Just like you, dear reader, I was a bit skeptical when I found Dr. Wasoff on Yelp. "Five stars from nearly every reviewer?", I asked myself. "Surely this can't be!" Several appointments later and I confirmed my suspicions. "Yes, it MUST be!" Dr. Wasoff truly does care about his patients' well-being -- You won't get that impersonal, get-in-and-get-out care with him. He helps you assess your back problems and doesn't just fix them; he'll help you with long-term solutions so you won't have to visit him as often (This is the part where I should tell you the back exercise pamphlet he gave me helped me tremendously, but I'm a procrastinating loser and have yet to do them regularly). Seriously, on my first visit, he told me his goal was to correct my back so I'd have to visit him less and less...I thought, "What's wrong with this guy? Is he crazy? This can't be good for business!" However, this is a testament to his honesty -- Though happy backs tend to stop by his office less, I know he definitely makes up for it in referrals from satisfied patients! My back went out for the third time last year, which was the worst ever. I went to several different health care providers from sports massage to chiropractors with varying results, but while they all helped to a degree, nobody got me back to 100%. Then came Dr. Wasoff. Exactly three sessions in, I was 100% again and have stayed that way ever since. I go back when I'm starting to feel tension and tightness and he very efficiently sets me right again. I knew from my first visit that he knew what he was doing. His warm, courteous and very professional manner makes every visit enjoyable. His staff are totally on the ball. Dr. Wasoff is genuinely the most caring, professional and thorough chiropractor I have had the pleasure to see. I have experienced more than a handful of so-called chiropractors (having a problem that lasted 10 years before working with him), and can easily and honestly say that no one took the time to assess the problem, in order to fix the problem, like Dr. Wasoff. I have dealt with a series of issues, primarily focusing on my scapula, which then effects every other area. The Dr. not only took his time describing the problem, but also gave me the exact methods in which to correct it. It is a work in progress, but he has helped me from seeing him once a week, to once every other month. EVERY Dr. I have seen, pathetically warms me up and cracks (ahhhhh wrong). Dr. Wasoff does no such thing. He uses electo, massage, etc. (technical words that I do not know) for the particular problem. I HAVE NEVER FELT LIKE A PATIENT. I HAVE ONLY FELT LIKE A FRIEND BEING CARED FOR. However, I now live in San Francisco and, although I have searched, have not been able to find a chiropractor that shares his professional maneuvers and welcoming, carefree charm. If I could give no stars I would !!!! Been here three times in the past month . After my visit today I have had no choice but to post this review . Mind you I've been on yelp for a few years now . I've only made two reviews in the whole time of me having my account on here .. so trust me I put a lot of thought into posting this and actually hitting send ! I have top of the line insurance that covers everyone of the treatments they offer . But the doctor rather put limits on those opportunity's because he rather be money hungry . So he's lied to me every visit saying that my insurance covers things it's just he doesn't want to OK it because he rather have me pay him cash out of pocket ... yeah I don't trust this doctor .. and in order to get a massage you have to be adjusted .. sorry but you know like I know it's not good to get an adjustment as often as a massage .. if I want to get a massage twice a week I shouldn't HAVE to be adjusted twice a week but according to this doctor those are the rules . I discovered Dr. Wasoff on Yelp and I'm so glad I did. I visited Dr. Wasoff after looking for a chiro for basic adjustments when I felt like my body needed it. He's one of the few chiros that I've gone to that doesn't push you to come 3x a week instead urges you to come back when you need. He utilizes a stim machine, heat pack, and manual adjustments. Appointments are easy to make and everyone who works in his office is very helpful. There is a parking lot next to the office which the office validates for. read more

A little over a month ago I did something to my lower back that caused me to seek out of the advice of a chiropractor. Up to that point I had always been a little nervous of chiropractic care. All I can say is that Randy is straight up, no BS, GREAT. Every time I left, I always felt better. If you have ever had sciatica, you know how unbelievable the pain can be. There were times I could hardly get in and out of my car, hobbling into the building. But after a visit, I always felt noticeably better. Although I was a new patient, Dr. Wasoff was willing to me with less than 2 hours notice. My regular chiropractor had cancelled my appointment 2 days earlier and called out sick today. I had been in consistent and severe pain for several days so I was desperate to see someone immediately before the weekend. Dr. Wasoff was my third attempt at finding a GOOD chiropractor. Everywhere I had been put me on unnecessarily long treatment plans for lower back pain and I never felt better. Then I found Dr. Wasoff and after my first visit I felt exponentially better. He'll be the first to tell you that he doesn't need to see you for a while if you're feeling better and won't waste your time and money which I REALLY appreciated. I recently found out through Randy that I had a herniated disc in my back and he promptly referred me to a couple of orthopedic surgeons and said he'd be ready to help with the recovery when I was done.
