I inquired about a job and got a call for a zoom interview, then I was given 2 tests to complete but the link was only letting me access to one so I reached out to the recruiter about it and told her that so had completed one out of the two and sent her screenshots of the error I received while trying to do the second test and she replied back very promptly and informed me that she had sent another link for the test and so I finally get that test done and informed the recruiter and I get an email from her saying "Thank you" So I assumed that they would get back to me. I tried calling them multiple times but nobody ever answered the phones. 10+ days go by and I'm calling but nobody ever answered or returned the calls so I proceeded to email a follow up after that since I wasn't getting anywhere and Woow! Weeks after I finally hear back with the classic "we don't have anything that fits your skill set" SO THEN WHY EVEN TALK ABOUT A POSITION THAT YOU WERE NOT EVEN GOING TO PRESENT ME FOR??? So unprofessional! They need to figure out their stuff because why even try to help others when your office and staff isn't working properly. For some reason even my attempts failed. Which wasn't what bothered me. It was the poor choice of demeaning words and condescending tone she took with my client. Things like "I sent you two emails, what part of them don't you understand?" I called her myself to see if we could figure out why there seemed to be a glitch. To my surprise she was also very unprofessional and snooty in our conversation. Phrases like "it's a RED FLAG to me when he can't do something as simple as send me his resume" ( her tone very condescending) and she also stated, "I can't keep doing this! I've had TEN phone calls today about this!" When in reality I was the fourth call as we tried to resolve the problem. In my experience these kind of agencies are supposed to help people get a job in today's market. My client has been out of work and discouraged. He is a skilled/certified forklift driver. He also has excellent shipping and receiving within warehouse experience. He is not a computer tech, however he knows how to send his resume.. I was appalled by the unprofessional behavior of this person. Consequently it's a reflection on this office as a whole. Adecco.... Please do some workshops on client relations "etiquette". And maybe some practice scenarios to train up your staff who have poor "people skills"

I have done exactly that several times, but weeks go by without a single text, call, or follow-up. It has now been over a month, and I still have yet to receive any response. Eventually, the job posting just disappears, and the same cycle repeats over and over. To make matters worse, even when you comment and they give you a phone number that the agency provides in the comment section of the job posting, it does not help whatsoever. There is still no response, no follow-up, and no communication. This has become extremely frustrating and exhausting. It's honestly hard to understand how this agency continues to operate with such poor communication and lack of follow-through. This level of unprofessionalism is exactly why people struggle to take staffing agencies seriously. If you expect people to take the opportunities you provide seriously, then your agency should also take its responsibility to communicate with applicants seriously. If you're looking for a solid job or a staffing agency that is actually persistent and communicates with its applicants, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
