A week before the season starts they let us know that they hadn't secured any courts in Brea despite knowing for months that this season was going to be happening. Then they told parents that they needed a volunteer parent coach or the first game would be cancelled and continue to be cancelled without a volunteer. When no one stepped up they cancelled the game and I asked for a refund. I don't understand how they can't get these things organized before a season is set to start. I've asked for the refund one month ago and multiple emails where they had said my refund was submitted but I haven't heard anything. They've now stopped replying to me all together. So now not only are they incompetent they're straight up thieves. Do not support NJB.

I arrive with my daughter who has never played any type of organized sports. There's three teenage girls in charge of the session. Kids were supposed to be split in groups of experience that wasn't done. From what I saw my child was the only beginner that day. They lined the girls up and started stretching. My daughter clearly needed help on how to do the stretching. No one moved to help her.One of the girls smirked at my child. Clueless and helpless my daughter began to cry. So rather than losing my temper I took my daughter and went home. I tried communicating with Torand via email and by phone and I left messages explaining my daughter's experience. No one has returned my call.I wanted to know if they had sessions with more mature and more attentive staff. I was ignored. Wanted to tell my story simply because not everyone's experience is great. After some time I found Coach Angel on Instagram and after a conversation with him I knew this was the perfect camp for my son. He goes into detail on how he teaches these kids and how he helps them feel confident enough to go out and play with a team without feeling lost. He's extremely knowledgeable and has passion for what he does . 5 weeks later, I am so glad I signed up Nate as he has improved/ learned how to apply these skills out in the field. He truly enjoys how everything is well organized and at the same time they have fun while learning. He's more confident, more motivated, and genuinely passionate about the game. There were moments where we weren't sure if he was going to earn more playing time. Instead of guessing or getting frustrated, we encouraged him to have a conversation with Coach Johny. That conversation changed everything. Coach was honest, clear, and laid out exactly what my brother needed to do to earn more opportunities. It gave him something real to work toward. A goal he could actually chase. Since then, he's put in the work and is now a key contributor on his team. What stands out about TQ is that they truly mean it when they say "trust the process." It's a great balance of a family environment and real coaching. The kids are supported, but they are also held to a standard and pushed to grow in a competitive setting. If you're looking for a program that develops players the right way and builds confidence both on and off the court, TQ is the place.

I am a casual basketball player that mainly shoots around at outdoor courts and will play pick-up…read moregames about once a week at-most (typically once a month). I was looking for an indoor court that wasn't too expensive and near the Hacienda Heights area so I thought this fit the bill. The reason for my 3 star review is based on the value/cost of this gym. I paid $48 for an annual membership but was told there's an additional $3 fee each time I come for the 'open gym' just to shoot around. I asked if there was another sort of "Annual pass" to save on this $3 fee but was told that the management is working on something like this. The closest thing they had to offer was a 10-pack of open gym passes for $27. A whopping $3 savings - I guess it's better than nothing but seems like a waste of effort in marketing something with such a small discount to customers. So I've only attended one open gym so far, I'm $75 in the hole and to add insult to injury, the actual courts are pretty dusty and, like other reviews mentioned, there are several dead spots (at least on the middle court where I played). I've played at the Hawaiian Gardens (Robert Lee Rec center) gym where it's only $50 for an annual membership (no additional fees) and the floors are much cleaner and the overall condition of the gym/courts is better so I feel like I'm being ripped off. I'll continue coming here (for the remaining 9 passes I have), hoping to find some open runs and maybe cleaner courts. But for my first impression of this place (just for open gym - can't speak to other programs here), this felt like a big letdown and I would advise management to prioritize cleaning the floors more often (I saw at least one custodian emptying fairly empty trash cans. I feel like their time would be better invested in a simple wiping of the floor - 15 minutes tops per court).
