Buyer beware. Poor customer service from company after online purchase. I was in the market for a specific Smith and Wesson during their rebate offer. Had been shopping around and stumbled upon Range USA late one night. The website said there was a local store, the firearm was in stock, and they were offering a match of the Smith and Wesson rebate in the form of an e-giftcard. The sale ended that night, March 27th, so I immediately started the purchase process and submitted my order. About a week and a half later I was notified that my firearm was ready for pick-up. Pick-up went smoothly and in store staff were friendly, but I never received the e-giftcard that had been advertised when I purchased. I reached out via email to Range USA and was told that my order did not qualify because my purchase was made outside the valid dates. Confused, I looked at my receipt and saw the order processed exactly at midnight on March 28th. I pointed out to the customer service representative that the order processed on their end literally seconds after the 27th ended, but was only told that I should "make [my] purchase immediately to be qualified." It is literally impossible to put an item in the cart, fill out all the info to purchase, and click purchase within 60 seconds. Doesn't matter to Range USA. I was told repeatedly in email communications with customer service that I should have made my purchase immediately (I did) and that it is my fault I misunderstood when the offer ended (I didn't). I asked for a customer service phone number and was provided one. I talked to Jordan who gave me the same explanation I received via email, but he assured me he would talk to his manager and I would receive a response via email. It has been over 2 weeks and still no response. I was excited to find a new local gun store, but will not be doing business here again. read more
