The set up of this location is extremely convenient. I dropped off several old cans of paint and some fluorescent bulbs. They took everything and the guy that helped me was very friendly and took care of everything. They also have an area where you can buy, for a very good prices, other people's left over cleaning chemical chemicals, paint, lubricants, etc. I'm glad we have a place in the area that makes it easy to get rid of toxic items. read more

I have been purchasing 90% of my grocery list from this store for over 20 years! I find what I need for my 4 day menus at an easily affordable price. I have never been able to find the variety of "garden fresh" components for my meals at another store of farmer's market. The produce always turns because the volume of sales is so great! It is priced to move! The fish market is the best kept secret in all of town. It is fresh 6 days a week & available at prices which make me wonder why this store does not have more business than it already does! Shop here once with your Safeway, Lunardi's or Costco list before you go to the other stores! You will understand. read more

I went here to recycle my broken microwave. You just park in their spot and they unload the item for you. Super quick and painless There is a cost though, but since I don't throw away microwaves often, I didn't mind. Prices are on their website. read more

Huge props for Rapid Recycle for helping me dispose of an old Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) television for free. It's one of those giant ones that weights more than 50 pounds, and is so big that you can't hug it. It took my and my boyfriend to be able to lift it into the truck of our SUV. We stopped by a donation center, afraid a call saying that they accepted televisions. "Oh, but not THOSE television." "But I called to ask and also checked online." "Oh. Marcus, he doesn't know anything." I left dejected, but determined to find something. Luckily, trusty Yelp had Rapid Recycle pop up as the first searchable item. We drove towards Martinez and exited right away. It was super easy to find. Unsure of what to do, I chatted with a gentleman who said it was his birthday. "Happy Birthday." "Now what are you trying to drop off?" "This television." Somehow, he was able to lift a 50 pound tv, by himself, with his hands and body. This guy must have been no more than 140/150 pounds. How?! He got my ID, inputted my address, and told me I was good. Wow. You guys are amazing. read more

A little hard to find but otherwise they took everything I brought. It is a valuable service they provide and the ability of them to process such a wide variety of items is awesome to prevent landfill. From wires to metals to old computer parts, electronics, and even an heavy old backup battery from ATT that Batteries plus would not take. They came out after I parked and emptied my van w the items I pointed out quickly with no fuss. The fact they are open on Saturdays is a blessing as well. read more

This was simple as it gets to dispose of e-waste(?)! Just pulled in- very busy place with a lot of forklift and truck traffic - so go slowly, look around and more than likely someone will direct you! Friendly employees. Recycled a few old TVs and other electronics here over the last few years. They will ask for your name and address depending on the product you're recycling. I believe it's to make sure nothing was stolen. Not all services are free so check the site and see if it fits your needs first. read more
