He treated us very disrespectful and unprofessional. Everything because I asked him to explain the reason for the high amount of copay I was being charged when my medical insurance had confirmed it was a less amount. I asked for the contact information of his billing department and that's when he became hostile, refused to provide it, told me to look for another place to take my daughter to and took my daughter off the schedule for PTs without notifying me. I found out she was off the schedule as I called the office to cancel the appointment one day because my daughter got sick. Vinod Mathew is very arrogant and needs customer service training. His front desk staff and PTs are good though.

The receptionist was knowledgeable about my…read moreinsurance plan, copay, etc. she was very friendly and really tried hard to find appointments that would accommodate my limited availability and offered to put me on a wait list (without my asking about it.) I went for a few visits but wasn't seeing tremendous improvement. I called to discuss my concerns and really appreciated their honesty, that unless I could also do some back-strengthening exercises at home, coming in wouldn't do much for me. Unfortunately I just don't have an hour a day to dedicate to that right now, but when I do I plan to go back. Since someone else mentioned it, it's true that the staff seems to be a little...chatty, let's call it. I've witnessed them all talking about each other while in for treatment and was also privy to a somewhat explicit conversation at the front desk about her recent date (while trying to pay my copay and schedule an appointment, so it's not like I shouldn't have been there). That stuff doesn't bother me as long as I'm receiving good care, which I feel like I did, at least by my PT's. The only real criticism I could give, is that they needed to cancel a Saturday appointment I had with only 2 hours notice... and they only called my house phone, despite also having my cell phone on file. As we had been out all morning, I never got the message. When canceling same day appointments, they really should use all methods of contact available.

The care is ok, if you enjoy "bay" type treatments, no privacy. I would suggest you go for one or two visits, but do not let them schedule in advance. In fact they wanted me to fill out a form that had all my CC info on it for future billing, this is 2022 I think...Paper forms are obsolete, and a risk, I refused to do this. Cancelation must be made in a year in advance (joke) or face a 75$ fine. My recommendation would be to try them, but don't let them sell you on two months' worth of visits.

So at this point, I…read morehad regarded PT simply as a hoop I needed to jump through in order to convince the doc that my problem was actually as bad as I said it was. It was bound to fail (again), and I was okay with that even if I thought it was just going to waste time. These are the steps I thought I had to go through -- I even told that to the kind folks here at my initial intake visit (including the part that I only chose them because they were closest to my house!). Little did I know I was in for a serious attitude adjustment. The people at Physical Restoration took my perspective as some sort of challenge...and won handily. Yes, my physical state was a mess -- I'm fighting an ongoing problem, and I really needed help, and luckily somehow found a place at random that was willing to do what I needed to have done. I've long since fired the original doc who sent me here, but kept the physical therapist! Lori and Marc really do care about the people who walk through the door. Even the patients cheer eachother on. Don't get me wrong -- Miracle Workers do not exist. But good, hard-working, caring, and intelligent ones do. If you put in the effort here, it won't be wasted. That's all anyone can really expect. It's certainly more than I ever did and I'm now in better shape than I have been in years. I got lucky when I chose their door to walk through, but you can actually choose them on purpose.

I've had experience with other PT providers (MedStar, Inova). So my review is by comparison. There were good therapists and trainers in the other PT centers also, of course. But Julia Smith at Restore in Ashburn is exceptional in her attention, expertise, and focus on the patient's needs. I had issues with my back and knees (osteoarthritis) as well as a strained hamstring injury. With the therapy, I managed to reduce the pain, build up strength, and also work on flexibility. Kate at reception is always friendly, helpful, and tries to find slots and fit the patient's time preferences as well as needs to travel or take breaks for other reasons. Unlike some of the other providers, it's not impossible to quickly arrange an appointment to fix an in-person evaluation and agree on a training schedule.

That's a lot of PT and I did really well . A particular shout out to therapist Danielle, who always had faith in me and guided me through the process.

I believe the Jackson Clinic is the best physical therapy office in Leesburg. I have tried 3…read moredifferent PT offices in Leesburg, and this beats them all. I heard about this place from my in-home therapist following my total knee replacement surgery. The front office staff is friendly, accommodating, and remembers your name as soon as you walk in the door. The physical therapists: Allison, Rachel, & Stephanie are all very skilled, always running on time, and ask all the right questions. The specialists: Barrett & Addy are friendly and know their stuff. Every appointment starts with 30 minutes 1-on-1 with the PT where they ask relevant questions, take measurements, and give a hands-on massage of the trouble area. Then you move to a full hour with the specialist. They take you through all the exercises recommended by the therapist. The final 10 minutes is for ice. They use the MedBridge GO app that runs on your phone. They can download your individual exercises right to the app. The app then shows you a video of the exercise, in case you forgot, and reminds you how many times a day, sets, and reps for each one. You mark them complete as you finish them. If you only have an hour for PT, this might not be the place for you, but if time is not an issue, you will get the biggest bang for your buck here. You will not feel rushed, but you are busy the entire time. Highly recommend!
