, and you can't beat the huge olive and salad bar with all the free samples you want!! I always end up with a bunch of containers full of marinated cheeses, stuffed olives, (there are at least 6 plus types of olives to choose from!) They also have a huge bakery with lots of homemade breads, desserts, cakes, cookies, etc. Go there and thank me later!

Old School Good - worth the trip to the east side. The sesame bread for the muffeletta was excellent.

They have good quality produce but the prices were at least double of anywhere else in town. If you watch your wallet I'd avoid this place.

Good produce but rude staff. 2 older staff ladies were extremely unpleasant to talk to.

But lately, they've been modernizing and expanding -- and unfortunately, the prices have been expanding right along with it. The perfect example is their store-made roast beef. Just this summer it was $6.99 a pound, and now it's jumped to $9.99 a pound -- a 42.9% increase. That roast beef was the one door-buster item that kept me coming back. I was in their store every other day, picking up two pounds at a time. But now that it's become a popular product, they seem to feel the need to gouge the customer. It's disheartening. They've always run on the higher side for pricing, but at least that roast beef balanced things out. With that gone, there's just no incentive left. Compare it to Cattleman's Market in Center Line, where New York strip steaks run about $7.99 a pound versus nearly $14 here. Lunch meat is also considerably cheaper at Cattleman's. It's disappointing to watch a place I once looked forward to visiting turn into just another overpriced stop. They can keep their roast beef -- I'll take my business elsewhere.

July 27, 2026, I attempted to purchase items from the 31200 Schoenherr Rd Warren MI 48088 location…read morestore. I have experience with shopping at stores that have several different price signs around products. My theory is when doubt ask a store rep especially if it is one of those to be too good to be true scenarios. The bushes 28 ounce can of baked beans were one dollar with Kroger card. I like most have experienced mislabeling or products in the wrong area and you don't find out until at the register...that was always a bit of an issue. My logic is 'ask an employee to be on the safe side.' I stopped an individual who appeared to be one of the after hours stock persons and asked if the can of beans I had in my hand are a dollar. The individual scanned the shelves and turned to me and said yes they are dollar with your Kroger card. I get In line and all I heard was how the cashier was upset about having to stay an extra hour after her shift while ringing people up. A gentleman walked up next to her, (which I found later wasn't employee) and she began the extra hour conversation again. Complaining she had to bag her own groceries. During all this, there was another young lady walking back-and-forth from self-check-out to the register as if she were a supervisor, but I later found she was working the self-check-out area. The extra hour conversation continues with the employee and another customer while the self- check-out lady told a number of individuals behind me to go to self-check-out and the line was close. Well, I get to the register and she begins the extra hour conversation again with me. I asked 'they do pay you for that extra hour?' She of course explains that it's not the point. I then noticed the can of beans rang up at $2.99. I explained the dollar scenario asking an employee to confirm. She told me 'well they rang up at $2.99.' I told her I would not pay $2.99. She decided to look up the price on her phone and told me that that price was for the small cans. I told her there were no small cans in that area. She took it upon herself to adjust the price to $1.99 a can. I explained again about the dollar per can with the card. I asked the employee next to her too follow me over to the area where the beans were so he could clarify the situation. I also took a picture of the shelves and pricing. Initially, he also deduced 'dollar a can with Kroger card.' But, by the time we return to the register, she rang up my purchase at $1.99 a can. I simply was not going to pay that price especially if I believed it was a dollar a can. She generally explained how she was doing me a favor by reducing the price and that she could do things like that. I asked for a refund and that was when everything went haywire. The cashier told me the supervisor is not in the store and he is closing down the gasoline area. I said there has to be someone else that can provide a refund. She then began telling me how we don't do refunds after 8 PM. My thoughts were why did she ring it up when we were still unclear on the exact price? I told her I am not driving this far to return these items. She told me you don't have to return them here. You can return them at any store. I told her I am not going to pay for someone else's mistake and that I will wait for the manager. In so many words, she told me you don't have to get excited and she would call security. The self-check-out lady heard the cashier and yelled across the store, 'I'll call security.' So the self-check-out lady took it upon herself to call security over the intercom. It was similar to some old western where security was supposed to run in saving the day by picking me up by the seat of my pant and throwing me out of the saloon doors. She then walked towards the front door to get the security person. I guess to throw me out and throw me out fast. That's when Caleb with this grimacing look and this bad attitude in his voice with security guard in toe asked 'what was going on?' I, of course, explained the whole scenario and asked Caleb if he could provide a refund. He said he didn't have the capability. After they realized I was not going to budge on this issue, I believe Caleb asked another young lady to call what I believe was the supervisor and he walked her through the process over the phone for my refund. I give them two thumbs up on teamwork and collaboration because they descended on me like a bunch of vultures. I'm aware this all seems pretty dramatic, but all they simply had to do from minute one is call any leadership person, (including the assistant store lead Caleb) to the register to mitigate this issue or maybe say something in the arena of 'pardon me sir, I'm aware there are a lot of posted prices all jumbled together, but this item is actually posted at $2.99. Would you like to still purchase these items?' Now here is the coup de grâce. Although you may not have audio and I wish you did. You do have video. Begin viewing your store video just p
