It seems like…read morerenting scooters is their main thing, & most scooter customers seem very pleased with their experience. The car however - eh. $150/day with a ~$2,500 deposit was too steep. I know it's not fair to compare costs with other places & countries because the USVI is its own thing, but I've paid $30/day for much better vehicles in much more expensive places. Also, the Jeep handled disturbingly poorly (lots of bucking & bad brakes) & the A/C made screeching noises.

One is a junkyard the other has a junk and waited me 3 hours and never showed up and his location is a backyard of a bar and looks like this is the only legitimate operating scooter rental with reliable and new scooters. The prices excellent $55/day and $500 deposit. For extra helmet got charged $10 only. It's fast, and about 5-10 minutes you can get your ride. The scooters a brand new. I loved it. The gentleman who runs the business is fair partner in this. I got a scooter that was taking me anywhere I wanted on this island and St Johns island. I had a great time. The deposit was sent back the same day I returned the bike. Business was smooth as Tennessee whiskey or Hungarian Palinka. Some roads were unpaved and the ride was bumpy; nevertheless, our driver guided and warned us about the terrain. We then got off and proceeded to the bay. Took off our footwear prior to getting on the kayak that had clear bottom. When you get to the bay and paddle, it can be difficult to hear the guide and understand where he's pointing at. The water in the bay would glow with movement. The guide also talked about some constellations. Overall, this was a very well organized tour. Though it was a nice experience, I was underwhelmed. They do not recommend bringing your cell phones on the kayak and you cannot leave your belongings on the bus. Some bought and brought waterproof clear plastic casing that can be worn/hung on the neck. Bringing the electronic devices is at your own risk; some still did and tried capturing videos/pictures but it was difficult to do so unless you have a nice camera.

It's an easy way to spend a day in the sun without breaking the bank. The only hiccup was during check-in. I was told to head to the back for the "dos and don'ts" of snorkeling, but when I found the staff member, he just said, "yeah, you snorkel on the other side of the bay," and pointed behind him. No safety rundown, no directions, nothing. I ended up going back inside, and thankfully another staff member stepped in and got me set up properly. Once I was out in the water, though, it was beautiful -- calm, clear, and full of marine life. Overall, a great experience with just a small bump in the beginning. I'd definitely return.

They ask that you arrive about 15 minutes early, and when we got there, most of the staff greeted us inside the storefront before directing us out back to the kayaking area. For belongings, they give you two options: you can pay $5 for a locker with a key, or you can leave your things in the storage bins out back where someone is always present. I wasn't completely comfortable with the bins, but the staff reassured me that nothing had ever happened to guests' belongings. I decided to take the chance, left my bag there with cash inside, and thankfully, everything was safe and untouched when we returned. Our instructor was Kyler and he was amazing. He was patient, informative, and honestly did most of the work steering our kayak since my daughter kept getting frustrated and turning us in the wrong direction. Kyler shared a lot of history about the Condado Lagoon, pointing out landmarks, statues, and explaining the local marine life--what's there, what isn't, and why motorboats aren't allowed. The way back was more challenging because of the wind, so this time it was up to us to paddle. I ended up doing most of it (patting myself on the back here), and by the time we finished, I was completely soaked from the back--no idea how that happened, but it was all part of the adventure. We wrapped up after about an hour, grabbed our belongings, and everything was still there. Overall, it was such a fun and memorable experience for both my daughter and I.

We were shuttled to and from the site by a funny great driver. Once there we were met by two informative guys who led us to our boats. They explained the process, gave us life jackets and oars. They helped us wade to our kayaks in pairs and off we went. One guy led in front, the other stayed in back. We quickly got to a spot and played with the water to trigger the bioluminescence. As the night progressed, the "glow" was better. Movement causes the glow so contrary to some pics, it's not always glowing unless you cause it. Unfortunately we didn't see any fish or turtles. Our guide Jake explained a lot of the history/makeup of the bay. He handled our questions effectively. I didn't get any pictures as they discourage cameras/phones and also say they capturing the images is difficult. I so wish I had gotten a pic of my husband and I either in the kayak or at least with our oars...We were sad it was over-what a great experience!
