My first impression when i call for a quote was what made the difference between ET or the other 100 transmission shops in town. They made me feel like a person and not an up-sale opportunity. once I dropped my truck off the owner called me to ask if it was okay to start the rebuild after diagnosing the issue. Not only did the tell me what was wrong with it, they sent me pictures and invited me back to the shop for final inspection. Not once did i feel like i was going to cheated or upsold. I drove from Azle to the shop and they sure enough got me in and out. The tech was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We talked cars and shop for a few mins while the machine was doing its job. I took it to another shop. 4100 dollars later the new transmission shop told me that A1 had installed similar but wrong parts which is what caused my transmission to completely fail. A1 now refuses to take my calls or repay me for my expenses.

Whe I got my car back the ac fan was super loud so I got out and asked the mechanic about it. He said he thought something had dropped down but it should go away in a couple of days. It didn't. So two weeks later my engine light goes on and took it back to see what it was and they told me a vacuum seal needed replacing. They could do it on Thursday. I showed up then and the guy I talked to wasn't there and the other guy said very sternly he would need it a week to diagnose it. I reminded him I was told they could do it and the price quoted but he said nope. Won't be back. Very poor customer service.

Today I stopped @ the W'frd shop as a 'test' of mrktng blather or truth in advertising. Blaine, Mikah, the team and the techs there were 100% as advertised. Without hesitation, they immediately drove and inspected my car to determine the source of my/it's issues. Tests were done, Q&As were exchanged among us and the results determined that, despite questionable sounds, every test, comparison and measurement, my car seemed to be in safe and good working order. Blaine said he'd reach out to other human and digital sources, describe the perceived/known problems/noise and would call me should any new opinions be offered. This business and these men are a FOR PROFIT establishment and COULD have certainly tried to convince me that I should let them 'do such and such' to try and solve the issue. Not only did they NOT try that tactic, they REFUSED to accept ANY compensation from me for the work they did in the investigation process! I am no novice and could have recognized an attempt to 'lead me' into spending some money with them..that NEVER happened.. I grew up in a small town so I can unequivocally say that it has been DECADES since I have had such a unique, honest, professional, unexpected and enjoyable interaction with auto mechanics....like small towns USED to have...with these men and this company! I called to speak to the owner, Brandon Waters, to relate my experience and spoke with John Lobato, a KINGWAY Manager in Aledo.. He was gracious, most appreciative and was happy to hear that 'his guys' are doing and being what they were hired to do! BOTTOM LINE..Folks.. take your car problems to them.. this review is just for the time being and will be added onto when i have the time but for short…read more these guys are a joke, they secured my radiator by using a single zip tie, left bolts out of my bumper, left bolts half way screwed on my waste gate and when i told them about my disappointment after paying 150$ an hr for there crappy work, they stated they wanted to fix things so that i was a "happy customer" but then kept coming up with this and that and really just anything to get me to go away. i was offered labor hours on future work instead of a partial refund which i find crazy and denied because what logical individual would accept that after receiving work like that. so yeah these guys suck pretty bad. they had my car for 2 weeks and then after complaining they had another 2 and 1/2 weeks to fix this issue and now here we are. i wish i would've never gone to this place.
