I am the owner and driver of The Rapscallion Jeep. It's been two years of back and forth with the…read moredealership about getting my jeep fixed. It's been all over the country, from the Grand Canyon, to Moab, through colorado and all the way through the south. I have had it since 2015. I started with a Rough Country 4" lift. This back story becomes important soon, I promise. I met the trendsetters through fort hood military jeepers, and decided I'll get my work done through them. I originally got trusses and gussets, custom bumper, and 1 ton steering. My jeep became something I never guessed. I helped in houston for Harvey, and the jeep performed better than expected. Then, it didnt. It got scary. Death wobble was commonplace, but it was the comforting part. The jeep would jump off the road. It eventually lead to a head on crash which totalled the nissan frontier that stopped the jeep. There were little more than scratches in the bumper... but it was time to fix the jeep, really. It took 2 years to save the money, and I'm glad I did. Kevin recommended the Teraflex Alpine IR suspension. We had to chuck the short arm as everything was shot. It was from lack of maintenance, rust from the floods, general wheeling, and the inability to keep up with failing items. This Teraflex Alpine IR longarm kit is unlike anything I have ever felt before. It feels better than stock. It's a maintenance free kit, and the bilstein shocks round out the impact. Theres no resistance in the flex He really knows what hes talking about and you should probably trust him. The welds are strong, the jeep required extra work to make it fit... that work was completed. I now own a jeep that gives me confidence. It drives like it's on rails. No death wobble... no lane hopping... not even a hint that anything was ever wrong. The 2 hour drive home was a blast. I am having fun just cruising in my jeep again. The hospitality of the trendsetters crew is second to none. I recommend this family and veteran owned business to anyone that has a 4 wheel drive. You will not regret it. I drive 3 hours everytime I have an issue, just because I can trust the team to have it gone. That would be the only thing to take a star, would be because they're too far away. GO HERE, YOUR JEEP WILL THANK YOU

Wanted to relay an amazing experience we had with Trails End Truck Accessories in Weatherford, TX…read more We blew both airbags last Friday on our AirLift system on our F350. We dropped our load in Houston and headed up to Dallas Friday night. We were buying a 95 gallon RDS Auxilliary tank from someone on Saturday, so we thought we would find someone to fix the airbags. We found Trails End, but they were closed until Monday. We we stopped in Monday morning they didn't have the airbags in stock, so we contacted 4 Wheel Parts in Fort Worth and they said they could order them for Wednesday delivery and installation. Waiting for the airbags we realized the aux tank we bought wouldn't fit the truck bed, so Trails End gave us an amazing deal on a tank/toolbox combo and installed it that same day. They also welded brackets so we could install 2, 36" toolboxes on the trailer. Fast forward to Wednesday morning. The airbags came into 4 Wheel Parts, but they said they were booked for the whole week and couldn't get us in to install them (after we had paid 1/2 down back on Monday). We picked up the airbags and brought them back to Trails End and they will be installing them first thing tomorrow morning (Thursday). 4 Wheel Parts could care less that we're an Emergency Response logistics company that needs to get back on the road. The current Manager, Joe Bailey started trash-talking the crew at Trails End which is very unprofessional, horrible customer service. Also of note, 4 Wheel Parts has an entire team of installers on site, as they're a national company. Trails End only has 2 installers, but their desire to go above and beyond to prioritize emergency situations and service customers is exemplary. One more example of using small companies over big-box stores. Please consider supporting Trails End for all you hotshotters out their based in Texas or traveling through Texas.
