We were brand new in town. Few leads as to reputable repair people and then our washer goes on the blink. Someone told us Randy's was really good so after one other business that was a no-show for the house call and yet another who told us they were too busy and not interested, we called Randy's. Impressive professionalism and punctuality from the start. He pretty much took our washer apart, cleaned it, and then on his time, preceded to give me a lesson on how to properly take care of a front loading washing machine given their propensity to gather odors and mold. Really above and beyond expectations. He's very personable and my dog immediately took to him. And I totally believe dogs have a sixth sense regarding personalities. Darned appliances are going to break from stoves like our gas wolf range to washing machines Randy's has been at our home. On our most recent repair I was most frustrated with the service and thought I would be writing a scathing review. However, rather than lash out I wrote a letter to Randy explaining my frustration. Randy called me back in person and on a Sunday. Together we talked through to issue and resolved my concerns. Once I hung up I realized few companies maintain the integrity standards that Randy's Appliance just demonstrated. You are going to need repairs some day put your money with the people that have earned your business. I'd choose Randy's every time. read more

This was our first time using Randy's Appliance Repair and it was a great experience. Randy was able to diagnose the issue and make the necessary repairs on his first visit. We never would have been able to get the machine apart to even attempt the repair. Randy was profession, kind and very good at his job. He found that the dryer drum screws had fallen out of the back of the drum and one had even fallen out in the drum. Due to the drum dropping a bit, we do have some wear and may need to make another future repair. But we are now fully informed of what to listen for and know we can count on Randy's Appliance to assist us in the future. There are not many appliance repair shops we can turn to in our area, so I'm glad we found someone local to assist us. We did have to wait about a month for this service call and that is due to many businesses not having enough help. One thing I appreciated about this service call was that Tina called the day before our appointment to confirm our timeframe, and she was sure to mention that Randy would mostly likely be here closer to the end of the appointment. This was useful information as I was trying to figure out how to be at work and at home during the same time period. They were honest and upfront, which I greatly appreciated as a customer. read more

I have had him come to the house a few times and recommended him to just about everyone who askes. I needed a new Refrigerator last summer and called to find out which ones are the best. I was told GE or Whirlpool! I purchased a very expensive Whirlpool. Well the icemaker leaks. It's under warranty and he is no longer working with whirlpool, because of lack of parts and payments to them. I wont be recommending them again. read more

Randy has done appliance install and repair for us in the past and is a wonderful guy. Unfortunately, he no longer works on Samsung appliances. We had an appointment for him to install a dishwasher and stove with the understanding that, since they are Samsung, he would not service them if they broke. As we bought through Best Buy we declined their installation in an attempt to keep some money local. This morning he informed us that he can no longer install Samsung appliances. Normally I'd like to give Randy the benefit of the doubt on this but Samsung customer service verified for me that as long as an installer is properly licensed that they do not have to be certified by Samsung. While I wish Randy the best I will decline to do business with him again. read more

Just had Randy's Appliance repair out to my house yesterday to repair my washing machine. Jon was such a professional from beginning to end. He went above and beyond my expectations. He took the time to show me ways to save on water, get cleaner clothes and he even cleaned out the filter that was making my water pressure so low. We were new to Henniker, didn't know who to call, brand new refrigerator died, someone recommended Randy's appliance, they came quickly, fixed the problem and returned because it started making a new noise, they repaired that without issue. Also had them come when our fairly new dishwasher died. Wonderful group to work with, I wouldn't call anyone else. I had an amazing experience with this company. Cold called them about a busted washing machine after my DIY repair efforts failed. They couldn't get to me right away but instead of just saying "sorry, can't help" Tina asked about the issue and had Randy call me and he correctly diagnosed the problem over the phone. They dropped the part I needed off for me the next day. Such a difference from the companies who charge you just to talk with you.
