Plumb Perfect of Southern Utah

Plumb Perfect of Southern Utah

Plumb Perfect of Southern UT did my plumbing for a new sink. I had them come out for a free…read moreestimate, and they gave me a range from $200.00 to $300.00 depending on the nature of the job, if valves needed replaced it would be the higher price. They bid higher than their competitors, but came recommended so I went with them. They told me to call a week before the install and they would get me in. I called and they did get me in as promised...that was good, they were also flexible with me when my counter contractor kept changing the install time...they were able to move me to the new time...that was also good. On Friday, my contractor was running hours late and so I had an afternoon appointment and they said they would try to shift me if they could...I am still super impressed and grateful. My contractor cracked a drain pipe (among other things, but that is another review :) ) When I saw the damage I immediately sent a photograph of the damage to Tracy...he texted no problem we can fix that...but they have now had an emergency and can not come until Saturday...we set up a new appointment. Saturday morning arrives and so did Tracy's associate only about 30 minutes late...not annoyed, it happens and compared to the counters...this is not an issue...he tells me that he will charge me the higher price, because of the drain pipe...I say ok, but assume that is because it is going to take a longer time....the plumber says he has to go get parts, because he didnt have what he needed, and left and was back within 30 minutes...I thought...maybe he didnt know what he needed from the photo...no big deal. I was told the sink install would take up to 4 hours, so i expected he would be there the better part of the day...he worked quickly and seemed to do a good job. He was finished in less than two hours...2 hours counting the drive for parts. He charged me 345.00 not 300.00 as the bid had been, and was there 2 hours not 4, but I paid without complaint...I think it is really high, but they ran to the store and I have all new plumbing under there so we are good for a long time..it seems really high for 2 hours but it within the original bid. Sunday comes, big dinner...load up the dishwasher turn it on...dishes dont get clean...weird...run them again, still not working...this dishwasher was just great prior to the sink install so I think...hmmm lets call the plumber. I text him since that is the most effective way to reach him and he tells me he will send the guy back out...I say, it is probably something easy, but I don't know plumbing...he says...no problem. Kid shows up, looks under the sink, tells me it is probably the valve has been turned off for the dishwasher, and I turn the valve and sure enough the water goes into the dishwasher...he says...did they tell you about the service charge...I say what charge...he says for me coming out. Its $65.00 he also recommends I replace the valve. The valve they already quoted to replace in the original bid...now I am cranky...CRANKY!!! I say the valve is old? You want me to pay you an additional 175.00 to replace a valve you were going to replace in the original bid, and want 65.00 for pointing...he says I am charging you for turning on the valve...umm the one you shut off...really? He says it wasnt him...who then would have done that? Seriously!!! He says it was the counter contractor who took out the faucet, I cant say who it was, and I don't care who it was...the fact that I have paid you 345.00 for a two hour job and you have the nerve to charge 65.00 additionally when you come back out to turn on a valve is terrible service..and I dont have new valves, and that was part of the quote is frustrating. He said they didn't change the valves because of the drain pipe, and he got in trouble for not charging more. In trouble...for making 150,00 an hour. I am apparently supposed to be grateful now...not feeling it. I tell him I will not use them again...I texted the owner, who had been very responsive, and got crickets, tell him I am disappointed and felt he should have indicated they charge to return if there is a problem with their service, he does not give me the courtesy of a phone call, a text or a message in a bottle..so there you have it. Not so perfect, Plumb Perfect on the service..When you charge top dollar, you would expect top dollar service with it. I would have expected you would follow up on your services as a courtesy, and it you don't...say so. At least respond when I am disappointed, which I continue to be.

Our water heater broke and Steve came out that same day to look at it. Immediately he told us we…read moreneeded a new water heater. Because we were going through our Home Warranty company they had to notify them and he told me, " they will have to order it and it could take a few days." luckily my parents live about 20 minutes away so I would pack up the kids every night for the next three days to give everyone baths and showers. By the third day, I was over it, and hadn't heard from the home warranty company yet. Steve had kept in touch with me every single day to let us know the status of what was going on. By the third day we were told by our home warranty company that it was ordered, but it would still be another 3 to 5 BUSINESS days! We are a family of 7 and I was immediately really upset. After talking to Steve again he decided that that was unacceptable and he wasn't going to let my husband and I along with our 5 kids wait that long. They called me and said they would be there in 45 minutes to install a new water heater. They were here within that timeframe and had it installed within a half hour. Steve is so amazing and I will forever recommend Complete Plumbing to everyone I hear that needs plumbing services. I'm really grateful for he and Jason installing it well and getting the job done despite the Home Warranty company being difficult and essentially causing their customer to be without hot water for 8 days. Needless to say, we will be canceling our services with that home warranty company. Thanks again Steve! We are so appreciative.

He arrived at my home within just 10 minutes of his return phone call. Attempted to light it, and when it didn't seem to be igniting, he removed the cover to do it manually. At that point, we could see that it was lit. he said to me." I'm not sure if you got it lit or if I did. The service fee was $100
