As the EHS Coordinator at my company. I've been using CalWest recycling for nearly 10 years. They are the only metal recycling company we use; do to their continued reliable service. Their service is quick and schedule times are flexible for me, but typically the recycled materials are disposed of within a day or two from call in; and sometime even on the same day. The driver is always helpful and he provides the extra hands needed to place items onto the truck when needed. I've never paid for any services in return. Cal West gets what they want and I get what I want... by avoiding unnecessary land fill and diverting recyclable materials for reuse that is environmentally beneficial to all. As a bonus to the material CalWest receives, we get thankful return in $$$, even though that's not goal. I would highly recommend CalWest and I will continue to use their services into the future. read more

Metal car parts, computers/parts, car batteries, broken electronic items, metal "stuff".... they took all the junk I cleaned out of my garage and paid me for it. Staff was friendly. There was one person ahead of me. After everything was sorted and weighed, I took the ticket to "the window". It was my first transaction there. They collected the usual information, and scanned my thumb print. Then, they paid me. I was in and out of there in 20 minutes. It was better than going to one place to dispose of or recycle the car battery, another place to dispose of the e-waste, and yet another to get rid of the rest and paying for the privilege of doing so. read more

i cant beleive the prices they give here and they dont even clean the parking area i got many screws and nails in my tire and they are not to blame well clean ur crap up and the prices i never got ripped off walking in the middle of the night at a park but here in your face this is a dump im not coming back here again and im telling my friends not to go here especially the management they lie i wouldnt rate this place anything but we have to so not a real star for them zero im not the only one who agrees read more

The first time I when to Eureka-tech recycling it was 4:30 PM on Friday. The cashier window is open until 4:45PM. I had my Ford Expedition packed to the top and all the up to the front seat. The tech came over and saw how much stuff I had and told me we have less than 15 minutes to process everything. He just looked me and said I can do this with you. We use them for our commerial e-waste pick up. They are always friendly, but just unable to keep an appointment. And they fail to call every time. Today they said they didn't have my contact information, which was kind of the last straw. I've been in contact with them periodically for 5 years, and my email signature always has my contact information. read more

I don't know of any place that gives cash for e-waste. I read about this place in Penny Savers. Staff is very friendly. And customer service was very good. I got 15 dollars for scrapping two monitors, one computer and some cables. I have referred this place to many of my friends. And they also do free pick-up. Overall, they deserve a five star!!! read more

I love Eureka Tech they don't have a set minimum required for scrap metal like some of the other places I used. I love that that they take E-waste because now I can make money by selling items I just overlooked before, I have brought old computers, keyboards, power supplies, cell phone, etc to be recycled and I have always received cash for it. read more

I had a great experience with this company. They were on point with collecting my items I had to give. They were friendly and informative. I have brought old computers, keyboards, power supplies, cell phone, etc to be recycled and I have always received cash for it. The employees weighing my surplus and the lady at the payment office are very friendly and can speak Spanish which is a plus to me. read more
