We bought a fridge, a dishwasher and an induction range. The salesman was excellent and we were thrilled at the time, since the purchase was easy and quick. Our house is difficult because deliveries require carrying down 17 steps from the parking lot, and another two inside to a small kitchen, but Dan and Colin managed it with expertise. We appreciated their attitude, and think that Manny's should do whatever necessary to keep these guys working there. We didn't find out until the delivery that 1) delivery guys don't install dishwashers and 2) that an extra part was required to install the dishwasher but was not included in the sale. I believe the salesman should have informed us about those two inconveniences, hence only 4 stars. read more

Unfortunately in order to leave a review I have to give at least 1 star but it is absolutely not deserved! Back in May my Mom's ice maker stopped working on her otherwise perfect condition Whirlpool refrigerator. She bought a new through Manny's and had it delivered on the 10th of May. When the delivery guys arrived the proceeded to disassemble my Mom's front door, trying to remove the storm door before doing any type of measuring or even seeing the old refrigerator to be removed. My mom informed them that it did not need to be removed that it originally came in through the door just fine. So they left the storm door half detached and proceeded into the kitchen to remove the old refrigerator. They removed all 4 handles off from the refrigerator even though again they were told it fit just fine through the door with out removing them. They put the old refrigerator into the garage and installed the new refrigerator (which came with pretty heavily dented door, which are supposed to be being replaced but at this point almost 2 months later we have little faith). The delivery guys made an attempt to reattach the handles to the old refrigerator (which is supposed to be used as a back of frig as it was in perfect condition other then the ice maker) however none of them reattached correctly and pull completely out of the door when you try to open them rendering the refrigerator completely unusable at this point. We were reassured that someone would be by to fix it. 2 weeks later a gentleman shows up, tries to fix them but the setting screws now need to be replaced. He calls his boss on speakerphone right in front of me and we are told all new screws will be ordered and they will come and fix it. After hearing nothing for another 2 weeks we touch base with Rob who asks me to send him pictures via email (the man that showed up to originally fix it also sent pictures) so he knew what we needed. I sent it within 5 minutes. After yet another 3 weeks of hearing nothing we call again. We speak to Rob again who tells us we better not be expecting them to give us a while new refrigerator and after an unpleasant conversation of reassuring him we just want the handles that their guys broke fixed he asks for another email with pictures etc. We tell him we will send another email (which I did immediately) and call back in 15 minutes so we can hopefully get a resolution finally. After 15 minutes we call and are told Rob left for the day and now Brandon needs an email because he has no idea what we are talking about. Same situation, email sent, call back. He tells us no screws have ever been ordered and that we can come to them and he will take screws from another refrigerator and we can fix it ourselves. At this point we are so over it we agree to go get them the next day. July 3rd. My mom shows up to get her screws and is treated like an idiot!! They have no idea what she is talking about, no idea what she wants and again is told they will NOT be giving her a new refrigerator! Not ONCE did anyone mention wanting a new refrigerator except them!!! Just fix the sh!t that YOU ruined! So after 2 months and a whole lot of BS WE had to go to them to get the pieces required to fix something they destroyed and WE are now responsible for fixing it AND still no new door for the $1800 brand new refrigerator that came damaged!! Completely ridiculous and do NOT recommend Manny's!!! Update July 5th, the screws we were given are useless as the holes were completely stripped when they were removed. read more

Our old refrigerator had been gradually losing the shelves on the door to breakage. We decided to purchase a new one and headed to Manny's to see what was available. Rob MacNeil was our sales consultant and presented us with 3 choices that would match our requirements. He patiently answered all of our questions and concerns, which was quite a bit. He seemed very well-informed about features, durabilities and functionality of every model he quoted. We were able to view all of our choices and compare them in person. We made our selection and he helped us to complete all the other aspects of our purchase including scheduling delivery and setup of our new fridge and moving our old one to the garage. It was an excellent customer experience and we value his knowledge and recommendations. Looking forward to delivery next week. read more

I recently had to request Manny's in Claremont to return an untouched, too small stove, and to install a proper sized one. The total I paid for the original, with tax, was $2447.99. They returned only $752.25 after I repurchased another stove for $999.00. The difference was $696.74. Even subtracting another delivery fee this is a substantial sum. I was aware of the width of the oven but it was not made clear that it was only 35 inches high, really an apartment size oven, despite the fact that I asked about it being a "full sized oven" and was assured it was. It appears that this only involved the baking unit itself, not the entire oven, something that was not explained to me and that I did not understand because I only had seen it online. The 20% restocking fee, which was not mentioned at the time of purchase was only seen on the paperwork. Paying $439.80 for the return of an untouched appliance, with the power cord still in its bag has been a very negative experience, paying two delivery fees and tax, this mistake has cost me at least $500.00, enough to buy another appliance, and has lost them a future customer. They looked up what I wanted and were able to match the lowest price available and deliver within a few days. Amazing customer service. I bought a high end built-in refrigerator. The sales process went smoothly but unfortunately I learned from the delivery guys, not the salesman, that I was going to need an installer to connect the fridge, put it together, and get it in place. Manny's knows contractors who do that but the salesman NEVER mentioned it despite the fact I spoke with him several times while we waited for delivery. Manny's was happy to take my money but fell way short on being sure I had everything I needed to get my appliance working--once they dropped it off, they could care less. So beware, once they make the delivery, you're on your own! I would discourage anyone from going to Manny's for anything!!! read more

Well sit down cause this is going to go on for a bit. Sales experience was great. Delivery not so much. The guys delivering our stove, fridge, dishwasher, washer and dryer apparently acted like toddlers when conditions weren't perfect. They left hand impressions (shallow dents) sliding the fridge into place and didn't install the washer. Now let's talk about Maytag. Our washer hasn't worked properly since the day I started using it so I called for a warranty repair. WELL, apparently they don't have a repair man for the Claremont area so I have to find my own repair man and they'll reimburse us up to 150.00 for the hourly rate + parts. DON'T but Maytag if you live in Claremont!!! read more

Horrible experience. We were told we could apply for financing since there was a 12 month no interest deal going on. We went on the website and after filling out all the information, the site indicated we needed to TALK to someone before they would finalize the loan. We called the provided number but their automated system would not connect us because we didn't have an account. Of course we didn't have an account number! That's what we were applying for! We called the store asking for an alternate number so we could finalize the request. They did not have one, would not give us a direct number for the program, and said it was basically our problem. So we put it on a credit card. Then, the store tried to overcharge our card $100 on the invoice. The charge went through instantly. The store told us the credit for the over charge would take 3 days. The delivery was scheduled for noontime. The day before delivery the delivery people called to say it would be 3PM. On the day of delivery they arrived 3 hrs early. Because they had changed the time, we did not have the dishwasher out yet. We asked if they would wait for us to get it out. The delivery people said "No, problem - we can pick it up next week no charge - just call the store. We are over here all the time." We also bought 2 installation kits. Both kits were short parts which required us to drive back to the store to get replaced. Finally, after we got all the missing parts and got the appliances hooked up and the dishwasher out we called the store to schedule the pickup we had been promised by the delivery people. The store said they would not pick it up unless we paid for it. Then the store rep hung up on us as we tried to explain what the delivery people had told us. Never again. read more

I am writing this review for my 76 year old mother (she does not use the internet) who bought an $800 Maytag washer 3 months ago, it broke down after one month and she's been waiting 2 months for "parts". The dealer, Manny's in Claremont NH, has refused to offer a solution (other than wait until the parts come in) and in the mean time my elderly mother has to schlep her laundry to the laundromat. The dealer and Maytag (who she also called and they would not help either) should be ashamed of themselves because no elderly person should be forced to haul pounds of laundry across town after one month when spending $800!! After several calls to more local places without a callback, I rang Manny's. I knew exactly what I wanted, and was able to complete a clothes washer purchase in about 5 minutes over the phone. The delivery was exactly on time and the delivery guys were quick, professional, and wearing masks. I'll definitely check out Manny's for the next appliance that needs replacing. read more

Called to purchase dishwasher-Claremont store. Of the style we needed we found a unit in-stock. Easy purchase process. We compared a number of models. Delivery promised and schedule (we are in a rural area) was for about one week. They delivered, unpacked and set up where we specified as promised. All intact and without damage. Unfortunately, with all of the models reviewed, did not notice the one letter code difference and so a wrong unit delivered. We were not home so did not see the error until later that day. Equal responsibility for the error as I had not noted the difference on the invoice. We could have bought online elsewhere but wanted to keep our business local. Called back and explained the situation. Fast and easy replacement set up without new charges and new delivery also identified as about a week. We can be patient or go pick up ourselves. An oops, but what I consider great customer service and a good shopping experience. read more
